Main Responsibilities:

- Minimum one year’s previous experience of working as a corporate fundraiser in the charity sector or equivalent account management experience in a similar field.
- Experience of working on high value, multi-faceted corporate partnerships which encompass stakeholder management, income generation, employee engagement and fundraising, and communications and campaigns.
- Experience of meeting and exceeding challenging income targets.

Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Direction: Lead PBI UK, representing it to external stakeholders, including funders, policymakers, collaborators and the legal community. - Policy and Advocacy: Jointly with the Advocacy Manager, supervise the development and implementation of PBI UK’s advocacy and policy strategy with strategic partners including human rights defenders, law firms, other NGOs, FCDO representatives and other civil society organisations/coalitions. Work with the PBI UK team to develop operational projects and opportunities. Give strategic direction and practical support to the implementation of advocacy on policy, countries and cases.
- Liaison with Broader PBI: Lead liaison with PBI’s International Office and other global bodies, ensuring that PBI UK evolves in a way which contributes to PBI’s global evolution, and maintaining good relationships with other PBI teams.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven fundraiser to be our Trusts and Foundations Manager. The Sutton Trust is at an exciting point in our organisational journey, with a new Chairperson and ambitions to significantly grow our impact and fundraising as part of our 2030 strategy.
Over the past five years the impact of the Sutton Trust has increased, especially in our programme numbers, securing a relatively stable income of c.£6m over a number of years. In recent years this has grown to c.£7m, and our organisational strategy to 2030 will continue this fundraising trajectory to increase income to £12m. Trusts and foundations income currently accounts for c.37% of our fundraising, and we know there is considerable enthusiasm and opportunity in the grant-making world for building strategic partnerships with us.
Our fundraising approach will continue to focus on major gifts and strategic multi-year partnerships, leveraging a range of drivers to secure Trust, Foundation and Statutory support. There is significant opportunity to build mid-level income (£50k-£100k) from family and organisational trusts/foundations, in which the Manager will play a pivotal role, as well as completing a deep dive into the team’s extensive prospect pipeline.
The Role and Team
As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will be an experienced, proactive relationship manager and fundraiser. You will be confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking, along with securing and stewarding funding relationships with a wide variety of Trusts, Foundations, Statutory and organisational donors. With an entrepreneurial mindset for income generation, the postholder will be able to confidently manage competing demands to balance securing new funding and delivering high quality stewardship and grant management to a portfolio of current and prospective supporters.
The role will manage a growing portfolio of mid-level Trusts, Foundations, and organisational donors (predominantly £50k-£100k), while also providing strategic support on grant management of our major Trust and Foundation partners. This will include compiling key reports and support of gathering and analysing programmatic data.
The role sits in the Trusts and Foundations team of the Development Department and is managed by the Head of Trusts and Foundations. All team members work on both new business and grant/account management, with ambitious individual income targets. You will work closely with colleagues across both the Development Department and the wider organisation.
Main duties
New Business
- Undertake prospect research into trusts and foundations, statutory opportunities (contracts or grants) and organisational funders in collaboration with the Head of Trusts and Foundations, and other senior staff and senior volunteers. This includes identification, due diligence, qualification, and creating briefings and outreach plans.
- Work with the Head of Trusts and Foundations to cultivate a prospect pool of potential donors, looking at lapsed supporters, the prospect pipeline, stakeholder network mapping through the Board and Trustees, as well as funders with an active interest in education / social mobility.
- Submit compelling funding proposals and reports to mid-level trusts, foundations, statutory and organisational donors to secure income (predominately £50k - £100k) for the Trust. Work alongside other Development team and wider organisation members to ensure high-quality submissions.
- Alongside team members, manage the shared Development inbox to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a prompt, consistent, and friendly manner.
- Follow all relevant policies and processes to ensure due diligence is completed for prospective donors and account management plans are kept up to date.
Account Management and Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level trusts, foundations, statutory supporters and organisational donors, delivering impactful stewardship (e.g. impact reporting) while meeting all donor reporting requirements to maximise financial income and partnership longevity.
- Support senior team members on strategic management of our major trust and foundation partners, including leading on compiling key impact reports, coordinating meetings, attending programme visits, event invites, writing targeted donor communications and reporting.
- Work with the Head of Fundraising Operations to compile and analyse key programmatic data for use by the Development team in their grant reporting.
- Be accountable for achieving agreed trusts and foundations income targets, looking for opportunities to grow funding and diversify income for this stream.
- Ensure all record keeping and administration relating to trusts and foundations income is maintained, up-to-date, and processed in accordance with GDPR and Sutton Trust policies and procedures.
Fundraising Finance and Reporting
- Act as an ambassador for the Trust with external audiences, delivering presentations and providing expertise as required.
- Work with colleagues to deliver impactful events to cultivate prospects and steward partners, with a focus on experience for trust and foundation supporters and prospects.
- Work with colleagues across Development and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, income tracking and reporting for trusts and foundations income, through the Trust’s CRM (Salesforce), account management plans, and all relevant income pipeline documents.
- Ensure you appropriately follow policies and procedures on due diligence, Salesforce and data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.
- Stay up to date with grant fundraising best practice, learning from senior members of the team, and keep abreast of developments and opportunities within the wider fundraising space.

Person Specification
We welcome applications from individuals who have:
- Experience in successfully securing, managing, and developing Trust, Foundation, Statutory or organisational donor partnerships at five figures or above, from initial prospect research to securing income and ongoing grant management.
- Experience building and managing relationships, particularly in the philanthropic sector with organisational donors.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to write compelling proposals and impact reports, or pitch to audiences with the intent of persuading them to your point of view or secure a specific outcome.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarise information from readily available sources clearly and concisely.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and tasks to successfully achieve project or other goals.
- Excellent prospect research skills and strong analytical skills.
- First-class interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton Trust with confidence in a range of settings.
- Knowledge of fundraising in the education and/or not-for-profit sector.
- Experience using CRM software (ideally Salesforce) to accurately record funding relationships (desirable).

Terms of Appointment
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £43,000-£48,000
- Working location: Minimum of two office days per week. Our home working policy gives staff the option to - work from home for up to 60% of the time, with approval from their line manager.

Purpose
This is an exciting new role supporting the delivery of the events and partnerships programme within a leading mental health charity.

Key responsibilities and duties:
Supporting our events programme
- Supporting the overall delivery of our events programme, working closely with the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager, Head of Fundraising and voluntary fundraising committees.
- Take a lead role on the planning, delivery and evaluation of a number of events within the calendar - which may include budgeting, liaising with third-party event organisers, logistics, risk assessment, promotion, participant engagement and post-event analysis.

What we do for you:
Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages.
You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring, fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more.
- Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
- Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more.
- Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
- Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.

You'll help us build and nurture relationships with major donors, corporate partners, trusts, and foundations - ensuring every supporter feels connected, valued, and inspired by the impact they make.
No two days will be the same. You'll coordinate tailored communications, events, and stewardship activities that bring donors closer to our mission. You'll keep our systems and processes running smoothly and support everything from emergency appeals and prospect research to crafting compelling proposals and coordinating engagement opportunities. Every task you take on will help families receive emergency shelter when disaster strikes.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
- Deliver exceptional stewardship: Support the creation and delivery of tailored communication and engagement plans that make high-value partners and supporters feel connected to ShelterBox and inspired to continue their support.
- Lead on donor communications: Coordinate, write, and design our monthly newsletter for major donors and partners, ensuring it is informative and engaging.
- Support emergency appeals: Assist in producing timely, compelling communications during emergency responses, connecting them directly to ShelterBox's impact.
- Prospect research: Work with the Stewardship and Research Officer to identify and research potential new partners and donors.
- Event coordination: Help plan and deliver engagement events for high-level audiences, ensuring memorable experiences for attendees.
- Corporate engagement: Assist the Corporate Partnerships Officer in delivering unique engagement products for corporate partners, such as our .
- Trust fundraising: Support the Trusts and Foundations Manager with writing proposals for smaller trusts, bringing ShelterBox's work to life for potential supporters.
- Data and CRM management: Keep our CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics) accurate and up to date, manage data cleaning, and ensure compliance with Data Protection regulations.
- Process improvement: Maintain and update team processes to ensure efficiency and best practice.
- Insight and reporting: Work with the Stewardship and Research Officer to gather and analyse data on fundraising performance and donor experience.
- Financial processes: Ensure finance and procurement tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Compliance and learning: Stay up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice and seek opportunities for peer learning and development.
- Professional communication: Handle correspondence and communicate confidently with supporters by phone, email, and in person.
- Team collaboration: Provide general administrative support and foster strong relationships across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team and wider organisation.
- Represent ShelterBox: Act as an ambassador for our values and mission at all times.
- Other duties: Undertake reasonable tasks as required to support the team's success.
The Salvation Army ism recruiting a Philanthropy Fundraiser for Scotland and Northern Ireland. This role will play an important part in generating income to support the crucial work that the charity does in Scotland.
The Salvation Army is a truly inspirational organisation that provides a range of services supporting the homeless, families and vulnerable older people and has been doing this for over 100 years.
The position of Philanthropy Fundraiser, Scotland and Northern Ireland will play a key role in developing support from charitable trusts & foundations and major donors in Scotland and Northern Ireland. You will take ownership of managing and developing fundraising relationships establishing new prospects and engaging with existing supporters.
Key responsibilities:

Manage & develop a portfolio of existing and prospective medium sized charitable trusts & foundations across Scotland and Northern Ireland

Manage & develop a portfolio of existing and prospective major donor gifts across Scotland and Northern Ireland

Research and identify prospective funders who align with The Salvation Army’s aims and objectives and key strategic funding priorities

Support the team with planning, organising and associated administration of any donor related events, including the annual Christmas carol concert reception
Experience and skills:

Preferably the successful candidate will have previous experience of fundraising, with a proven record in generating income from trusts & foundations and/or major donors

You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information to donors and colleagues in a clear, effective and professional manner

The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise a varied workload to effectively meet your objectives to the expected quality standards and time scales
The role is based in Scotland with hybrid working. Ideally the candidate will be based in the Central Belt of Scotland with the ability to access offices in Glasgow or Edinburgh with two days per week being office based. (preferably one of these days based in the Glasgow office)
Salary: £31,224 plus pension, 25 days annual leave, life assurance, cycle to work scheme, travel loan and childcare vouchers.
