We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legacy & In Memory Manager to join our Commercial Directorate at Help for Heroes. This pivotal role will shape and maximise one of our most important income streams, ensuring we can continue delivering life-changing support for the Armed Forces community.
Legacy and In Memory income contributes over half of all fundraised income, making this a strategically significant role with the opportunity to drive meaningful and lasting impact. About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Mass Fundraising, you will lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of our Gifts in Wills and In Memory programmes. You’ll shape strategies that drive sustainable income growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver exceptional stewardship for supporters, families and executors.
You will oversee all aspects of legacy marketing, legacy administration and in-memory giving, ensuring compliance, accuracy and sensitivity in this specialist area. You will also provide clear reporting and forecasting to track performance and identify future income opportunities. Working collaboratively across the charity, you’ll embed best practice, enhance supporter journeys and maximise long-term income opportunities.
As a senior leader, you will guide and develop a skilled team of five, championing a culture of collaboration, learning and data-led decision-making.
About You
You’ll be a strategic, compassionate and resourceful leader with a strong background in legacy fundraising, legacy administration and/or in memory giving. You’ll bring both technical expertise and emotional intelligence — able to oversee sensitive stewardship activity, manage complex matters confidently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Significant experience in legacy fundraising, legacy administration and/or in memory giving
- Strong understanding of legacy marketing, supporter journeys and charity-side legacy processes
- Demonstrable team management or leadership experience
- Experience overseeing sensitive, high-quality stewardship to supporters and families
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and data-led decision-making capability
- Confidence in managing budgets, forecasting income and reporting on performance
- A values-driven, empathetic approach and commitment to delivering excellence

Aims:

- Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
- Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person

- Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
Context of role:
2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are an All-Wales charity providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

Purpose of role:
This is exciting time to join the 2wish team as we continue to expand our services across England that will see us deepening our presence in England. We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.
Main duties:
Team Leadership
- Line manage the Corporate Fundraiser and Events Coordinator, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
Partnership Development
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships to grow annual and long-term income.
- Develop and implement innovative and creative approaches to overcome challenges in generating funding and building partnerships.
- Lead stewardship and engagement of corporate supporters, including creating tailored plans and activities to maintain strong relationships and encourage long-term support.
Strategic Growth & Awareness
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to increase funding, raise brand awareness, and expand 2wish’s reach across Wales and England.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target relevant leads.
- Plan and deliver tailored events and attend community and industry events to promote 2wish’s services, raise funds, and attract new audiences.
- Identify and recommend networking and speaking opportunities for the CEO and senior team to raise funds, increase awareness, and build strategic connections.
- Manage sponsorship opportunities to promote the charity’s mission and build new relationships.
Planning, Collaboration & Evaluation
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to set income targets, develop financial forecasts, and monitor progress.
- Manage budgets for partnerships activities, ensuring effective use of resources and achievement of fundraising goals.
- Analyse and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including partnerships and events, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with teams across 2wish, including fundraising and marketing teams, to align partnership goals with the wider organisational strategy.
- Support the development of targeted campaigns in collaboration with fundraising and marketing teams to secure new partnerships.

What we do for you:
Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Full details of the scheme will be provided to you once you are enrolled, including the minimum level of contributions that you will be required to make during your membership (current contributions - employer 3% and employee 5%).
Mileage: A fixed rate allowance is payable for agreed mileage undertaken on 2wish business in a private vehicle, over and above your usual journey to your workplace/s.
Location: 2wish is currently working with staff to offer a form of hybrid working and this will continue for the foreseeable.

The High Value Officer for our Fundraising team will focus and lead on supporting the Trusts and Major Donor teams with postal and electronic mailings; keeping the CRM up to date; supporting the Prospects Research Manager with initial research, identifying new opportunities and sources of funding; streamlining administrative systems and processes; creating purchase orders and invoices; supporting the Major Donor Manager with administration of the Mid Value pool.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Humane League is seeking a self-motivated, organized, collaborative individual with the drive to create progressive change for millions of farmed animals as part of our Global Corporate Engagement team. As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages.
You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. You are able to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment, and you bring the organizational skills needed to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. This position reports to the Director of Global Corporate Engagement.
This is a temporary, full-time, remote position, beginning in late February and ending in late August. The duration may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. The temporary hire will provide coverage while a permanent staff member is on maternity leave, with overlap for training and onboarding. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring, fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more.
- Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
- Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more.
- Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
- Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.

Job Description
As the Operations and Visitor Experience Manager, you play a pivotal role at CSC, with full
responsibility for our Centre in Cambridge Science Park and our secondary site, currently in
Wisbech.
An essential part of your role is to drive CSC’s direct revenue streams connected to the Centre.
You will lead your team in generating public and school bookings, and in overseeing community
audiences, private hires, and other groups, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and
welcoming experience. You will also take a proactive approach to increasing visitor numbers,
expanding CSC’s membership base, and researching and developing new revenue-generating
initiatives that strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Your expertise in creating and implementing exhibition spaces will be instrumental in bringing to
life our annual delivery calendar of science themes, which is strategically curated to attract and
engage our audiences while supporting the delivery of our Programmes. You will oversee an
annual budget covering the shop and site facilities.
You will work closely with the Outreach and Innovation Manager to prioritise, schedule, and
maintain products and content in line with CSC’s core Programmes and commitments, ensuring
impactful experiences for all audiences. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications
Manager, you will plan and execute advertising campaigns targeting both the public and schools.
You will also coordinate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for
corporate partners to support on-site exhibitions and events, ensuring agreed partnerships are
effectively tracked and delivered.
Beyond operations, you will champion excellence in STEM engagement, providing both positive
and constructive feedback to the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure CSC’s offerings
remain best-in-class. This is an opportunity to shape the visitor experience at CSC, ensuring it

Key Responsibilities
● Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors to our centres.
● Support and line-manage the Delivery and Sales Administrator and the Finance and
Operational Support Manager.
● Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across CSC sites, ensuring full compliance
with requirements at both centres. Implement corrective actions where needed, and
oversee training and incident management to maintain a safe and well-managed

● Deliver an annual plan for exhibition-floor themes, events, and site management,
coordinating with the Outreach and Innovation Manager and the Engagement and Logistics
Lead to align activities with multi-year programmes, partner commitments, and internal
schedules such as training and exhibit maintenance.
● Establish a multi-layered feedback system to collect, analyse, and act on visitor insights,
continuously enhancing our offering.
● Oversee CSC’s volunteering and work experience programme, ensuring recruitment,
induction, and ongoing support are delivered to a high standard.
● Work with the Director of Business Development to identify and address barriers for
schools, supporting bursary applications and additional funding opportunities.
● In coordination with your team, ensure the shop is stocked with appropriate products to
maximise sales, support at-home engagement with STEM after a family visit and promote a
message of sustainability.
● Increase school bookings through strategic planning, aligning with schools’ annual planning
cycles, targeted outreach, and the effective delivery of engagement programmes.
● Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and deliver advertising for

● Manage the budget and oversee all contractors and expenditures related to the Cambridge
site and Wisbech.
● Provide financial support, working closely with the Director of Operations and Engagement
to ensure CSC’s operational sustainability.
Essential Criteria
Experience managing a visitor attraction, including responsibility for income targets and
cost control.

● Demonstrated success in increasing visitor numbers and driving membership growth

● A strong track record of increasing school bookings through targeted outreach and strategic
programme design.
● Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety management, including experience in
leading compliance activity and training across multiple sites.
● Strong financial acumen, with the ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational
financial oversight
● Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

● Experience in science communication or in working with families, adults, and children.
● Strong customer service skills and experience.
● Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject.
Working Conditions
The primary location for this role is Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge
Science Park, CB4 0FN; however, travel to secondary sites and the main office will be required.
One working weekend per month will also be required.
