Job Purpose
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications and Engagement Officer who can effectively convey the life-changing impact of our work, motivate our community to volunteer, donate and fundraise to support our work, and ensure that the information and educational resources we provide reach those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities
Communications:
· Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure timely and appropriate replies.
· Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging content and posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.
· Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.
· Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.
· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.
· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.
· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.
· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.
· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.
· Help oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.
· Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.
· Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.
Engagement:
· Provide support for online events programmes, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and the Online Events Committee. The type of support to be provided includes hosting Zoom sessions, supporting speakers, follow up administration including evaluations.
· Support IPWSO’s Famcare Board by facilitating their online meetings and assisting with their online events.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager to provide membership support, liaising with IPWSO’s member organisations as needed.
· Proactively engage with member associations to promote IPWSO and also to understand their needs and how IPWSO can be of help.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager on our Educational Outreach programmes. Work will include liaising with event organisers with regards to IPWSO’s booths at different conferences, ensuring follow up as needed (including help with preparation of PowerPoint slides), engagement follow up including data entry to update our database (Donorfy).

The Role
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of student recruitment and outreach for SEO London. The role plays a key part in executing digital outreach strategies, managing engagement with students and partners and supporting the organisation’s wider marketing and communications efforts.
RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
Communications and Marketing
- 
	
Oversee SEO London’s website and social media content, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with organisational priorities.
 
- 
	
Review the SEO London upcoming activity to promote opportunities, events and resources in coordination with programme teams.
 
- 
	
Draft, edit and schedule newsletters for students and partners, ensuring consistent messaging and campaign alignment.
 
- 
	
Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in delivering campaigns and maintaining brand consistency.
 
- 
	
Monitor analytics to assess engagement and recommend improvements across digital platforms.
 
Social Media Management
- 
	
Manage SEO London’s social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok).
 
- 
	
Create high-quality copy and visual assets, responding to student enquiries and maintaining brand standards.
 
- 
	
Oversee the social media request process, working with teams to capture and share engaging content.
 
- 
	
Deliver and lead on the social media plan through weekly posts and updates.
 
- 
	
Maintain and update the DEI calendar, integrating relevant topics into the social media plan.
 
- 
	
Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure consistent and inclusive messaging.
 
Student Engagement and Conversion
- 
	
Deliver virtual and in-person orientation and engagement sessions.
 
- 
	
Plan and manage targeted SMS and call campaigns, monitoring performance and suggesting improvements.
 
- 
	
Develop creative strategies to attract, convert and retain participants within SEO Careers programmes.
 
Outreach and Stakeholder Engagement
- 
	
Support the planning and delivery of outreach fairs and recruitment events, including logistics, follow-up and evaluation.
 
- 
	
Build and maintain relationships with universities, student societies and other partners to promote SEO London’s programmes year-round.
 
- 
	
Manage and promote Giving Back opportunities, ensuring listings are accurate and aligned with recruitment goals.
 
- 
	
Represent SEO London at speaking engagements, online events and other outreach initiatives.
 
Design and Administration
- 
	
Manage Canva and PowerPoint templates, supporting teams with finalised marketing materials.
 
- 
	
Design and produce visual and video assets for digital use.
 
- 
	
Oversee merchandise inventory, orders and other ad-hoc administrative tasks.
 
Collaboration and Relationships
- 
	
Work closely with other departments to align marketing and outreach with programme goals.
 
- 
	
Foster and build positive relationships with corporate partners, universities, students, alumni and the wider community to ensure communications are effective and impactful.

We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our talented team, who deliver impactful marketing, communications, and media initiatives at the British Psychological Society.
You’ll be leading on the delivery of our marketing and communications strategy, focusing on member acquisition, retention, and engagement, utilising digital solutions to promote our membership, qualifications, registers and CPD offerings, and much more.
Your expertise in communication will be essential as you cultivate strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, journalists and media contacts; driving proactive media opportunities to enhance our profile.
You’ll also play a crucial role in monitoring current issues in psychology and the psychological workforce, advising on communications strategies and supporting our campaigns that influence change.
We’re looking for someone with sound experience in marketing, communications and public relations. You should have a proven track record in managing marketing functions and cultivating media relationships, with the adaptability and solutions-focused mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a team of five direct reports including communications officers, senior marketing executives and a media advisor

Delivering an annual marketing and communication strategy to drive member acquisition, retention and engagement, with a focus on digital solutions

Promoting other commercial products, including qualifications, registers and CPD
 
- 
	
Managing the relationship between the BPS and the media through the exploitation of proactive and reactive media opportunities, increasing media coverage and visibility for our members

Collaboratively creating communication campaigns to support the work of our public affairs team, as they aim to influence change at governmental level
 
- 
	
Delivering media-related training to our volunteer psychologists.

Digital Associate
Location: London (2 days per week in office)

I'm partnered with a purpose-led communications agency working with major charities and NGOs, who are hiring for a Digital Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong writing skills and social content experience to join a fast-paced, collaborative team delivering impactful campaigns for good causes.

Join Sutton Nightwatch and help us raise vital funds to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas. You’ll lead on strategy, grow donor relationships, and deliver ambitious fundraising targets that directly transform lives.
Sutton Night Watch is a registered charity which was set up to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.
Over the past 10 years, with the support of local business, the local community and fundraising efforts, we have been able to grow and expand into our own, permanent base in December 2019. From here we are able to not only provide the essentials such as food, showers and clothing supplies, but we are able to also offer our service users a range of health services, benefit advice, wellbeing and educational based courses, clothes, washing facilities and most importantly, a place where people are seen, heard and understood. We also support people to find secure accommodation. In the past 3 months we have found homes for 13 people.
Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.
Our annual fundraising target is set at c250k (cash income) plus additional targets for in-kind donations, preloved donations and donated services. These support the growth and sustainability of our operations, ensuring we can continue to provide essential items and services to local people experiencing homelessness.
This role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising campaigns, organizing events, and ensuring income targets are met to sustain and grow the charity’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across individual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, trusts, community fundraising, and events.
 - Set annual income targets and monitor performance against goals.
 - Identify new opportunities for sustainable income generation.
 
Donor & Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and sponsors.
 - Ensure regular communication, reporting, and stewardship to encourage long-term support.
 - Work closely with trustees, senior management, and volunteers to maximize fundraising potential
 
Campaigns & Events
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and events (in-person and digital).
 - Oversee community and challenge events, ensuring participant engagement and fundraising success.
 - Leverage digital channels and social media to promote fundraising initiatives.
 
· Grant & Bid Writing
- Research and apply for funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
 - Prepare compelling proposals and reports to secure and retain funding.
 
· Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee fundraising budgets, track expenditure, and ensure cost-effective delivery of campaigns.
 - Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management and trustees.
 - Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
 
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising, within the nonprofit sector.
 - Strong track record of meeting or exceeding income targets.
 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
 - Knowledge of fundraising regulations, GDPR, and donor stewardship best practices.
 - Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
