We're setting up a new youth project in London called Urban Youth, that aims to create a positive community for young people that will offer a number of activities and programmes that forge connections by getting young people together and away from their phones and social media to active take part in fun and engaginging interactive activities that create memories, boost confidence and resilence and teach key skills for life that young people can take with them into adulthood, helping to build their future.

Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for branding and design leadership? We are seeking a visionary Lead Graphic Designer to shape our creative direction and bring bold ideas to life. In this role, you will be working on end-to-end design projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling campaigns that elevate our brand and captivate our audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and impactful visual brand assets for Youth Advantage UK (YAUK).
• Establish, document, and maintain comprehensive brand identity guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all creative outputs.
• Lead the strategic redesign and day-to-day management of the Youth Advantage UK website (hosted on Wix).
• Design high-quality, fast-turnaround visual assets for LinkedIn and other social media channels to support timely campaigns, events, and organisational storytelling.

Essential Skills

• Strong graphic design and visual storytelling abilities.
• Experience in editorial layout and digital design.
• Proficiency in photo editing, ideally skilled in Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe After Effects, or Premiere is advantageous, though not essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or currently pursuing one.
• A portfolio showcasing academic or professional design work.

Adventure Ashram is a small but mighty UK-based charity founded by adventurers in 2007. We support life-saving grassroots projects in India, focused on: 

• Combating human trafficking 

• Providing education for vulnerable children

We work closely with our local Indian partners to deliver meaningful, sustainable change. Our UK-based operations raise vital funds through adventurous events, innovative campaigns, and international initiatives—most notably our global yoga campaign, Yoga Stops Traffick. 

Role: Trustee – Fundraising Specialist 

We are looking for a new Trustee with significant fundraising experience to help us grow and diversify our income and contribute to our overall strategic direction. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to use their professional skills to make a lasting impact on vulnerable communities, particularly vulnerable women and children in India.

What we’re looking for

• Events: Attend 1–2 UK-based Adventure Ashram events per year (where possible) 

• Approximate time commitment: 1–2 hours per week 

We also hope that this new trustee would be open to supporting other trustees and staff in developing their fundraising skills to improve internal capabilities.

PUBLICITY & MARKETING VOLUNTEER

Across the UK, our 65 local branches work with disabled people to help them live the lives they choose. Our network of skilled volunteers respond to thousands of requests each year to design and make customised equipment free of charge.

Our Publicity & Marketing volunteers play an essential role in publicising and raising awareness of their local branch’s activities.

What the role involves

This is a varied role that each branch tends to do a bit differently, but it will involve:

• Collecting case studies from the clients we help

• Writing stories for the local press

• Distributing literature

• Arranging talks

• Working with the Central Team to promote panel activities

We can support you to develop the skills you need for this role, and there’s an induction that covers all the areas above. You’ll also have chance to discuss your role and any additional needs with us.

What you’ll need for this role

• Confident using Microsoft Office, the internet and email

• Confident using social media platforms

• Warm, approachable and confident to engage with clients to gather their story

• Able to follow REMAP policies and procedures
