Join us as a Public Affairs Officer to support the growth of our influencing and campaigning profile, helping to deliver high-impact content and campaigns that mobilise supporters, influence policy and raise awareness of issues that impact equine welfare in the UK and around the world.

About the role
As part of our Public Affairs team, you’ll lead on supporter content and digital communications, tailoring messages for different audiences to maximise reach and engagement. You’ll support research and report writing, monitor UK and EU policy developments, and track campaign performance to help shape future work. You’ll also play a key role in growing and engaging our supporter network—mobilising people to take action and strengthening our influence with decisionmakers.

This is a part-time role, working remotely for three days a week between 09:00 to 16:00. There is flexibility to discuss which days would suit you best, except for Wednesdays, which are required. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

About you:

You’re a clear, confident communicator with experience writing for digital channels, using campaign technology and working collaboratively across teams. You build positive relationships with supporters and stakeholders and understand how campaigning can influence decision makers, supported by knowledge of UK and/or EU legislative frameworks. You’re organised and pro-active, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Analytical and research skills, an understanding of equines and the ability to speak another language are desirable.

• Shape and evolve a clear, credible and cost-effective corporate engagement offer that supports long-term organisational sustainability.

 New income streams

• Scope, test and (if viable) deliver new earned-income models, such as corporate engagement models.
• Develop proof-of-concept approaches and evaluate their feasibility.
• Support the organisation to diversify and strengthen its income base.

 Collaboration & leadership culture

• Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to organisation-wide strategy and decision-making.
• Build a transparent, mature, collaborative culture around income generation.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire.  Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.

The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers.  LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making.  The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.

About the role:

The prospect research and pipeline management role will support high value fundraising across the Corporate, Trust and Community or Regional fundraising teams through prospect research, network mapping, lead qualification, and due diligence checks. This role will also manage the pipeline management process on our CRM ensuring the teams have access to dashboards tracking their donors across the stages of solicitation and be able to provide insight reports into how well we are moving prospects through the pipelines. This role will also be required to develop processes and ensure we are working within data protection and fundraising regulations and that our due diligence is tracked and auditable.

About you:

• Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant work experience
• Familiarity with prospect research tools and the ability to identify and recommend the best tools to support our work using the budget as cost effectively as possible.
• Thorough working knowledge of GDPR as it relates to major donor fundraising and the Fundraising codes to practise.
• Experience of undertaking due diligence checks on prospective donors and of setting up and implementing policies and processes to ensure and demonstrate adherence to regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic self-starter based in the UK, with experience in planning and running international events as well as academic workshops. As Degrees is still operating as a relatively small but growing team, the successful candidate will be flexible and motivated – prepared to turn their hand to whatever needs doing to deliver Degrees’ programme of work.

• A university degree in a relevant subject such as international development, international relations, public policy or earth sciences.
• At least two years’ experience.

Our mission is to prevent men’s violence against women through addressing its root causes, gender inequality and harmful gender norms and stereotypes. We do this by working with individual men and boys, organisations, and the community, helping them to understand the scale of the problem, and how they can be part of the solution.

This is an exciting time to join White Ribbon as our work and profile has grown significantly over recent years as the importance of engaging men in ending violence has become more apparent. We have an increasing public presence, through campaigning activities, policy influence, in the media and online.

Location: This post is remote or hybrid working at our offices in Hebden Bridge, but you must be willing and able to travel to meet with colleagues, including a quarterly full staff meeting at Hebden Bridge.  This post requires travel to attend events and meetings throughout England and Wales.

You will work closely with the Campaigns and Policy Manager, take ownership of projects and work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, from Parliamentarians to Ambassadors and Champions, our grassroots changemakers. You will help shape and implement impactful campaigns that align with our strategic aims, engage men and boys as allies, and drive forward our ambition to transform the cultures that underpin gender-based violence and will be helping to deliver our flagship campaign White Ribbon Day and the following 16 days of activism.

Downright Perfect is a volunteer-run charity supporting children with Down syndrome and their families through professional services, resources and community events. We are seeking a passionate Chief Executive Officer to oversee the day-to-day running of the charity and support the Board of Trustees.

Key responsibilities include:
 •  Supporting governance and Charity Commission compliance
 •  Managing finances alongside the Treasurer
 •  Coordinating volunteers and charity operations
 •  Managing communications, website and social media
 •  Overseeing projects, events and family support services
 •  Identifying funding opportunities and submitting grant applications

Essential skills: experience of running a charity or community group, strong governance knowledge, financial literacy, volunteer management experience, and experience working with vulnerable families or children.

Preferred skills: Knowledge of our charity; understanding or experience of Down syndrome, either professionally or personally; and awareness of the challenges that families may face when supporting someone with Down syndrome.

Requirements: right to work in the UK, driving licence and vehicle, DBS check.

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth at Learning on Screen—the UK’s leading charity for moving image in post 16 education. This is a revenue focused role for someone who thrives on relationship building, enjoys closing deals, and is motivated by delivering clear income targets. You will play a key role in growing and diversifying our income through sales, partnerships, and sponsorships, contributing directly to our strategic ambitions.

What you will be doing

• Selling our products and services (including memberships, subscriptions, and courses) to meet income targets
• Researching, identifying, and converting new leads across the education sector
• Supporting the development of sponsorship and partnership opportunities with external collaborators
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to maximise value, engagement, and income performance
• Creating compelling proposals and resources to support income-generating initiatives

What we are looking for

• Experience in B2B sales, partnership development, or commercial (ideally in the non-profit or education sectors)
• A confident communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills
• Someone who is proactive, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong data awareness, able to monitor performance and spot opportunities
