You'll drive corporate income and partnerships through a combination of first-in-class account management and identifying, and securing, new business opportunities. You will develop creative packages for support, drawing opportunities together across employee fundraising, branding, volunteering and pro bono, to attract support from new sectors and deepen existing relationships.

You'll work across both new business and account management, managing existing corporate partnerships to deliver exceptional stewardship and maximising on opportunities to meet, or exceed, income targets, whilst also identifying new opportunities through a combination of Charity of the Year, strategic, brand and multi-year relationships.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Significant and demonstrable experience of managing a high value (ideally six figure) corporate partnerships

Orchard Fundraising is actively seeking Client Leads to join our team. ​​The role is to lead all activities for a set of clients (typically 4 or 5 in due course). You will be the main point of contact and manage the work supporting each charity. You will be responsible for delivering the agreed fundraising strategy, setting the plan and supervising others working for you in a matrix management system.  At times, you will also need to be involved in application drafting for more complicated bids. 

The role is fully remote, working from home, ideally between 20 and 32 hours per week and can be structured to accommodate your availability and aspirations. At least five years experience of charity fundraising is required, notably trusts and foundations, with expertise in one or more of HNWI, legacy, corporate, digital and individual giving an advantage. While no formal qualifications are needed, a Chartered Institute of Fundraising qualification or training would be preferable. You will have experience in:

Business Development

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to develop strategies which increase Ygam’s visibility in the corporate space.

• Conduct prospective supporter research; establish and grow the partnerships pipeline, and develop pitches to meet shared objectives, working with the Head of Fundraising. 

• Build strong relationships with organisations that share our values.

Relationship Building:

Age UK is hiring a Philanthropy Lead! We are delighted to be recruiting for this brand new role in Age UK's award-winning partnerships and philanthropy team. We're looking for an experienced major donor fundraiser who has the passion, drive and strategic understanding to lead Age UK's Philanthropy programme. You will work to create a step change in philanthropy income & impact, aligned to Age UK's thematic priorities to tackle pensioner poverty, disconnection and health and care - locally, nationally and internationally. You will forge relationships to secure new donations and maintain existing donor relationships, whilst also leading and coaching a team you have the opportunity to recruit and build yourself.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office (EC3N 2LB) - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel for meetings and cultivation events. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

About the opportunity

• Identify and lead on local fundraising opportunities in Action Tutoring’s nine key regions, for example researching and submitting applications for local grants and to local businesses.
• Research and determine suitability of profile raising opportunities or awards for Action Tutoring to apply to, such as corporate Charity of the Year opportunities, the Third Sector Awards and Charity Awards.
