Job description

Group Work Coordinator – Shore House Ref:966


Salary: £24,454 per annum + £1,469 per annum Anti-Social Hours Enhancement

Full time: 37 hours per week (average over a 6-week rolling rota, including evenings (until 10.30pm), weekends and daytime hours)

Based in Brighton

5.5% employer pension contribution (reviewed annually)

Annual leave entitlement starts at 25 working days per annum

We are seeking to appoint a group work coordinator to join our innovative and dynamic service which provides accommodation and intensive one-to-one and group support to a diverse group of 20 people with mental health issues and complex needs.

The successful candidate will use psychologically informed ways of working to:

  • Devise, coordinate and develop the in-house group work programme that aims to empower clients and promote independence
  • Build relationships with services in the community to enhance opportunities for clients.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Shore House team in meeting the needs of all 20 residents
  • Work creatively and flexibly in partnership with clients and their support worker in times of enhanced need or risk.

You will be part of an experienced, knowledgeable and supportive team and benefit from a range of in-house and external training designed with a strong commitment to your personal development.
