We have an exciting opening for a full time Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser within our friendly and supportive Income Generation Team, based at our site in Farnham, Surrey. This role will see you working with a variety of businesses, large and small, local, national and even multinational companies across our catchment area. You will be helping companies to understand the impact of their support, using stories to engage with contacts at all levels and helping to support them with events, challenges, sponsorship and volunteering. You will have the opportunity to come up with new ideas to engage and build the support of our corporate partners. It’s a fun and varied role and no two weeks are the same, so you’ll need to bring lots of energy to the position!
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is great at communicating and confident at building relationships with our corporate supporters as well as internally within Phyllis Tuckwell.

About You
A successful Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will:
- Have experience working within corporate charity partnerships or a commercial business development/account management environment with transferable relationship management skills
- Have the ability to work in a busy team, managing conflicting priorities and be adaptable to changing demands on your time
- Be a natural people person with strong communication skills to engage with a variety of corporate contacts at various levels within organisations on the phone, face to face and in written communications
- Have excellent presentation skills and present themselves professionally
- Have experience working with supporters/customers/volunteers to deliver exceptional service and support, with a solution-focused approach
- Be confident in managing your own time with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Enjoy building effective relationships with colleagues as part of a lively team
- Have a flexible approach to working hours as the role involves some evening and weekend working and be prepared to travel across the PT catchment area to maximise fundraiser support
- Possess a full driving licence and their own car

Our mission is to care compassionately for adults living with an advanced or terminal illness, and those closest to them.
You will be building great relationships with our Corporate members and involving them with the work of the trust and inspiring them to support our range of inspiring projects. You will use your networking skills at events to proactively find new corporate supporters, and retain our existing supporters by running corporate events on our nature reserves across the county. You will further develop our corporate volunteering offering, working closely with our land management team, creating great days out for our supporters’ employees that they’ll recommend to their colleagues.
You will be an active member of the Fundraising team, sharing skills and ideas at regular meetings. The role will require extensive travel throughout the county, visiting networking events and arranging relationships between corporates and our wildlife projects, such as the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre. You will have a creative and innovative approach to the role, working on new ways to secure support from businesses from across the county. You will enjoy getting involved in fundraising events that include that whole fundraising department to create new income streams for the trust.

Purpose of the job
Reporting to the Grants Manager, you will create a positive impact on young people across the UK by supporting the distribution of unrestricted multi-year grant funding delivered as part of our evolving offer to unlock youth work for all young people. Working with the Grants Manager, you will ensure we deliver at a high quality consistently.
Key responsibilities

Support the Grants Manager to deliver our evolving grants and capacity building provision to the youth sector; bringing together our work to ensure a streamlined offer

Support the grant making process including communications and outreach; application, selection, awarding, distribution, monitoring and evaluation working with the relevant departments.

Maintain and develop grant management processes through our grant management system, Microsoft Dynamics, and working in partnership with colleagues in Charity Services.

Develop and maintain processes for creating application forms on our Grant Management System, informing applicants of decisions and tracking grant disbursements.

Manage applications for funding through our grant management system and provide direct technical support to applicants.
