Job description

Community Catalysts CIC is a busy, buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re starting a new piece of work in partnership with Suffolk County Council and need an energetic, and imaginative person to coordinate things for us.

You will lead the Suffolk Community Enterprise Project which will support local entrepreneurial people and community organisations to offer new and creative care and support options for people who need help at home and in the community. In this way we will help people to get the support they need to live the life they want.

To do this job you must:

  • Understand the world of care - but maybe feel it could do with a bit of a shake up!
  • Be a real people person - able to work well with all sorts of folks with confidence.
  • Instinctively make connections - and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
  • Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.

Have a look at our website and the job description and person specification for more information about us and the job. You will be employed by Community Catalysts and based in Suffolk, the project will focus first in the north of the County. This is a 1-year fixed term contract post.

Closing date for applications is on 11th May 2020 at 12.00pm and interviews will take place on 19th May 2020 virtually.

We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community.
