We are looking for an effective, organised and socially minded person to join our services team as a Service Coordinator. You will be at the heart of our business, directly coordinating and delivering our service to guardians and to property owners. Supported by experienced managers and, making use of a field team and other operational support, you will deliver work across our diverse portfolio.

The fundamentals of this role

Manage guardians

• Ensure guardians meet our criteria and ready for life as a guardian.
• Manage the guardian sign-up and move-in process.
• Be the main point of contact for guardians.
• Liaise with guardians to resolve any issues or concerns, e.g. poor conduct, licence breaches or vulnerability concerns.
• Work closely with guardians when they need to move on from Dot Dot Dot properties.
• Draw on data to gain insight into guardians and to guide support or interventions as required.
• Coordinate or assist with events, partnerships and other activities to promote volunteering and/or community engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure repairs are properly reported and dealt with.
• Collaborate with colleagues to fill voids quickly with suitable guardians.

Manage properties

• Collaborate with colleagues ensure that properties are monitored, set up and managed in line with internal standards, client requirements and any relevant licensing or regulatory standards.
• Organise, monitor and manage the handback of properties to clients, ensuring guardian and client relationships are managed professionally and  effectively.
• Monitor budgets and spending on property issues, to make good choices about spending and to inform budget planning and risk management.
• Collaborate with clients on property repairs, major works or other issues.
• Provide clients with reports and information about their property as required.

Provide excellent client service

• Liaise closely with clients (building owners) to understand their needs and to keep them updated and informed about our work.
• Build strong day-to-day relationships with client contacts, working in a collaborative and service- focused way.
• Understand our client agreements and ensure that our service delivery meets the unique requirements of each contract.
• Identify opportunities to add value for our clients, encouraging the best social and financial value for all parties.

We are looking for a full-time Shelter Coordinator to join our small and friendly team to lead the successful delivery of our shelter operations for the 2026-27 winter season. 

C4WS Homeless Project provides support to those experiencing homelessness throughout the year via a well-established winter night shelter in Camden, a lunchtime club, Jobs Club, hosting scheme, mentoring scheme and various other activities. We are passionate about helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness and working towards living independently. 
 
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the practical and day-to-day running of our shelters, which will involve: 

• Ensuring each shelter has enough trained volunteers to safely operate
• Ensuring each shelter has all the practical equipment and resources needed 
• Liaising with and supporting church volunteer teams 
• Being the main staff presence at shelter shifts 
• Responsible for managing our weekly Wednesday Club drop in 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with people who are experiencing homelessness or other similarly disadvantaged groups, an efficient and practical approach, warm and friendly nature, and a can-do attitude.
 
The successful applicant will be required to work flexibly whilst the shelter is operating. This includes some evenings (9:30pm finish), and some weekend shifts and bank holidays, as per a weekly-changing rota, and therefore is required to display considerable flexibility. Please only apply if you feel you can commit to this.

FTWW is looking for a Communications Coordinator! The successful candidate will develop and grow the organisation’s online platform, including sharing information, resources and signposting within FTWW’s pan-Wales virtual peer support community and beyond.

The role is full-time (0.8 FTE considered for the right candidate), home-based within Wales, with occasional travel to events and meetings, so a driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage. We work flexibly, but core working hours are between 10am-4pm, and the successful candidate will be expected to work some evening and weekends, as required.

We are a small but mighty charity where no two days are the same. You may be involved in promoting a focus group to our members one day and meeting with a journalist the next. The Pleasance Theatre Trust is one of the most established Fringe theatres in the UK - which as a registered charity aims to discover, nurture and support artistic talent from around the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our team and provide essential support to the busy Finance Department.

The Finance Coordinator works with the Head of Finance and is responsible for a number of key book keeping and finance functions, including managing the purchase ledger, entering purchase and sales invoices, credit control, reconciliations, month end completion, raising settlements and general finance administration and communication.

With a strong focus on financial management, the ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in finance and have previous experience working within a finance department. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service based in Bedford.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.

Position: S11373 Stroke Association Support Coordinator

Location: Home base, Bedfordshire, however frequent travel will be required as part of this role (to include community visits, team meetings, and other work-related meetings).

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Salary: £22,600 per annum (FTE circa £28,300 per annum)

Contract: Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2027

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach in the East of England, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting newly diagnosed stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

· Supporting a diverse caseload including anyone experiencing communication or cognitive difficulties

· Providing support via a combination of face-to-face visits, telephone calls, emails or letters, and digital methods (such as video calls).

· Using a person-centred and person first approach to provide specific, tailored information, advice, and support to stroke survivors and stroke carers.

· Empowering stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to live life well after stroke.

· Working with other health and social care professionals across the stroke pathway to ensure high quality support.

You will have experience in:

· Working with people within a caring profession or other caring capacity.

This role requires extensive travel across the local service area to visit people at home and in community settings and also travel further afield for team and Locality meetings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

About You

You will have at least three years’ experience delivering interventions for young people facing exclusion or other significant challenges, alongside experience leading or supporting teams within a youth work, sport, or education environment.

You will be confident building trusted relationships with young people and able to engage and support them using a trauma-informed and relationship-based approach.

We are looking for someone with a proven record of developing collaboration and coproduction across services for people experiencing housing or homelessness issues people, to join us as a Project Coordinator. The role will oversee the development of Shelter’s participation in the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum. 

About this role 

Your role as Project Coordinator will further develop collaboration and coproduction across organisations who are member of the Norfolk Homelessness Solutions Forum. Specifically, this will involve project management for delivering the Forum’s objectives, overseeing the project communications plan and establishing and leading delivery working groups. You will oversee and support the work of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum’s Lived Experience Coordinator, act as an adviser on good practice for partners and ensure that co-production, collaboration and a person centred focus is at the heart of everything you do.

About you 

You will have experience of managing complex projects, including using a range of Project Management techniques and influencing system change using an evidence base. An outstanding and adaptable communicator, you will have experience of chairing meetings, delivering presentations and working in a multi-disciplinary context with external stakeholders. Your understanding and empathy for the people worst impacted by the housing emergency means you will be able to motivate partner organisations, championing the work of Shelter and the Forum within Norfolk.

The aim of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum is to bring about system change for homelessness support in Norfolk, by ensuring that the people’s views are transferred into policies and practices that truly support and serve the community. The Forum helps with the sharing of best practice, identifying service gaps and developing strategy to reduce homelessness and rough sleeping. 

About the Team

We have been providing housing advice to the people of Norfolk for almost 30 years, with specialisms in housing legal advice and advocacy. Our team work out of our Community Hub in Norwich and across Norfolk in community settings. We work in partnership with other local services to address interconnected issues which may impact on our clients’ ability to keep a home. This also includes advice for residents of Kings Lynn in partnership with Broadland Housing and Norfolk Citizens Advice. We also deliver housing right awareness sessions to empower local communities to take action on housing issues.

About the role

This coordinator role sits within our Mass Participation team in our Income Generation directorate. The role supports participants in mass participation events – both organised by third parties including the London Marathon or bespoke Shelter events that you will have responsibilities for.

The main objective of the co-ordinator role will be to deliver challenge and bespoke events, from planning and set up, pulling together financial budgets to meeting supporter recruitment and income targets through to the delivery of event day and evaluating results.

This role will give you the exciting opportunity to work on our busy third-party programme, enabling delivery of events including London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon and the Hackney Half and support the development of new bespoke products.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a variety of mass participation events with the chance to be involved in event delivery, supporter stewardship and volunteer management for some of the most prestigious events in the charity calendar.

About you

You will enjoy collaborating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and have experience designing and working across customer journeys with multiple touchpoints. You will bring strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to your work.

You will have a proven track record of delivering against financial targets, with experience in monitoring performance and reporting on progress.

The role:

As Community & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator you will be assisting Peter Bedford Housing Association with its current strategic aims of making a difference for Tenants and Participants and achieving more through ambitious partnerships.

Situated within the housing association’s Enterprises & Training Team, you will lead the delivery of a specific project seeking to tackle food poverty and long-term development needs such as wellbeing and social connection.

You will work alongside the Pantry Coordinator to lead on developing a wrap-around service to enable access to skills training, IAG, and volunteering opportunities for PBHA’s tenants and local communities.

In this role you will develop partnerships to help Peter Bedford Housing Association listen to community needs collaborating with groups supporting global majority individuals to co-produce activities with wellbeing and community connection at its core. A key target of this important project is to work collaboratively to ensure Peter Bedford Housing Association activities and services are increasingly accessible and relevant to any local person who wishes to join.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with organisations supporting disadvantaged adults to develop skills and build resilience.
• Work collaboratively with local partners to co-produce services which reflect community needs.
• Organise and deliver events, and workshops that develop community cohesion.
• Oversee the delivery of exciting new activities, groups and workshops for Peter Bedford Housing Association tenants and the local community.
• Recruit & Support 15 volunteers to support with delivery of services.
• Apply learning gained through collaboration to adapt and improve the organisation’s approach to engaging individuals from marginalised groups.
• Increase Peter Bedford Housing Association’s community presence to promote its activities & services across the community.
• Monitor and evaluate impact over the course of the 1-year project.
• Develop new relationships with organisations that can support the delivery of a wrap-around service including money advice, talking therapies, pro bono legal advice and learning & development.
• Manage a team of volunteers to support with the delivery of services such as digital inclusion, events and marketing & communications.

Person specification:

 Essential:

• At least 1 years’ experience working with services promoting learning & development, wellbeing and improving people’s outcomes.
• An understanding of community engagement, poverty reduction initiatives and improving outcomes.
• Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers.
• Experience of providing training and delivering engaging presentations in public.
• Good computer literacy including the ability to use Windows applications and word processing and database packages. This also includes the ability to use the Internet and to draft and send e-mails, marketing and communications for events.
• Experience of focusing on individuals’ strengths and of learning from mistakes.
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused way.
• A demonstrable commitment to promoting social inclusion through collaboration and innovation.
• Can positively contribute and take initiative, good negotiation skills
• Able to constructively challenge and lead positive change- including with assumed constraints and the abilities of people with ongoing mental health needs.
• Promotes positive risk taking and supporting people to find their own solutions to engrained challenges.
• Good verbal, written & positive interpersonal communication skills, ensuring that stakeholders are treated with respect and dignity and are not judged.
• Organise work effectively by prioritising, planning and excellent time management.

Desirable:

• Holds a level 3 award in education and training, level 2/level 3 information, advice and guidance qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to make engaging presentations in public.
• Experience of forging working relationships with the voluntary and statutory sector.
