The Major Donor and Trusts Manager will play a pivotal role in driving RNID’s High Value fundraising strategy. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of major donors and trusts, strengthen stewardship processes, and develop innovative engagement strategies. Working in close partnership with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and High Value colleagues, you’ll help unlock transformational gifts that make a lasting impact.

You will:  

· Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and trusts.


· Design and deliver innovative stewardship plans.

· Create engaging funding proposals and impact reports.

· Work with advocates and internal teams to identify new prospects. 

· Plan and deliver donor cultivation events. 

You’ll bring a proven track record of securing significant gifts (five and six-figure), excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to craft compelling proposals. Highly organised and self-motivated, you’ll be confident using CRM systems and managing multiple priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a passion for RNID’s mission to create an inclusive world for people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus.

No essential qualifications are needed, but a good standard of written English and attention to detail is a requirement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Programme Coordinator, you’ll support the work of our Communications and Networks Team while helping keep our office and digital platforms running seamlessly. 

You will:

Website and digital

• Maintain and update the Democracy Classroom website with resources and programme content.

• Work with colleagues to upload reports, blogs and event details.

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day office administration, including supplies, IT support liaison and record-keeping.

• Support finance processes, including invoices, expenses and financial tracking.

• Maintain key operational systems such as our CRM, database and filing systems.

Events and programmes

• Coordinate logistics for meetings and events (online and in-person), including venues, catering and participant communications.

• Support programme delivery by liaising with facilitators, partners and participants.

Team support

• Provide diary management and scheduling support for senior staff where needed.

• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and track actions.

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and HR processes.

You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to wider organisational projects and learn new skills as our work evolves.

The job is based on a 14 month fixed term contract (including a 6-month probation period), with opportunities for extension. 

The Politics Project is based in central London, with a mixture of in person and remote working. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional travel to elsewhere in the UK and working unsocial hours in evenings and at weekends may be required.

Programme and Assessments Manager 

The role: Are you an experienced programme manager able to engage and drive impact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including leading brands, manufacturers, governmental and third sector organisations to drive continuous improvement in fair work standards – with major legislative changes on the horizon? Do you have experience of social audits and assessments and the role they can play in measuring progress and driving continuous improvement?

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with sector specific expertise to manage our collaborative programme in the UK apparel and general merchandise sectors following a strategic year focussed on the evolution of the programme from the previous Fast Forward initiative.  

In this varied role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the UK Apparel and General Merchandise programme, provide developmental input and support the implementation of the key recent developments in the programme, as well as ensuring the programme maintains its integrity. You will manage relationships with all key stakeholders in the programme including brands, suppliers, audit bodies, third sector organisations and public bodies.  

You'll also manage the quality assurance of the portfolio of Stronger Together assessment methodologies – including the Fair Work Audit operated in the UK manufacturing, service provision and construction sectors. And you’ll deliver, enhance and promote brand and supplier engagement including training workshops and webinars. 

You’ll work with the Co-CEOs to ensure the programme delivers on target, on-time, on-budget, in line with the agreements and organisational objectives and guidelines.

Position

The MSF UK Digital Team is made up of 10 specialist staff who act as an internal agency and provide expertise, project management, training and support to all other departments. We are part of a global network of Digital specialists within MSF which shares knowledge, expertise and best practice, coordinated by the International Digital Engagement Unit based in the International Office in Geneva. 

The International Legal Department (ILD) of MSF is currently the only intersectional department of MSF. Primarily dedicated to support MSF operations, the ILD rationalises legal support and provides high-level legal advice to all MSF entities; its field of expertise is varied, including international humanitarian law (IHL), medico-legal issues, medical research, labour law, commercial and administrative law, trademarks and international governance. The ILD is divided in six units specialised in different areas of law. The position ensures the Guide is produced to a high standard and effectively disseminated to its target audience.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice helps babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell, and their families, make the most of every day. The charity aspires to become a centre of clinical excellence for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

We’ve been on a major upward trajectory in recent years, with more children being supported, more major hospitals being partnered with and more supporters donating. We’ve transformed from being an enthusiastic start-up delivering care in the community, to a serious player delivering major impact both in the community and at our state-of-the-art hospice building, The Ark, opened in 2019.

Philanthropy, which covers Grants, Trusts & Foundations and Major Donor fundraising streams, is pivotal to Noah’s Ark, typically accounting for around 50% of the charity’s voluntary income. This is an area of real expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further refining. The successful candidate will therefore enjoy opportunities to manage and add to an exciting portfolio and gain further training and support, working as part of a high-performing and super supportive team, ready for its next exciting growth phase.

The Philanthropy Officer will work closely with and report to the Grants, Trusts & Foundations Manager and Head of Philanthropy to develop the Trust and Major Donor pipelines, along with instrumental cross-team work on applications and reporting processes for other income streams. Whilst we work towards developing a more diverse funding model and navigate changes to the external Trust and HNWI environments, sustaining and growing income from both of these income steams will remain vital.

The post-holder will be key in taking the Trust and Major Donor programmes to the next level, securing new grants, building relationships, increasing multi-year gifts and improving both quality and volume of applications. They will also support the Grants, Trusts & Foundations Manager, and the wider team, to the same end with their respective portfolios.

Responsibilities:

• Volunteer management including recruiting, developing and retaining volunteers

• Be the ‘go to’ person to provide support for our Area Reps and Street Reps and develop a peer-to-peer network to share best practice across volunteer

• Raise awareness around trees, particularly in areas of low tree canopy cover and where we are currently underrepresented

• Work closely with the tree care team to support volunteering and training opportunities including watering, formative tree care, auditing

• Building networks and developing meaningful relationships with community groups and individuals, working at a hyperlocal, neighbourhood level 

• Spend time listening to groups and gathering feedback to understand their emotional responses and perceptions to trees 

• Work with communities and partner charities to map formal and informal networks within local neighborhoods

The Development Manager sits within our Development & Communications Team and plays a critical role in securing the funding and partnerships that fuel our global prevention efforts. This role is responsible for managing and preparing high-quality funding applications, nurturing donor and partner relationships, and leading on individual giving initiatives that grow our supporter base and strengthen long-term sustainability.

You will help build a strong pipeline of philanthropic, trust, foundation, and corporate support, ensuring the organisation continues to innovate and scale its prevention programmes worldwide.

This role will be responsible for:

Funding Development & Applications

• Prepare and submit compelling, high-quality funding proposals to trusts and foundations.

• Develop supplementary materials for applications, including budgets, MEL frameworks, timelines, and theories of change.

• Research and identify new funding opportunities to maintain a strong pipeline.

• Manage funding calendars, ensuring deadlines, reporting, and grant obligations are met.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing funders, partners, and individual donors, ensuring excellent stewardship.

• Support the Head of Development & Communications in cultivating philanthropic prospects and corporate partnerships.

• Represent STOP THE TRAFFIK in meetings and presentations with funders and external stakeholders.

Campaigns & Individual Giving

• Lead individual giving activities.

• Collaborate with the Development & Communications Team to design creative fundraising campaigns that grow income across diverse supporter groups including universities, schools, and community initiatives.

Storytelling & Impact

• Translate data, insights, and project outcomes into persuasive narratives for funders and partners.

• Work closely with programme teams to gather impact information and incorporate it into applications and pitches.

• Experience in fundraising or partnership development within the charity or social impact sector.

• A strong track record of writing successful funding proposals and trust/foundation applications.

• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, evidence-based narratives.

About the Role

We're looking for a compassionate and driven Service Manager to join our residential service based in Havering. This role supports residents in temporary housing who are facing challenges with substance use. As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team, making sure we deliver high quality support, performance and improvements across our service whilst representing values of the organisation. You'll play a hands on role in supporting individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and complex needs guiding them towards stability, independence, and brighter futures.

The service focuses on providing a 24 hour, 25 bed accommodation service to residents who are deemed to be high risk. They support those who are experiencing homelessness. All admissions are jointly agreed, and placements reviewed at a weekly Complex Needs Panel chaired by the local authority. Residents are agreed on the basis that they are:

• Overseeing support related to substance misuse, ensuring effective interventions and pathways for service users
• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service

• Property and Housing Management, ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements, and repairs and maintenance are regularly reported and completed

The Unifrog platform

Over the last 12 years, the Unifrog platform has grown enormously from its starting point as a simple tool to help students pick their UK university courses and apprenticeships. It now helps young people from 4 years old up to explore their interests, record the great things they’ve done, compare every post-16 and post-18 course in the UK and every undergraduate programme taught in English in the world, find and organise work experience, and draft their application materials. The platform also helps teachers and career advisers to guide students every step of the way, makes it easy for parents to explore the platform via their own accounts, and helps employer and university recruitment teams to interact directly with students. 

We have a long list of exciting projects for the platform, always aiming to achieve our mission. We are looking for someone to join Unifrog’s team to help us continually improve the platform’s existing tools, and to also develop new ones. 

What you’ll do

You’ll work on improving the platform itself, from how things work behind the scenes, to the user experience and how the tools work and look.

This role does not involve coding - instead you’ll develop and design clear ideas and plans with Unifrog’s two co-founders, and with other colleagues involved in platform development, and then you’ll work with our lead programmer to make them happen.

You will become an expert in:

• The needs of all our different user types, including students, teachers, school groups, universities, employers, and parents

• How to navigate the platform as a user of each type

• How the Unifrog platform works behind the scenes

You’ll be part of the team that:

• Collates feedback on the platform, deciding which changes to move ahead with, and how
   

• Comes up with and designs ideas for platform improvements

• Develops and designs completely new tools

• Investigates potential bugs and comes up with suggested solutions

• Communicates platform changes to the Unifrog team

Working together

You’ll regularly be working with:

• Unifrog’s two co-founders and other colleagues involved in maintaining and developing the platform – in particular our data and content teams – to come up with improvements to the platform and to develop new projects

• Our lead programmer to implement ideas

• User-facing colleagues to understand what our users are asking for, as well as communicate to them what things have changed on the platform

• (More occasionally, but especially at the beginning) our users, when you need to have a greater understanding of a particular topic

Skills and characteristics

We are looking for an independent worker with design skills, who is a great problem solver and is motivated to find an elegant solution, whatever the issue.

Design

You’ll be producing the designs that go to our lead programmer, and which he’ll use as the basis for his work. You should have experience with UX design, and we can accommodate whichever application you prefer to work with, eg Figma or Sketch.

We’ve developed and plan to keep developing a large range of tools on the platform, like:

• Quizzes

• Tools to make large banks of information easy to search and understand

• Tools to simplify complex workflows

• Integrations with other platforms

• Document creation that involves input from multiple people

• Data visualisation

The problems we come up against can involve:

• Different users handling the same processes in different ways from each other

• Different groups of users having competing wants

• A data provider changing the way they structure their data

• Users not completing an important action on the platform

• A change on one tool having a knock-on effect on several other tools

• Users expressing their needs and ideas in uncertain or ambiguous ways
   

Your challenge is to design concrete solutions that work for everyone, which are as simple as possible to implement, and which are immediately understandable by a user who’s never seen them before.

Independence and initiative
 

You will work closely with Unifrog’s two co-founders. While colleagues from the wider team will be involved in coming up with ideas and telling you what they need, you will be the only team member, apart from the co-founders, in the product development team.

Because Unifrog’s co-founders work remotely and are also involved in other areas of the business, this will require you to be a good independent worker:
 

• Able to plan a project and stick to timelines, even when you need to get input from other team members

• Confident to come up with your own ideas, sort out good ideas from less useful ones, and make decisions based on information you’ve researched or been given by other team members

• Open when getting feedback

• Able to adapt to a team used to working in an informal way with few processes, allowing for flexibility and rapid advancements

You will need to understand and translate the issues that a user is facing to our lead programmer, and tell him your ideas for solutions and explain your designs in a way that will allow him to get working without needing lots of clarification.

You will need to communicate what development work is happening to the rest of the Unifrog team, and you’ll need to help your colleagues find the best way to tell users about it in turn.

Finally, you will need to be able to adapt your communication style depending on the person you are communicating with, including our lead programmer, other Unifrog team members, or partners and users.
