Part of a team of Outreach and Project Workers pivotal to the delivery of an exciting new project focused on reaching women identified as at risk of homelessness and exploitation. The Luna Project supports women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. Shelter Manchester are recruiting two Housing Rights Workers, as part of our @Home Service, to undertake preventative work with families at risk of homelessness, so that they can sustain a safe and secure home.
Your role will be to deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in school settings to families at risk of becoming homeless and experiencing housing issues. You will plan and deliver holistic casework to families and support them to resolve their housing situation, as well as recording quantitative and qualitative data to evidence the impact of these interventions.

About you
You will have the ability to engage and work collaboratively with individuals, communities and a variety of stakeholders, including running group workshops and presentations. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
1. To support the successful delivery of projects, activities and events, through the successful management of event logistics, communications, and resource preparation. What is it like to work for us?
As a small charity we are able to provide a great work-life balance with early finishes on Fridays, Christmas shut down, training opportunities, a friendly office near Spitalfields, and a cash-back health plan.
This role is predominantly office based. You would work in the office or at an event location in East London usually 4 days per week. You would usually be able to WFH one day per week, typically Fridays.
To support our colleagues we ensure that we always pay the London Living Wage, and we also offer a £500 travel bursary with this role on top of the salary, to support high London working costs.

London Play is looking for an experienced and proactive Network Manager to lead the development of the Wilder Play Network, an ambitious initiative bringing together six adventure playgrounds across London to strengthen their role as community green spaces.

About the role
As Wilder Play Network Manager, you'll be responsible for building and coordinating a network of partner organisations, supporting collaboration, learning and shared action across the programme.
Working closely with playground staff, local communities and strategic partners, you'll help deliver environmental improvements, support biodiversity projects, coordinate learning opportunities and ensure the programme creates lasting impact.
You'll also play an important role in helping establish the Wilder Play Network as a recognised voice for adventure playgrounds within London's green infrastructure and play sectors.

You'll have experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and be comfortable coordinating activity, monitoring progress and supporting partners to achieve their goals.

You will be designing, planning, and delivering projects aimed at improving outcomes for our fellows and student members, other key stakeholders, and the wider geoscience community. In line with our EDIA Strategy, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on activities and progress alongside the EDIA Committee, producing an annual report.
Beyond this, you should expect to be fostering relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to ensure that the Society continues to embed itself as an inclusive and equitable role model, and leader throughout the wider geoscience community on a global scale.
