The Role

We’re looking for a super-organised, people-friendly administrator to help keep our Digital, Marketing and Business Enterprise teams running smoothly.

You’ll be right at the heart of our digital activity, triaging requests, managing web and marketing tasks, and helping make sure work is prioritised, tracked and delivered on time. You’ll be the go-to person who helps turn ideas and requests into clear actions, while also providing wider admin support that keeps everything ticking along behind the scenes.

If you enjoy variety, like bringing order to busy workloads, and get satisfaction from helping teams do their best work, this role is for you! 

About You

You’re organised, proactive and enjoy making things happen.

You’re confident communicating with a wide range of people, happy juggling different tasks, and calm when things get busy. You don’t need to be a digital expert, but you’re curious, keen to learn new systems, and comfortable using that knowledge to help triage queries and solve problems.

You’ll have experience in an admin or coordination role, be comfortable working with digital tools and shared systems, and enjoy being the person who brings clarity, structure and a positive energy to the team.

• You’ll think creatively when planning and facilitating the programme and use a range of methods to support the students learning goal

• You’ll work to strengthen our local community and youth networks, developing partnerships with external organisations

The Cathedral has a particular responsibility to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults in the Cathedral community. It shares this responsibility with the Diocese of St Albans. This work is wide‑ranging, and the Cathedral Safeguarding Officer (CSO) plays a central role in maintaining good safeguarding practice.

This part‑time role (15 hours per week) becomes vacant as the current postholder retires after four years, with time planned for handover with the person appointed to the role now. The CSO works with senior staff and the governing body to help lead policy development, training, reporting, and compliance with Church of England guidance. They report to the Canon for Mission and Pastoral Care and receive regular professional supervision from the National Safeguarding Team, with occasional networking with other CSOs.

Safeguarding is recognised as a shared leadership responsibility. The CSO meets weekly with senior clergy to review cases and will also work with the newly appointed non‑executive Safeguarding Lead on Chapter, the Cathedral’s governing body.

A core part of the role is promoting safeguarding awareness across the Cathedral community and understanding all activities involving children, young people, and vulnerable adults. The CSO provides professional advice on concerns raised, ensuring responses follow law and national policy, and works closely with diocesan and national safeguarding teams on complex cases. They also ensure appropriate support for survivors and proper management of those who pose risk.

About You

The Cathedral is seeking candidates with strong knowledge and professional experience in relation to safeguarding issues and proven experience working collaboratively in teams.

The post will require some flexibility in working patterns and will therefore require occasional weekend working and the ability to respond to urgent cases.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant professional qualification and relevant experience and expertise in child and/or adult protection.

We are looking for a Data Selection Analyst to join our Customer Experience Data Team. As a Selections Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate data selections to support fundraising and marketing communications. Through analysis you will help shape and enhance fundraising efforts, informing targeting and testing, ultimately influencing how we engage with and support our community of donors, volunteers and supporters.

Your ability to present clear and actionable data analysis will be essential in driving the success of fundraising campaigns and contributing to the organisation's growth.

Skills we are looking for

Significant knowledge and experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel and Power BI would be key to succeed in this position. Knowledge or working experience on statistical packages, preferably Apteco FastStats or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and for general enquiries - managing the everyday admin — phone calls, emails, and unexpected (sometimes bizarre!) requests — with sensitivity and efficiency, filtering out what doesn’t need to reach senior staff.

·Collate and format reports and presentations for funders and the board, using content provided by the team — ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand.

·Support team leads in building relationships with local businesses to increase community engagement and secure corporate support.

·Produce regular newsletters and updates for LGP’s website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, X), using tools like Canva to create engaging, on-brand content.

·Contribute to the creation and delivery of a wider communications and publicity strategy.

Essential Qualities

•Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade A–C (or equivalent), including English and Maths

•At least 2 years’ experience in community engagement, project coordination, or similar roles

•High level of IT competency, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office

The Role

The Careers Adviser will travel across Kent, Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent Regions to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required. 

Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.

You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.

We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.

Wiltshire Music Centre is looking for a Head of Finance to drive financial strategy, ensure robust financial management, and provide clear insight to support decision-making across all areas of activity of our music and education venue. This role sits on our Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis
• Produce quarterly finance reports and manage month end processes and reports
• Oversee preparation of the annual statutory accounts and audit
• Maintain a clear reserves policy and monitor cash flow
• Administer finances raised through fundraising campaigns, donations, sponsorship and grants, and claim back Gift Aid from HMRC
• Prepare and process VAT returns, handling partial exemption when applicable
• Be the first point of contact for any HMRC query

2. Budgeting & Strategy

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for strategic planning and fundraising bids
• Support the Executive Director and trustees in scenario planning and long-term forecasting
• Advise on risk management and internal controls

3. Operations & Systems

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations (invoicing, payments, payroll, expenses, reconciliations)
• Maintain accurate event and project accounts, reconciling Box Office data to financial systems
• Ensure efficient provision and use of merchant services and card payment solutions
• Manage and improve financial systems e.g. Sage
• Work closely with Executive Director to track restricted and unrestricted funds

Essential

• Professional qualification (or part-qualified) such as ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA, or equivalent
• Strong financial and accounting experience within a Finance Department covering all relevant functions
• Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Charity SORP and statutory charitable reporting and accounts preparation.
• Technical knowledge of tax matters (VAT and PAYE).
• Experience of managing VAT and gift aid for a charity.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in multi-agency working and building strong partnerships.
• Knowledgeable about young people’s substance misuse, safeguarding, and harm reduction.
• Skilled in delivering education programmes and managing staff or volunteers.
• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). 
• You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.

About the role and you

We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.

This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:

• Data analysis

• Data security and compliance

The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work. Job Summary for Evaluation and Evidence Specialist

This role forms a key part of a new Strategy & Insight Team at Bowel Cancer UK, which seeks to build core capabilities to enable us to be as effective as we can be for people affected by bowel cancer. The Evaluation and Evidence Specialist will be an internal leader driving a step-change in the way we understand and articulate our impact, as well as how we use evidence in our work. You will be responsible for delivering evaluations of high-priority activities, as well as supporting other teams to evaluate the impact of their area. You will drive a cultural shift in evidence-based decision making where the charity begins to move from reacting to evidence to proactively generating its own evidence. You will ensure that insight, evidence and impact are delivered in a useful way to colleagues to support planning, decisions, income generation and communications.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a step-change in the way Bowel Cancer UK approaches evaluation, impact, and evidence.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for Bowel Cancer UK’s high-priority programmes and projects, ensuring that they can demonstrate the impact of our work.
• Develop, maintain and renew a set of compelling impact statements that support Bowel Cancer UK’s brand and meets the needs of other teams in engaging their key audiences.
• Establish a programme of routine evaluation for key ongoing activities across the charity, which can demonstrate effectiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Proactively provide analysis of internal and external evidence sources to deliver meaningful insight for the organisation.
• Support teams to identify the evidence they require, including checking to ensure evidence is used consistently and robustly.
• Develop our capability in how evidence is presented to different audiences, including through data visualisation.
• Develop and maintain a central repository for evaluation and key evidence for the organisation to use.
• Identify gaps in evaluation and evidence and develop plans for how these can be addressed.
• Provide training and development opportunities to colleagues to upskill on the best approaches to evaluation and evidence.
