Purpose of the job

Key responsibilities
Support the Corporate Partnerships team to secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets, including funding for outdoor learning.
Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. networking at events, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
Lead on the completion of the due diligence process for new partnership opportunities.
Support the development of warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth
With the support of the Corporate Partnerships Team, develop corporate bids, budgets and proposals, managing the process across different teams, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support on the creation and presentation of high quality, persuasive funding bids to C-suite audiences and senior stakeholders
Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and recognised, working closely with the finance team
Ensure that the CRM is up to date and accurate at all times, including monthly updates of the pipeline report.
Support the Corporate team to keep up to date with trends, research and data on fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping to inform long-term strategy.
Experience we're after
Experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role.
Proven track record of corporate partnerships fundraising/ securing sales targets from new organisations
Experience of working in a busy and deadline-driven environment and achieving ambitious targets
Experience negotiating, pitching and presenting to senior (C-suite) internal and external stakeholders
Experience of using a donor database/ CRM system (eg. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)

We are seeking an expert and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our ambitious finance team during an exciting period of financial transformation across a £25m trade union and two associated charities. As part of our new finance strategy, we are embedding long term planning and modelling across the organisation during a time of significant change. We are designing and rolling out sophisticated reporting and analysis, working directly with the Leadership Team on high profile finance transformation projects. With a new finance system in place and more systems development in progress we need you to maximise these products to improve our financial analysis, long-term modelling and planning and build financial confidence and literacy at all levels.
As the FP&A Manager, you will lead on business partnering across the organisation and our two associated charities. You will lead on budgeting, forecasting and business modelling, to support the organisation to maximise strategic impact and minimise risk.
With excellent modelling, people management and communication skills, you will lead all organisational financial reporting and presentations, improve and roll out new analysis and dashboards and lead long term planning projects, whilst continually reviewing the wider business environment to identify any potential opportunities and threats.

As a Executive Support Team Lead at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will:
Lead, coach and develop the Business Support Coordinator and Invoicing & Billing Analyst, overseeing workload planning, performance management, recruitment, onboarding and ensuring effective service coverage across the organisation.

Proven experience in business operations, office management, business support or financial administration, including responsibility for leading and developing teams.

About the Role
The key objective of this role is to support Trustees and the Senior Leadership Team with strategic development and income growth, by identifying opportunities, presenting business cases, leading on tendering activity, and project mobilisation. Building strong relationships with external commissioners and funders is also key to this post.
This is a critical role for the organisation, at a time when we are actively seeking to grow existing and new services. You will have the opportunity to inform the charity’s future development, and to build relationships with key external stakeholders including local authority commissioners.
Applicants should have
Education to A level standard, or equivalent.
Experience of leading business development activity within the non-profit sector.
Strong track record of making recommendations about income growth opportunities to senior management and/or at a Board level
Experience of the commissioning landscape in children’s / 16+ residential/ fostering services
Experience of leading external stakeholder engagement at a senior level
People Management experience and working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Strong business plan, tenders and bids writing skills.
Ability to build effective working relationships with commissioners and deliver effective presentations.
Analytical skills - the ability to analyse financial & statistical data to inform decision-making.

About PeacePlus Nature
PeacePlus Nature is an ambitious €20.8 million programme that brings together nine partners to tackle the decline in priority species and habitats in Northern Ireland, and the border counties of Ireland.
The project, supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), will work to restore blanket bog, lowland wet grassland and limestone grassland and priority species from breeding waders to Marsh Fritillary Butterfly.
RSPB NI in partnership with BirdWatch Ireland, Butterfly Conservation, Monaghan County Council, River Blackwater Catchment Trust, Truagh Spirit, Lough Neagh Partnership, NI Water and An Taisce - The National Trust for Ireland, will work to deliver this.
