The Role

Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.

The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.

Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

 1. Strategy Development and Income Generation

● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships),  aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.

● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations,  high net worth individuals and individual giving.

● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.

● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.

2. Systems and Process Improvement

● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system. 

● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.

3. Relationship Management and Stewardship

● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.

● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.

● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give. 

4. Events and Engagement

● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.

● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.

● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work. 

5. Reporting and Evaluation

● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.

● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.

● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

6. Team Collaboration

● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.

● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations). 

● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.

● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.

● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.

● Line management of volunteers as required.

Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

Seldom but occasional evening and weekend work may be required.Size of Wales has a flexible working policy.

1. Experience of working with corporations and/or businesses, approaching, building relationships and stewarding. 
2.  Experience developing or contributing to fundraising or income‑generation strategies, including identifying and prioritising new funding opportunities.

The Fundraising and Partnerships Assistant will support the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the wider Fundraising Team to deliver and develop our engaging programme of events, and exceptional supporter care and stewardship.

Key responsibilities

•  Provide excellent customer care to supporters, community groups, team, and volunteers.
•  Plan logistics, and delivery of events like the Bath Half Marathon.
•  Build strong relationships across the charity to deliver events and respond to queries.
•  Deliver engaging communications to enhance supporter experience.
•  Co-ordinate and deliver tours of the BCDH, including animal care demonstrations.
•  Support our incredible Volunteer Community Fundraising groups to meet income targets.
•  Manage income processing, coding and reconciliation of donations.
•  Ensure supporter data is securely managed in line with GDPR.

We are now looking for a highly organised, creative and proactive Project Co-ordinator to help accelerate our impact.

The Role

Working closely with the Founder, this role will support the development of artist partnerships, ensure exceptional supporter experience, strengthen digital presence, and help launch a new philanthropic patron network. You will be at the heart of our operations - making sure projects run smoothly and helping Migrate Art scale its mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media & Digital Engagement

• Create engaging, visually compelling content across Instagram and other platforms
• Manage and grow Migrate Art’s social media following
• Plan and deliver digital campaigns to drive sales and awareness
• Monitor analytics and adapt strategies accordingly

2. Order Processing & Post-Sales Support

• Manage purchase-to-delivery operations for artworks and limited editions
• Liaise with customers to arrange framing, delivery, and payment
• Ensure an exceptional supporter experience from sale to receipt

3. Patron Scheme Development

• Support the design and launch of a new philanthropic patron scheme
• Manage communications with potential patrons
• Coordinate events, stewardship touches, and annual renewal processes

4. Artist Asset & Project Support

• Prepare proofs of images for artist approval
• Manage sign-off processes and production timelines
• Act as a key point of contact for participating artists and studios
• Free up Founder time by coordinating follow-up tasks after commitments are secured

Person Specification

Essential

• Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Interest in working in the arts, charity, creative or social impact sectors
• Interest in managing social media platforms in a professional or organisational capacity
• Creative eye for design, presentation, and brand consistency
• Comfortable speaking with high-profile artists, partners, and supporters
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative in a small-team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately

Desirable

• Knowledge of e-commerce, CRM tools, or digital marketing platforms
• Experience managing events or supporter networks
• Ability to use design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite)

Salary: £48,750 per annum (inclusive of £3,990 South East weighting)

Location: Hybrid: need to be available to work from London Office and occasional national travel

Working hours: Full time: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Annual leave: 30 days plus statuatory bank holidays (if full time). All Women in Prison staff also receive an additional 3 days of leave between Christmas and New Year.

Pension scheme: Women in Prison provides an auto-enrolment pension scheme with 5% contributions from the employer and 3% from the employee.

Job purpose

This role will lead and coordinate Women in Prisons’ external communications, platforming the voice of women with lived experience of the criminal justice system to raise the organisation’s public profile and awareness of the criminalisation of women.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Lead and develop comprehensive communications strategies to raise WIP’s profile for influencing, fundraising and impact and that align with our vision and mission.
2. Build public engagement and awareness, leading on campaign development and delivery
3. Oversee the production of Women in Prison’s publications.
4. Platform the voice of women with lived experience of the criminal justice system in all external communications.
5. Manage WIP’s Spokesperson network
6. Develop, build and contribute to high quality and authentic partnerships and relationships with stakeholders including journalists.
7. To be a member of the extended leadership of Women in Prison, modelling feminist leadership, anti-oppression and empowering, values-led, collective leadership for the organisation.
