As a Fundraising Systems Executive, you will play a key role in embedding our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, helping fundraising teams get the most out of our new systems. You will be part of a newly formed Technology team of developers, testers, and product specialists, working closely with brilliant colleagues to improve processes, manage donor data, and deliver innovative solutions.

This role suits someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can support end users with technical issues and requests while managing multiple initiatives with ease.

You will need an understanding of fundraising processes and donor management, experience with CRM systems like Dynamics 365, familiarity with campaign management and reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI, and ideally a background in application support or not-for-profit organisations.

You’ll enjoy the variety of moving between reactive support and proactive delivery, helping shape the future of our fundraising systems while working alongside a clever and supportive team.

About the Role:

You will provide high quality support to all victims and witnesses of crime and Anti-Social Behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also you will contribute to cover for the Helpline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for service users referred in to the service, completing comprehensive impact and risks assessments using agreed processes and a tailoring the response to each individual's needs.
• Manage a caseload of service users who require more immediate and short term interventions, referring on those with more long term needs either internally or externally.
• Develop support plans where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service and provide accurate and timely performance information for internal and external use.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns including both child protection and vulnerable adult issues.
• Ensure that everyone is aware of their rights under the Victim's Code of Practice and the Witness Charter..
• Comply and keep up to date with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including data protection legislation, confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that all outcomes and Key Performance Measures are met relevant to the local contract.

Ideally you will have:

• Experience of delivering a service and working directly with service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting
• Experience of working in an outcomes focused service
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and the impact of crime
• Knowledge and understanding of Domestic Abuse processes and services
• Experience of engaging with vulnerable victims of crime who may have complex needs

 Your Role in Growing Our Forest Story

As the New National Forests Project Manager, you’ll lead on effective project management of centralised activities for the three new national forests.

Specifically, you’ll manage the centralised reporting of progress, targets and budgets, liaising closely with the programme managers for each new national forest.

Leading a high performing team:

•  Provide leadership, strategic direction and day to day operational management of the Education Quality Team; motivating, supporting and developing team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles as well as manage performance. 
• Develop succession plans and identify training and development requirements within the team. 
• Develop a proactive results driven culture within the team, ensuring agreed objectives and targets are delivered, whilst promoting a collaborative approach to working with internal departments.

Strategic Development

• Lead the Academic Representation’s System’s involvement with the University’s quality assurance processes.

• Lead the analysis of student feedback to advise and support student representatives to lobby and influence the University’s policies, procedures and practice. 
• Lead the promotion of the service within UAL, building relationships with relevant stakeholders and making it easy for staff and students to understand the purpose of the team and its work. 

Financial & Resource responsibility

• Manage a substantial Education Quality Team budget, being responsible for resources that are allocated to the department and ensuring these are effectively managed and controlled.
• Review and establish processes, systems and policies and where appropriate standard procedures for activities to maximise efficiency, ensure deadlines are met and to ensure a positive return on investment.

 Oversight & development of Academic Representation

• Manage and support Education Quality Coordinators to deliver Arts SU’s academic representation systems bringing support for representatives and innovation around student engagement. 
• Provide day-to-day management of our academic representation system, including managing relationships with UAL staff who work on this system in Colleges, Schools and Academic Quality. 
• Work to further develop our partnership with the University to establish the Education Quality Team as expert practitioners and a source of good practice on student engagement, representation, and co-production. 
• Work in partnership with staff and elected officers to deliver a holistic and high-quality academic representation system, including managing the election, training, year-round engagement and development of academic representatives and other related roles as relevant. 
• Work closely with colleagues to support and deliver successful SU elections and awards events. 

Policy & Officer support

• Lead the Education Quality Team’s work in providing comprehensive policy support to Arts SU’s Full-time Officers and School Representatives on education issues and developing effective lobbying strategies to influence the policies that impact students’ lives. 
• Support engagement in College committees and working groups by maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of representatives and staff committee responsibilities, accompanying representatives where appropriate and coordinating a system for committee briefing and de-briefing. 
• Work with colleagues to deliver high profile campaigns based on evidence and insights. 
• Work with the wider team to develop relationships with academic societies, and to develop their ability to support student representation and engagement. 
• Provide regular and structured reports or presentations to colleagues to support strategic decision making throughout Arts SU.

Over the past two and a half years, the wellbeing provision at Freedom from Torture has evolved considerably through the adoption of a systemic, trauma-informed approach. This approach recognises wellbeing as a shared organisational and individual responsibility, taking into account the complex interplay of systems, relationships, and environmental factors that shape wellbeing.

The post holder will help lead on the development of all aspects of Freedom from Torture’s wellbeing strategy. It will range from advising senior leaders on organisational decisions impacting wellbeing, designing and recommending service delivery initiatives, creating training products and systematically evaluating the efficacy of the wellbeing approach.

Freedom from Torture’s external presence in the wellbeing sphere, amongst refugee sector organisations, is growing from strength to strength. The postholder will need to keep the momentum, sharing best practice across the sector.

About You​

The successful candidate will have experience in leading wellbeing initiatives effectively, have a strong understanding of how wellbeing fits in with a Human Rights organisation and possess knowledge of what excellent wellbeing practice includes within organisations directly supporting traumatised individuals and families.

They will demonstrate confidence in driving organisation-wide engagement with wellbeing initiatives, fostering open dialogue on sensitive issues, and translating emerging research and best practice into meaningful action across a multidisciplinary environment.

About the role

We’re looking for a Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) with experience of designing and embedding organisational DEIB strategies and leading culture change at a senior level to join our CEO Office.

This is a pivotal leadership role at a critical moment in our DEIB journey. You will lead the development of our next DEIB strategy, building on our ‘Brave, Not Perfect’ commitments and driving forward meaningful, measurable change across the organisation.
