Role Overview
Reporting to the Trusts Manager, the postholder will be responsible for maximizing income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, building and nurturing elationships and inspiring long-term support and sustainable income in line with the organisational strategy.
About You
This is a great role for someone with previous experience of Trust Fundraising. You’ll have first class communication skills to enable you to quickly build solid, strong relationships both face to face and over the telephone. Excellent writing skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and CRM experience. In these challenging times you’ll need to channel your creative skills to develop exciting stewardship plans.
In this role you will need:
· Previous experience of Trust Fundraising with a strong track record of success and meeting targets
· Excellent writing skills, with the ability to take complex material and translate into visually appealing proposals.
· Experience of organising or helping to organise stewardship events.
· Experience of working with CRM databases.
· Target driven with experience of budgeting and financial management

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. There is a requirement for you to attend a minimum of 12 in person days a year, including two Directorate meetings and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London. In addition there will be a requirement to attend team and donor meetings in person as required.

At Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) we champion animal welfare around the world. We send vets where they are needed most, provide expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and ship urgent aid supplies worldwide, every day of the year.
We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi and the Galápagos Islands. We also work on strategic one health projects such as rabies elimination campaigns with Governments and NGOs all over the world. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease. Since the project began, over seven million dogs have been vaccinated against rabies and over 13 million children have been educated in rabies prevention, protecting the lives of people and animals.
Last year, WVS helped an animal every 14 seconds. We trained over 4,800 vets, deployed teams of vets all over the world, and sent over 1,700 parcels of veterinary supplies to 261 charities in 71 countries.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR).
- Support in the review of the effectiveness of our current CRM and the potential search for an alternative platform if required.
- Work with the Marketing team to design data-driven supporter journeys and targeting strategies.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance predictive analytics.
- Support colleagues across the charity in using CRM data effectively and responsibly.
- Explore and test AI tools and platforms to streamline data analysis and campaign performance tracking.

Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. This role supports the special projects work with the CEO and will work with the senior team to lead on the income and visibility opportunities that unlock our delivery for our three-year strategy.
Your Role’s Purpose
Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. We are recruiting for a Fundraising Development Manager to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a fixed-term, maternity cover contract for 12 months with an ideal start date in April 2026. This is a home-based role, though you will be required to occasionally travel into London (once a month maximum).
As Fundraising Development Manager, your role will be vital to the success of Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising and engagement activities which are led and supported by our Development boards. You will play an important part in the delivery of our Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign, a movement in partnership with senior level supporters from the insurance industry. This award-winning campaign has raise £12million to date and set a target to reach £20million by 2030 to fund projects that will accelerate progress towards beating dementia - while helping raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Society and increase understanding of the UK’s biggest killer.
You will be responsible for securing and maximising income from multiple channels, including our annual flagship industry fundraising event – Insurance Day for Dementia. You will support individual and team high value fundraising challenges, and lead communications activity with these influential supporters and their sector, utilising relationships with industry media and tools including LinkedIn.
To achieve success, you will manage relationships with insurance industry professionals at the highest levels. You will also support (where required) on activities through Sport United Against Dementia (SUAD), our comparable campaign led by some of the most senior figures in the world of sport. This may include developing tools for industry supporters and activities or supporting activation opportunities at exciting sporting events. Ultimately, this role will give you the chance to use your skills to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.

About you

Role Description
