About the role:The Advancement Division is seeking a Head of Prospect Development for a fixed term contract maternity cover with technical expertise, sound judgment, political acuity, and collaborative interpersonal skills to join their ambitious team, and to lead the prospect development strategy and implementation for Imperial College London.
What you would be doing:The Head of Prospect Development is integral to the University’s ambitious fundraising and alumni engagement campaign, which is in its quiet phase. They will lead the prospect development strategy and its implementation for the Division. They will develop and maintain a comprehensive and innovative programme of prospect identification (including key influencers and connectors), research and analysis, and tracking, playing a key role in building a strong base of support to enable the success of a growing fundraising programme. They will also oversee the ethical screening and gift acceptance process within the Division. Working closely with the Founder & CEO, COO and CPO, you will shape how more people discover, experience and support our work with young people from marginalised communities.
You will oversee communications and marketing, strengthen Symphony’s brand and public voice, and grow audiences for our events, films, podcasts and digital content. You will also develop corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships and regular giving, while increasing the reach and income potential of Symphony Studios and our live, digital and community activities.
This hands-on strategic role is suited to an entrepreneurial builder with senior experience in marketing, communications, partnerships or income generation, and a strong record of growing audiences and securing support.
This is a freelance role for four days per week, offered through an initial six-month service-level agreement. It is hybrid, with three days per week onsite working at Symphony Studios in Tulse Hill.

Job Purpose
We are looking for a fundraising specialist with the abilities and ambition to grow our charitable income generation and take ANT to our next level of impact.
Our current fundraising strategy is focused around corporate partnerships, individual giving campaigns (in particular crowdfunders where we have a strong track record), philanthropists and trusts and foundations.
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience and skillsets in areas that would complement and build on existing strengths and experience in the team; generating new leads in relationship fundraising context, developing and diversifying our individual giving offering and building excellent stewardship journeys.
You will help grow out impact by inspiring and influencing others to follow us in our ambitious plans for change.
