The role
The Innovation team at Leadership Skills Foundation is responsible for the design and evaluation of learning programmes that give young people life‑changing skill development and leadership opportunities. As Innovation Officer you will provide support to our Innovation Leads across learning development, visual design, and research activities.
This role is ideal for a creative all-rounder. You don’t need to be an expert in all areas on day one. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who can grow into the role and is energised by the idea of wearing multiple hats to help young people succeed.

What you’ll do
Learning development
Work collaboratively to help create and test new learning programmes, and continuously improve our range of Awards and Qualifications based on research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme.
Support the creation, editing and quality-checking of course content and materials, such as Learner Evidence Records and tutor guidance documents.
Support digital learning activity, including content creation, managing online platforms and testing user experience.
Visual design and content
Create engaging visual designs for use in course materials and impact reporting, ensuring designs are always accessible and on brand.
Manage our library of learning resources, ensuring designs are reviewed regularly and improved based on feedback and research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme.
Research and evaluation
Play a supporting role organising and conducting research interviews, observations, surveys and focus groups.
Assist with data collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative insights.
Support the preparation of engaging impact reports and insight summaries.

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the North West region, which include Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Chesire. There will be occasional travel around the North West and you may be required to travel at short notice for face to face meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the North West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes a Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Support Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the North West would be valuable.

One of the nine members of the Coram group, Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) is the UK’s specialist centre for children’s rights in education, immigration, community care and family law, and provides significant international legal systems consultancy. The centre is located on the Coram Campus in central London with a base in Colchester. We champion access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation primarily under legal aid contract. Our Policy and Practice Change team promotes practice change through training and capacity building to professionals and secures systems change through research, policy and advocacy.
About the role
This role will coordinate, oversee and supervise the Legal Practice Unit’s legal aid billing operations. Through systematic and efficient management, the post-holder will play an important role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability. Working with the Managing Director of Legal Practice, the Heads of Department and Coram’s central finance team, the key objective of the role is to help maximise the unit’s legal aid billing in controlled work, certificated work and inter partes costs. It will also oversee private fees billing. The post-holder will oversee the smooth running of legal aid billing. In this role, the post-holder will work very closely with legal, operations and administrative staff. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who will support the role with grant fund management and overall accounting functions for CCLC. The post-holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children’s Rights and department heads in the successful maintenance of our relationship with the Legal Aid Agency.
The role would suit a legal aid billing professional with significant direct hands on experience of a range of types of civil legal aid billing (including controlled and certificated work) and an understanding of the challenges of legal aid. The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising the work of others but support and training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is interested in developing into management, is a proactive problem solver, is highly organised and able to maintain oversight over different workstreams ensuring progress. In addition to legal aid experience, they will need an aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems. They will be well supported through training, an enthusiastic and competent junior billing team, the central finance team and an outsourced legal cashiering company, as well as a friendly and collaborative management team including the Managing Director and the Heads of practice areas.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the billing team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period and there will be flexibility over how the working hours days will be spread across the week (within working hours). The team are mostly based in the London office and with one billing team member in Colchester so the postholder may require some occasional travel.

Thank you for your interest in the role of Interim CEO for Kent Sexual Assault & Abuse Service (KSAAS). This is a 6-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has offered sexual violence services in East Kent since 1993 and we offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives of in Kent & Medway . KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved By Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services that we offer to our survivors.
KSAAS operates Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) services and joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) services for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse. We also offer trauma focused therapeutic counselling services for children, adolescents and adults and these services are accessible through various hubs across Kent & Medway. Peer support groups and family advocacy services are available to support families when there has been an occurrence of sexual abuse experienced by one or more family members and our services are supported and informed by the ‘Kick Back’ group, who are survivors of sexual violence who offer help, support and advice to other survivors and inform our service development. We also have a range of volunteers who support us with various aspects of the service provision.
In addition to providing support and therapeutic services, a key function of the organisation is to robustly challenge the societal values, beliefs and behaviour which contribute to sexual violence, through proactive projects that aim to raise awareness, delivery of information sessions in educational institutions, delivery of NOCN accredited Rape and Sexual Abuse training, ongoing activism, challenging attitudes we encounter as part of our work with survivors, focused campaigns and participation in research focused on sexual violence.
In the last year, we worked with > 6000 survivors in our face-to-face services and specialist sexual violence Helpline service and in April 2026 we extended our provision and scope and have been commissioned to be the main provider of ISVA and Therapeutic Support services across Kent & Medway, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and innovative woman who is driven by feminist values to be the figurehead of our organisation, providing empowering leadership to the team, strategic oversight of the organisation and to ensure an outstanding service for all survivors of sexual violence. Strategic Leadership
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the issues faced by women and girls who are subjected violence and the staff who support them within the service

Legality and Governance
• Accountable for organisational compliance with general legal obligations, Charity Commission regulations, membership obligations & safeguarding responsibilities.

• Responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all staff, volunteers and service users within KSAAS.

To be eligible for this role, you need to evidence the following knowledge, skills and experience, at least in part:
• A successful track record of leadership within an organisation of comparable complexity or across a significant area of work, including strategic, financial and operational planning.
• Experience of successful financial management of a complex budget and oversight of income generation from a variety of sources.
• A track record of successfully managing and leading people who work across a range of sites and an understanding of the challenges faced by staff working with sexual violence survivors
• Ability to think innovatively, take measured risks and manage an organisation and staff through period of significant change
• Experience of developing & maintaining effective networks with local government, statutory and other voluntary organisations.
• Experience of successful partnership working, such as developing and maintaining relationships with a range of organisations and funders.
• Experience at senior level of successful financial management, including responsibility for significant complex budgets.
• Experience of working with a variety of media to successfully promote an organisation or issue.
• An understanding of the gendered nature of sexual violence and abuse, its causes and consequences and commitment to challenging injustice, violence and abuse, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and bias in a non-confrontational way, aligned to the values of the organisation.
• Experience of managing support services and a clear understanding of trauma and vicarious trauma and appropriate wellbeing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery and production
· Develop high‑quality content across formats (e.g., explainers, briefings, blogs, supporter materials, video and digital assets) to support research, impact, policy and partnership storytelling.
· Produce accurate, engaging content for corporate and philanthropic partnerships, including supporter‑facing materials and impact stories.
· Contribute to major brand and campaign moments (e.g., World Alzheimer’s Month) through ideas, drafting and coordinated delivery.

Research and information support
· Gather and verify information from colleagues, partners and subject‑matter experts to ensure clarity and evidence‑based messaging.
· Translate complex information (e.g., research, policy or partnership updates) into clear, audience‑appropriate drafts and outlines.
· Support development of evergreen content frameworks and thematic content packages for campaigns and partnerships.
· Use audience insight and performance learnings to inform content development.
Cross‑Team collaboration
· Work collaboratively across Communications — including Social Media, Policy, Corporate Partnerships, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Research Communications and Digital — to meet shared content needs.
· Contribute content expertise into cross‑team planning to support integrated communications activity.
Administration, planning and coordination
· Maintain and update content across ARUK platforms (ResourceSpace, News & Views), ensuring information is accurate, current and well‑organised.
· Use SEO principles and performance data to shape content recommendations, working with the Content Manager and Metrics & Insights team to monitor KPIs and identify optimisation opportunities.
· Support improvements to content processes and workflows across the team.
· Assist with project coordination, helping manage timelines, track progress and support delivery within agreed budgets.
Quality, and tone
· Ensure content is accurate, accessible and aligned with ARUK’s brand, tone of voice, editorial and ethical standards.

About the Service
Our Nightlight Service (Cafés, Helpline, 24/7 Crisis House and Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis centres, crisis cafes and a weekend Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.
As a member of our team you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach as to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.
