About the role
Kinship Connected is an evidence-informed 6-month intervention for kinship carers. It is delivered in the home and in the community. As a Kinship Family Worker for Kinship Connected, you will deliver our flagship programme to families in Surrey. You will provide intensive one-to-one support to kinship carers to empower them to become resilient, well informed and equipped with a strong support network to help them care for the children in their care. You will help them to navigate their local ecosystems and support them to unlock community assets and support.
Alongside this, you will play a key role in the delivery of Kinship’s Ready Programme in Surrey, ensuring kinship carers are supported to access and engage with workshops and wider kinship services that meet their needs. The Kinship Ready programme is designed to support prospective and new kinship carers understand their journey to becoming Special Guardians.
You will be committed to the work of Kinship, passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable families, and you will have proven experience of working with families, particularly those in more disadvantaged circumstances.
You’ll bring excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and collaboratively with partners, both externally and internally.
Key responsibilities:
One-to-one support
You will provide intensive one-to-one support, directly to kinship carers for up to six-months working within the Kinship Connected delivery model. This may include, but is not limited to:
- 1:1 emotional support
- Advocacy support in meetings
- Supporting kinship carers to attend a peer support group
- Liaising with local organisations that can offer specialised support and training
- Liaising with schools or other organisations
- Supporting kinship carers with the behaviour of the child/ children in their care
- Signposting to other support services
- Grants – support with grant application for essential items and holiday breaks
- Setting up and facilitating a monthly support group within your commissioned area
- Signposting carers to Kinship training opportunities or organising targeted training workshops within your LA
Ready Programme delivery and coordination
As part of your role, you will support the effective delivery of Kinship’s Ready Workshops, working closely with the internal colleagues and the local authority. Responsibilities include:
- Booking kinship carers onto Ready workshops and supporting their engagement throughout the programme
- Registering carers via scheduled phone calls, ensuring they understand the programme and feel supported to attend
- Identifying and responding to any additional needs carers may have, including reasonable adjustments, access needs or emotional support, and signposting appropriately
- Referring carers to other Kinship services such as Kinship’s Advice service, Peer to Peer and Training and Support
- Occasionally assisting with the delivery of Ready Programme workshops online
- Completing administrative tasks related to the programme, including registering attendance, maintaining accurate participant records and updating internal systems
- Collating feedback, monitoring outcomes and gathering other relevant data to support evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement of the Ready Programme

· Experience of family work and undertaking needs assessments both in person and remotely

· Experience of working with statutory, voluntary and community networks and the ability to represent the organisation to external stakeholders.

Knowledge, skills and understanding
- Knowledge and understanding of kinship care and the ability to learn quickly about the regulations and guidance relating to special guardians.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of high-level administrative work and experience of working with a case management system to record interventions.
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, in line with Kinship policies and GDPR
- IT skills and experience, particularly in Work, Excel, and CRM’s such as Salesforce
- Ability to work on your own initiative and manage your diary
- The ability to manage a complex and varied workload to successfully meet project deadlines and KPI’s.
- Right to work in the UK and a Full, clean driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- Personal experience of kinship care
- Experience in writing copy, case studies and newsletter articles as well as shorter reports
- Experience of using Salesforce database or similar
- Knowledge and awareness of the National Kinship Care strategy for England 2024

As the Young Women and Girls Practitioner (1:1), you will take young women and girls through a tailored programme of activities, supporting skills development and critical thinking. About the Role

Main Purpose Of Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, supporting two vital services run in partnership with Homeless Oxfordshire and Connection Support. The role covers both our Step Down provision—designed for individuals discharged from hospital under the Discharge to Assess model—and our service at Mawle Court, which provides temporary accommodation and support for people with complex needs, including those preparing for more independent living or in need of emergency provision. Main Areas Of Responsibility:
- To proactively and dynamically assess, monitor, manage and respond to risk for individuals and in the service.

About the Role
As a Senior Community Link Worker, you will have a developmental role as well as providing on-going support. You will be responsible for developing positive, working relationships between the Community Link Worker team, Primary Care and local community resources. You will work to ensure that people referred from Primary Care to the Community Link Worker service benefit from community resources which can contribute to improvement of their mental and physical health outcomes. You will contribute to community development in your local area of work by working with community organisations
You will carry case loads for on-going work with specific individuals for developing and reviewing personal support plans, and provide oversight of personal support plans designed and implemented by Community Link Workers. Working closely with Community Link Workers in a guidance and/or support and supervision role, you will promote good working practice and staff development.

Overall Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to manage great quality, high impact marketing, brand and communications to support our funding, fundraising and supporter goals liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
To effectively project manage the marketing and communications outputs across one or more of our three charity brands: Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Evelina London Children’s Charity and Guy’s Cancer Charity - amplifying our need for charitable funds and the impact of these for the patients, families and staff of Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust.
- Project manage a number of marketing, design and communications activities from brief to evaluation that support the delivery of our ambitious ten year fundraising plan

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to lead the development of our Affected Others service, supporting children, young people (CYP), and families impacted by familial substance misuse. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a service that makes a real difference in breaking cycles of harm and building resilience.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £32,002.35- £34,214.20*
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About the Role
As the lead for this specialist area, you will:
- Drive the design and delivery of innovative interventions for children, young people and families affected by substance misuse.
- Develop group programmes, resources, and training to strengthen whole-family approaches.
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholder such as adult substance misuse services, schools, children’s services, and health professionals to ensure seamless referral pathways.
- Develop and deliver training and consultation to external partners and stakeholders on the issues facing young people affected by substance misuse of others.
- Champion safeguarding and best practice across the service.
- Hold a caseload of complex and high-risk cases involving children, young people, and families, delivering whole-family support, including parenting programmes and harm reduction strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate service impact, ensuring continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in working with families facing multiple risk factors, including parental substance misuse.
- Skilled in delivering 1:1 and group interventions and developing new programmes.
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- A strong communicator and collaborator, able to influence and lead within multi-agency settings.
- You will need to work flexibly countywide across Buckinghamshire so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car.
