We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our teams across Lansworth House and Gareth Stacey House, working flexibly between both sites to ensure young people are safe.

You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. Chapter One is a growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

Our Brand and Marketing team is looking for a creative, strategic, and proactive B2B Marketing Manager (12-month fixed-term contract – maternity cover) to help grow awareness of the Trust among key delivery and referral partners, ultimately increasing engagement with young people.

Working as part of a team of managers, you will lead the development and delivery of targeted marketing strategies that strengthen our relationships with partners and position the Trust as a trusted and impactful organisation within the sector. Your work will focus on increasing awareness of our services through partner networks, using a blend of digital and traditional channels to reach professionals who support young people.

You will collaborate closely with our in-house creative services team to commission and review high-quality, partner-facing content, and use data and insight to continuously improve performance. You will also play a key role in identifying new opportunities to grow and deepen partnerships, ensuring our approach aligns with and supports our EDI strategy.

This role is perfect for you if you are confident using a range of marketing skills, including digital channels and campaigns, to engage professional audiences and generate referrals. You will have a strong understanding of the B2B marketing communications mix, knowing how to select the right channels and messages to influence and motivate partner organisations.

About the role:

'We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Merseyside and Cheshire Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Merseyside and Cheshire Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care

· Practiced in child protection, information sharing and the rules around data protection - you lead by example, drawing on your own professional experience and working within established guidelines

Part Time | Term Time Only | Somerset

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and community-minded PCV-licensed driver to join our Charity of I Can & I Am. We visit schools on board converted double decker buses working with children and young people across the South West in schools within an hour's drive of the Bath area. On board, we run cooking workshops in the specially converted downstairs of the bus and then workshops educating young people on self-belief in the comfortable seating area on the top deck of the bus.

This is a unique and rewarding role combining:

• driving our double decker bus to schools,
• helping support activities on board,
• assisting with setup and coordination,
• and being part of a small, supportive team.

This is not a standard commercial driving role and would particularly suit:

• semi-retired bus or coach drivers,
