Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Governance
- Develop and maintain an effective clinical governance framework that supports safe and high-quality care.
- Facilitate regular clinical governance meetings to discuss performance, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that clinical pathways and practices are aligned with best practice guidelines and evidence-based standards.
Patient Safety
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety across all services, promoting a culture of transparency and reporting.
- Implement and maintain the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), ensuring that learning from incidents is captured and shared.
- Monitor and report on patient safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring appropriate action plans are developed.
Clinical Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and manage clinical risks within the organisation, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Conduct regular reviews of incident reports and risk assessments to inform organisational learning and development.
- Oversee the management of serious incidents, ensuring thorough investigations and appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Quality Improvement
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
- Lead quality impact assessments for new initiatives or changes in practice, evaluating potential risks and benefits and manage the organisational governance in relation to these.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, including CQC regulations and national safety frameworks.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory changes and ensure organisational policies and practices reflect these updates.
- Coordinate and draft the annual organisation quality account.
Clinical Audit
- Design and implement a comprehensive clinical audit program that evaluates the quality of care and compliance with clinical standards.

Incident Management
- Oversee the incident management process, ensuring that incidents are reported, investigated, and learned from effectively.

Medicines Management
- Line manage the lead pharmacist and wider pharmacy team
- Oversee medicines management processes, ensuring compliance with best practices and safe medication administration.
Complaints and Patient Experience
- Manage the complaints process, ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately, and lessons learned are disseminated.
- Work to enhance patient experience through feedback mechanisms, ensuring that patient voices are heard and acted upon.

Purpose of Job

SHINE has over 15,000 members with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. This post will bring a real focus to the Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk area and will be an exciting opportunity to engage with members and develop and deliver the services we offer.
We work with members of all ages from our Little Stars aged between 0 – 12, young people are members of our FIRE project and we have established adult support. Working alongside our multi skilled, established team, you will be supporting members across all age groups and building on the great foundations already in place.
The role is home based but you will be required to attend clinic at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge on the first Friday of every month. You may also be required to cover other clinics, events in London and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area of Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk and occasionally across wider areas and nationally including meetings at our head office in Peterborough.

Summary:
The Supporter Partnerships Officer (SPO) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for new and existing supporters of London City Mission.
Purpose of the job:
As a key member of the Fundraising team, you will be the first point of contact for individuals and organisations who give to the charity; handling enquiries, processing donations given over the telephone, updating supporter records, nurturing long-term relationships and providing insight to other members of the fundraising team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-centred environment, enjoys providing outstanding supporter care, and is energised by working in a mission‑driven fundraising setting.
Your work ensures supporters feel valued, informed, and inspired to continue their journey with us. Conversations around personal faith, Biblical convictions around supporting gospel ministry and requests for prayer often form part of the dialogue between the SPO and supporters.
Key responsibilities:
Supporter care and engagement
- Be the first point of contact for supporters' (existing and new) enquiries by phone, email, letter, website and any other fundraising channels. Ensure they experience an excellent standard of response and experience.
- Be responsible for ensuring donations are thanked promptly and for establishing excellent standards of supporter care.
- You will look for opportunities to send stories and communications that show the Mission’s appreciation including leading on the LCM wide thank you events to Individual Giving supporters.
- Keep thank you letters up to date with new stories to show the impact of their donations.
- Respond to the cancellation of donations thanking the supporter for their gifts and ensure that the cancellation was planned.
Data and insights
- Ensure all supporter information and interactions are captured accurately, up to date and stored in the fundraising CRM in line with GDPR and organisational policies to allow LCM to maximise income. This includes creating new records, assist with managing online donation pages and communicate with supporters on communication preferences and gift aid.
- Run regular reports to track supporter engagement, retention, and income trends.
- Use insights to improve supporter stewardship and fundraising journeys.
Proactive fundraising support
- Identify opportunities to deepen supporter relationships, including upgrading gifts, promoting campaigns, or encouraging long term commitments.
- Support the delivery of fundraising appeals, events, and supporter journeys.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the fundraising team to deliver outstanding supporter experiences.
- Maximise income by ensuring gift aid declarations are correct and up to date giving supporters every opportunity to opt in.
Donation processing and administration
- Accurately set up new direct debits and Gift Aid declarations.
- During staff absence support the recording and reconciliation of donations if necessary.
Fundraising and supporter partnerships team
- Represent LCM at external events and conferences each year where the SPO will be expected to communicate LCM’s vision with a passion for and understanding of the gospel message, as well as share their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ.
- Provide support and take part in meetings, activities and events in the Fundraising and Supporter Partnerships Team.
- Fully participate in the spiritual life of the Mission including attending the annual week of prayer, the monthly Team Day and daily staff prayers.
This role is based in London City Mission office in Tower Bridge Road and will involve occasional UK travel.

Caxton Youth Organisation:
Caxton Youth Organisation is the only specialist youth club of its kind for learning disabled and autistic young people in Westminster aged 11 to 25. There is nowhere quite like Caxton Youth Club; that’s what the young people we work with and their families tell us, and we passionately believe it too.
Caxton has been around for 77 years, quite something for a small but mighty charity, and our longevity says so much about the importance of the services we provide to ensure young people with disabilities in Westminster are able to advance in their personal development, develop a sense of belonging in our community, and lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The majority of our work is delivered at our dedicated youth club in South Westminster. Our youth work team focus on young people’s social and emotional wellbeing, independence, employability, creating community and opportunities, social action and health & getting active. Pesticide Action Network UK (PAN UK) is the only charity in the UK focused solely on tackling the problems caused by pesticides and promoting safe and sustainable alternatives in agriculture, urban areas, homes and gardens. Our Head of Policy & Campaigns leads our work in the UK which aims to better protect both the environment and human health from pesticide harms. Through policy work, lobbying, research, media and strategic communications, we aim to influence a range of decision makers, from the UK government and devolved administrations to local councils and the country’s biggest supermarkets. As a multi-disciplinary professional membership organisation, we set clinical guidance and standards, provide training and lifelong education, and champion safe and effective sexual and reproductive healthcare across the life course for all.
Key tasks:
a. Stakeholder engagement:
- Lead CoSRH’s stakeholder engagement programme in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales - influencing policy debate, contributing to building internal capacity on devolved and regional issues, and in building key relationships.

Blues Foundation:
We are the charitable arm of Bedford Blues Rugby Club. We use the values of rugby and sport to change lives through interventions and programmes that support our local community. Our work aims to improve wellbeing, create inclusive opportunities, and develop skills in young people. Launched in April 2020, we deliver bespoke projects that are designed to support our target audiences and help young people tackle their personal challenges. Projects include our flagship Tackle LIFE programme, our ABILITY Blues disability sport programme, Be You programme, Rugby programmes and our Holiday Provision.
Role Overview:
Our Fundraising Manager will play a major part in significantly increasing our growth in fundraising activities, including corporate and individual giving, community events and support our strong relationships with local businesses, schools and clubs, increasing grassroots engagement. They will lead our restricted and unrestricted fundraising as we enter another exciting period of growth for our charity. The role will manage and implement a high-quality marketing plan to demonstrate our impact and promote our services. They will lead our events, maximising their potential fundraising potential and increase brand awareness. They will also build and support a network of volunteers and supporters/donors, communicating regularly with this audience. Acting as one of the main links with the club, the individual will be targeted with growing the supporting and coordinating the club’s community engagement through Foundation activities.
While this role is advertised as hybrid, it will mostly be office-based. That said, we’re open to discussing flexible arrangements for the right person.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop our fundraising Initiatives as part of the Foundation’s management and leadership team, successfully achieving fundraising targets to support our work.
- Maximise our fundraising potential, increasing both restricted and unrestricted funding, developing creative ideas to generate vital funds.
- Secure financial gifts from foundations, conducting prospective research, preparing funding proposals, and cultivating relationships with grant makers.
- Create new and nurture current partnerships with corporates, converting opportunities to our charity and drive sales through our events, packages and donations.
- Deliver high quality and well managed events that promote our brand and values, with a clear focus on generating income. This will include liaising with venues, suppliers, sponsors, donors etc.
- Lead and deliver a strategic marketing plan that promotes all elements of our work across a variety of platforms including social media and email.
- Support Bedford Blues and their league’s community team to activate both club-led and national engagement initiatives, ensuring the Foundation delivers on the club’s community strategy.

Job title: Project and Events Lead, Sector Connected Leaders Programme
Contract: Fixed term, 12 months, with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role, subject to funding and performance
Working pattern: 0.6 FTE, 3 days per week
Salary: £15,000 per annum (0.6 FTE, £25,000 FTE equivalent)
Annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays, pro rata. At 0.6 FTE this equates to 15 days annual leave plus bank holidays, calculated on a pro rata basis in line with NI policy.

Key Tasks
Programme and project delivery
- Plan and manage the end-to-end delivery of the 12-month pilot programme.
- Develop and maintain a delivery plan, milestones, risks and mitigations.

Events and learning delivery
- Design and deliver a structured programme of in person events, webinars, workshops and site visits.
- Coordinate venues, logistics, suppliers and facilitators.
Stakeholder management
