What you will be doing:
 
You will be providing support and assistance to the Little Bridge House and Regional Fundraising teams. You will be helping to research opportunities for new relationships and speaker engagement within the community, helping to maintain the existing fundraising groups, key fundraising opportunities and supporter donor care and development.
 
Working alongside members of the fundraising team, you will gain a better understanding of the various fundraising roles, including undertaking speaker training and assisting fundraisers, where needed, with giving appropriate talks and attending cheque presentations.
 
You will be required to support the area fundraisers in the research, approach and development of community partnerships.
 
The Successful Candidate:
 
You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with good organisation and communication skills and able to work to deadlines. You will be positive and solution focused and able to engage and be confident in social situations. A good working knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel and Outlook) is required for this role. A flexible approach to work is required as working hours will include evenings and weekends.

About the Role

• Support parishes in identifying grant sources and preparing strong applications.

Our Services Development team are responsible for: UK-wide service development and experience design, community development

Our Head of Services Development will be:

• leading the development and continuous improvement of our UK-wide and community-based services, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy.  And also working alongside our Digital Services Product Manager on all of our digital services.
• overseeing the full-service development lifecycle, using evidence to drive continuous improvement and ensuring that lived experience is embedded into design.

• significant experience of leading coproduction and service experience design, and ability to support others to deliver these activities.
• ability to lead organisational discussions and be an authoritative champion based on subject expertise (for coproduction, service development and innovation).
• experience of effectively implementing change and improvement across an organisation, and ability to drive continuous improvement across a department.
• experience of leading service development and managing the service lifecycle (including horizon scanning, research, coproduction, piloting and using monitoring and evaluation data to make improvements), ideally in a health or third sector setting.

• Confident managing senior stakeholders, developing strategy, and working across multiple income streams to grow voluntary income.
• A leadership style that combines strategic oversight with personal involvement, enabling you to manage high-value relationships directly when needed, especially with key donors.

Arts fundraising experience is not essential.

This role would suit an experienced, corporate and/or philanthropy fundraiser with well-developed relationship management skills. Someone who is excited by the opportunity of shaping, developing and elevating these important supporters for the charity.

Guts UK are open to applications from those looking to develop their expertise and will be fully supported, should they not have equal experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropy. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience across areas such as corporate prospecting, pitching and account management. 

Guts UK is a small charity with big ambition so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

Guts UK is the only charity that covers the digestive system from top to tail, including the gut, the liver and the pancreas. The charity focuses particularly on the conditions that have no other specific charity or voice - conditions that are underserved, such as pancreatitis, diverticular disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), childhood gut and liver disease, and digestive cancers. With their mission being to improve the lives of the millions of people affected by digestive conditions, they are looking for their first Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to help them reach that goal.

The Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and high net worth individuals with the propensity to donate significant sums. There is huge scope to develop both income streams at Guts UK, as this is the first dedicated position covering these income streams.

With some fantastic corporate partnerships in place already, there is great potential to build on the existing foundations and leverage those corporate partnerships to secure more ranging from transactional right up to transformational.

The philanthropy function has green shoots to nurture and develop. This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape this income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing donors with an incredible supporter experience.

Who are Guts UK looking for?

This role would suit an experienced, corporate and/or philanthropy fundraiser with well-developed relationship management skills. Someone who is excited by the opportunity of shaping, developing and elevating these important supporters for the charity.

Guts UK are open to applications from those looking to develop their expertise and will be fully supported, should they not have equal experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropy. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience across areas such as corporate prospecting, pitching and account management. 

Guts UK is a small charity with big ambition so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

Oasis Nurture

Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.

Oasis Nurture is in its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.

As a Teacher, you will be working with a maximum of six children supported by a key worker and a therapeutic practitioner. You will work alongside a therapeutic lead and a clinical lead.

In this role you will be:

· Working with the home school and parents/carers to understand the children’s needs and developing agreed goals for learning and emotional and social development

· Developing a basic curriculum for Key Stage 2 children for numeracy and literacy, related to their stage learning at their home school, so that they don’t fall behind.

· Providing a personalised, bespoke and restorative approach for each individual child to help address their challenges and fulfil their potential. 

· Maintaining clear and accurate records for individual children on the designated online systems and reporting back to the home school and parents/carers on the agreed goals

· You will also be working with the Therapeutic Lead to provide opportunities for mindful therapeutic care to remove barriers to learning and provide emotional support to access the curriculum. While this role requires primary teaching experience it also requires someone who has experience of working in trauma responsive ways and understands the therapeutic needs of children who struggle to engage.

Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families. Oasis Nurture is not a statutory provision and does not therefore follow teachers’ pay and conditions. Oasis offers all the usual employment benefits including sick pay and pension.

The Operations Manager is a new leadership position that will play a pivotal role in the delivery of FFLAG’s operations which span online, offline, and local group support for parents and carers of LGBT+ loved ones. We also want you to bring experience of fundraising to help ensure we stay financially secure for the long term.

About FFLAG

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity and is the UK’s longest established parent support charity in the LGBT+ sector. Our history began in the grassroots parent helplines of the 1960s, grew through the 1980’s and 90’s as we supported anxious parents and fought against the discrimination of Section 28, becoming a formally registered charity in 2000.

Our work sounds simple, but it is life changing. We help parents and families understand, accept and support their LGBT+ family members with love and pride.

We offer a range of support options spanning 121 online and helpline support services, to a UK-wide monthly group Zoom meeting and face to face local groups. We also have an extensive collection of online resources and guides.  We attend as many Pride events as we can and our work supports thousands of families every year. This support is provided by an active base of FFLAG volunteers who are parents of LGBT+ children themselves, supported by other volunteers and allies.

What this job is all about

Simply put, as Operations Manager you will ensure the charity's activities are effective, sustainable, and aligned with our mission to support families with LGBT+ members

Reporting directly to the Chair, working closely with the Board of Trustees and supported by a part-time Volunteer Engagement & Events Coordinator you will:

• Lead and supervise the daily operational functions, ensuring smooth and compliant delivery of services.
• Lead fundraising activities, including grant applications, donor stewardship, and partnership development.
• Manage and support staff and volunteers, nurturing a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture.

Purpose

The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. Accountabilities:

Strategic Implementation & Fundraising

• Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income.

• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.

• Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.

• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement  and draft appropriate funding bids.

• Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.

Major Donor Development

• Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.

• Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.

• Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.

• Implement a donor recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate major donor support.

• Ensure philanthropy plans align with brand guidelines and fundraising regulations.

Measurable Outputs:

• Implementation of an annual philanthropy plan that contributes to the wider long-term fundraising strategy.

• Deliver assigned agreed annual income targets for philanthropy which may include:

  • Major Donor income

Overall Purpose of the Role 

The purpose of this role is to manage great quality, high impact marketing, brand and communications to support our funding, fundraising and supporter goals liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.  

To effectively project manage the marketing and communications outputs across one or more of our three charity brands: Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity, Evelina London Children’s Charity and Guy’s Cancer Charity - amplifying our need for charitable funds and the impact of these for the patients, families and staff of Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust.  

• Project manage a number of marketing, design and communications activities from brief to evaluation that support the delivery of our ambitious ten year fundraising plan  
• Contribute to income generation in support of the fundraising objectives and fundraising targets  
• Contribute to increasing the number of supporters, increasing levels of awareness, reaching and engaging new audiences and existing audiences in fundraising and funding  
• To build excellent working relationships with Trust Communications team, Fundraising team and other key stakeholders by developing an in depth understanding of their work, working collaboratively, acting as a key point of contact within the Charity Marketing and Comms team, ensuring all communications and marketing activity support the Charity and Trust’s brand and reputation.

• Line manage 1 x Marketing and Communication Officer and matrix management 1 x Senior Media Officer, providing regular 121’s, performance reviews and L&D plans as required  

Campaign project planning and implementation 

• Lead the delivery of marketing materials and campaigns from brief to evaluation using project management tools to set, monitor and evaluate progress  
• Develop and implement plans for marketing and communications activities, using a wide range of tactics to reach target audiences, setting objectives, KPIs and making the best use of tactics.  
• Use a wide range of tactics to reach our audiences, making the best use of digital and social-media marketing, e-comms, Trust internal communications channels, events, PR, celebrity supporters and other relevant tactics.

• Act as main point of contact for Evelina London Trust Communications team, building strong relationships and specialist knowledge to best support future campaigns and objectives  
• Act as a business partner to fundraising and funding teams to influence their marketing plans and support delivery, providing expertise on the Charity brands and expertise on a wide range of marketing tactics, including digital marketing, internal comms, PR and communications, events and collateral development.  
• Work with the Senior Brand and Content Manager to support with content production, eg copywriting content and working with external suppliers on video and photo production.  

Delivery 

• Delivery across brands, through effective end to end project management and prioritisation as well as ensuring alignment of stakeholder expectations. This could include managing the delivery of the following –brand awareness and fundraising campaigns, impact reports, branded merchandise, case studies, challenge event collateral, digital assets, hospital onsite collateral, pull up banners, posters, leaflets, DM packs, fulfilment materials, digital assets including videos, photography and animations for social media  

Central to your role will be: 

• Leading project groups to deliver outstanding campaigns  
• developing and managing timing plans and scheduling  
• developing marketing and communication plans

• implement and embed our new brand portfolio across our organisation and the Trust including successful application of new brand identities, values  
• Specifically support Fundraising colleagues across Events and Community, Direct Marketing, Corporate, Legacies, Public Fundraising and Major Giving to deliver on marketing plans for income generation and engagement.  
• Collaborate with the charities Digital team to ensure strong performance of our digital channels in support of our Charity brand goals and content

Collaboration, Relationship Building and Networking 

• Build excellent working relationships with the Evelina London and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Trust Communication Teams, fundraising and funding colleagues - sharing objectives, agreeing plans and looking for opportunities to work across teams to maximise impact. Ensuring they are kept informed and consulted on plans and activities. Organise and lead regular planning meetings between teams.  
• Support effective information flow and collaboration through regular meetings with the digital team.  

Celebrity engagement and media 

• Provide specialist support in developing opportunities involving celebrity engagement.  
• Provide support and matrix management to the Senior Media Officer (Trust employed) to ensure we are maximising media and PR opportunities  

Budget and supplier management 

• Manage project and campaign budgets including invoicing and regular financial reporting.  
• Manage external suppliers, ensuring procurement procedures are followed, suppliers are fully briefed and deliver projects to deadline and to budget.  

Other 

• Pro-actively spot opportunities to grow our 3 charity brands, sharing best practise and knowledge with teams to maximise campaign effectiveness  
• Pro-actively support with creating and embedding team processes and ways of working to improve efficiencies and effectiveness across the organisation  

Work environment 

The post holder should expect to: 

• Work in a hybrid hot desk environment, generally working 2 days a week in the London office and three from home.  
• Be responsible for the input and maintenance of databases and files relevant to the post requirements. 
• Will occasionally be required to attend events in the evening and at weekends.

Join Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) as our Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer, and play a vital role in our fundraising team. This position manages a portfolio of high-value Trust and Foundation (T&Fs) donors with complex and varying requirements. They will work closely with the Trusts and Foundations Lead to drive transformational new business, directly generating essential revenue for MSF’s medical humanitarian operations worldwide. We are looking for exceptional candidates with specialised experience working with T&Fs and high-value donors, and a record of building strong, long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and results-driven professional, with the ability to work both autonomously, and as part of a fantastic and supportive team.

Salary:£46,784.49 - £57,181.04 per annum

Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for supporting with the implementation of the Trusts and Foundations Strategy.

They are responsible for managing a portfolio of key T&F relationships, typically giving at the £50,000 - £250,000 level. In addition, they will drive new business from prospective T&Fs capable of giving between £100,000 - £250,000 and will work closely with the Trusts and Foundations Lead on new business activity above this level

• Experience of T&F fundraising including, report writing, application and proposal writing, and knowledge of restricted funding models.
• Experience managing a portfolio of high value major donors with a range of requirements.
• Proven track record of developing new business relationships and delivering income from prospective major donors.
