About the job role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor in our Estates team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing and supporting the implementation of health and safety across an organisation. There will be a wide range of responsibilities from policy to the operational level. Activities range from office- and shop-based staff to health workers, outreach workers, and a small maintenance team.

About the role
This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic support for survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
As Head of Clinical Services, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering individual therapy, group work, body-based therapies and web-based counselling within WGN’s intersectional Black feminist framework and Holistic Empowerment Recovery (HER) Model. You will shape the strategic direction of clinical services, strengthen partnerships, embed strong clinical governance and safeguarding practice, and foster a culture of collective care, reflective practice and anti-oppressive leadership.
This role combines strategic leadership, service development, clinical oversight and people management to ensure WGN’s therapeutic services remain sector-leading, accessible and survivor-led.
About you
As Head of Clinical Services, you will:

Alongside this, the Senior Fundraising Manager will assess and determine which early opportunities for growth should be prioritised. While areas such as community fundraising, digital campaigns and regular giving are likely to offer early potential, the postholder will lead decisions on where to focus effort and investment to generate the strongest returns.
- Leverage and optimise existing community and public fundraising activity to increase income and supporter numbers.

Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- In-depth Financial Analysis

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Our Second Home (OSH) is the UK’s youth movement for people with refugee backgrounds. We support young people to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place they call home.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. About Friends for Life Bedfordshire
We are a Bedford-based charity working to address the social isolation of older residents in Bedfordshire’s care homes.
Founded in 2007, we have grown from a small local initiative to a registered charity with c90 volunteers supporting more than 30 care homes across Bedford Borough. In the last year, over 1,100 care home residents received our services.
The Role
You will play a key operational role in ensuring our volunteer-led services run smoothly, safely and effectively.
Working closely with the Volunteer Lead, you will help recruit, train, support and retain volunteers, ensuring they feel confident, valued and equipped to deliver both befriending and activity-based services.
