ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support academy leaders and deliver high quality people-focused advice across the Federation.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with senior leaders, providing expert advice on employee relations, workforce planning and organisational change. You’ll lead complex casework, coach leaders on effective people management, and support initiatives that improve engagement, wellbeing and performance.
The role involves regular visits to academies, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality HR practice. You’ll also contribute to HR projects, policy development and leadership training.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted HR partner to academy leaders, providing proactive, pragmatic advice on workforce planning, engagement, performance and wellbeing
- Providing expert advice and support to managers on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, capability management and restructures, ensuring legal compliance and timely resolution
- Coaching and supporting senior leaders to strengthen people management capability and embed best practice, including informal dispute resolution
- Providing expert advice and support to leaders on organisational change, including restructures and TUPE transfers, supporting with managing consultation processes and trade union relationships
- Analysing workforce data and trends to inform HR initiatives such as retention, attendance improvement, and improving the employee experience

Manage financial bookkeeping (Xero, Sage, or equivalent), including credit control, and oversee charity income and expenditure in line with funding requirements and Charity Commission regulations. Act as the day-to-day liaison with accountants.

This is a practical, hands-on leadership role at the heart of Richmond CVS’s work with local charities and community groups. Richmond CVS already works with a range of experienced consultants and trainers and has an established suite of training resources. We are looking for a relationship-driven Corporate Fundraiser to manage and grow our corporate partnerships and support our mission to improve financial education for children and young people across the UK.
This role will focus primarily on account management of existing corporate partners, most of whom are based in London and work within the financial services sector. Corporate partners support the charity through donations, participation in a collaborative supporter group, and employee volunteering.
A key part of the role will be coordinating our corporate volunteering programme, particularly school-based volunteering sessions where corporate employees deliver financial education workshops. You will manage the end-to-end process, working closely with corporate partners, schools and internal colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery.
You will also support new business development, helping to identify and secure new corporate partnerships, and will use Salesforce to manage relationships, pipelines and reporting.

The Geological Society Publishing House has an exciting opportunity within the publishing operations team for a ‘Publishing Platform Lead’ to maintain our established flagship publishing platform the Lyell Collection.

Overall responsibilities / requirements …
To oversee the smooth running of the Society’s publishing platform, which showcases our portfolio of online titles. Reporting to the Head of Publishing Operations (HoPO), you will be chiefly responsible for the management, support and maintenance of the Atypon powered Lyell Collection platform.
You will collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and stay up to date with the latest emerging platform technologies. You will be responsible for maintaining the Society’s online publishing platforms, so an understanding of a range of standard integrations, workflows, html and XML is essential.
Key accountabilities
Platform maintenance
- Oversee and maintain the Atypon Web Admin Tool (WAT) for the Society’s scholarly book and journal platform.
- Manage a queue of platform maintenance and change requests, including triage, feasibility analysis, testing and quality assurance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reporting platform issues to Atypon (the hosting provider), managing communications, and monitoring the support ticket system to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot platform issues reported internally and communicate resolution statuses.
- Support development of new platform features and assist with implementation and QA.
- Maintain, validate, edit, and troubleshoot JATS XML while staying current with JATS and NISO standards and ensuring vendor compliance.
- Set up new pages and journal/book series sites within the platform as needed, ensuring all new website content is consistent with site templates and branding.
- Ensure that any new developments are tested and work as per requirements, utilizing the test facilities of the platform via sandbox areas.
Third party tools and services
- Act as the point of contact with vendors who provide supporting or downstream services for the Lyell Collection, e.g. CrossRef, Digital Science, indexing services etc.
- Oversee the smooth deposit of selected content via Zipline into the GeoScienceWorld (GSW) platform, hosted by Silverchair. This is published via multiresolution doi on both the Lyell Collection and GSW.
Accessibility
- Manage web accessibility compliance in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors by overseeing the implementation of necessary improvements in line with publishing standards and directives.
- Check that any changes in XML tagging or online display meet accessibility requirements.

3.Manage Safeguarding across the service, complying with internal and external policy and legislation, authorise adult and child referrals maintaining a trauma-informed, non-judgemental stance that prioritises dignity and safety

Job Description
As Beacon Team Leader, you will be a member of the local management team within the victim service, managing a team of Beacon Support Workers as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring the effective delivery of end to end support for victims in line with contractual expectations. You will provide line management support, supervision and guidance to the team in line with Catch22’s policies and procedures.
You will ensure that victims receive a high quality service through the effective management of the team’s performance, maintaining organisational and professional standards expected of the victim service. You will ensure that victims’ needs are reviewed and met in line with the key targets and contractual expectations.
You will maintain a close working relationship with police partners, statutory services and voluntary agencies ensuring relationships are effectively managed and pathways of support for victims remain seamless to provide a high quality and consistent service. You will provide management oversight of presenting risks and needs ensuring matters are managed and escalated appropriately and actions taken expediently as deemed appropriate to the presenting situation.
Qualifications
As Beacon Team Leader, with responsibility for the effective running of the Victim Service on a day-to-day basis, you will have a great opportunity to be involved in a number of varied projects working at the heart of the delivery of our strategic ambition. This post currently (can change subject to contract changes) will be managing team members who are working with:
Children and Young people affected by Crime including Domestic Abuse and Sexual Abuse
Families affected by Child on Parent Violence
Anti-social behaviour victims

Salary: £32,620 per annum
Hours of work: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Flexibility: Flexible working options available, where service delivery allows - blended approach of office working, home working, and occasionally supporting with visits across Hertfordshire.
