About the role

The Innovative Finance Manager role is central to advancing innovative finance initiatives that create transformative outcomes for children.

You will lead the design, shaping and execution of a portfolio of innovative finance projects—such as child-lens impact investment and inclusive insurance—across the Save the Children Movement, supported by the Innovation Hive. This includes designing and structuring financing mechanisms, developing proposals, and coordinating partners.

The role combines strategic leadership, venture development and execution, with a strong emphasis on mobilising capital, building partnerships, and developing scalable solutions that can influence systems and markets. You will play a key role in originating and structuring new opportunities, supporting their progression from early-stage concept through to implementation and scale, while ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and impact objectives.

Working across geographies, with a focus on Latin America and Africa, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver high-impact programmes. With impact on children as your guiding star, you will also monitor emerging trends and opportunities in innovative finance to inform strategic decision-making.

You will also contribute to strengthening organisational capability in innovative finance, supporting knowledge sharing, mentoring colleagues, and embedding best practice across Save the Children UK.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the origination design and structuring of high-impact innovative finance projects that advance child-focused impact, such as blended finance, insurance, carbon finance and impact investment funds.
• Exercise strong judgement and autonomy in prioritising opportunities, shaping initiatives, and influencing decision-making on programme design, resource allocation, and strategic direction.
• Develop compelling proposals, concept notes and investment cases that unlock funding and advance scalable innovative finance solutions. Lead market scanning, research and strategic analysis and originate opportunities in priority areas and across geographies particularly in Latin America and Africa.
• Integrate impact management frameworks into projects you lead, ensuring all initiatives are data-driven, aligned with Save the Children's impact objectives, and deliver measurable outcomes for children.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tools, resources, frameworks and support mechanisms that enhance the delivery of innovative finance projects.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with internal teams, country offices, and external stakeholders including investors, foundations and development finance institutions, to grow pipeline and enable delivery
• Represent Save the Children in external forums and contribute to contribute to thought leadership and insights on innovative finance for children, strengthening the organisation's position in innovative finance 

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have/are:

• Demonstrated experience in leading the design, execution, and management of innovative finance models such as impact investment, carbon credits and inclusive insurance. 
• Ability to understand how these can be applied to advance scalable and sustainable impact for children.
• Ability to understand how to integrate IMM frameworks into projects.
• Demonstrated experience in analysing and interpreting data, and presenting information in a compelling way.
• Demonstrated experience in market research and analysis, communicating the potential impact in a clear and compelling way, and applying learnings to drive strategy and project development.
• Experience or ability to work with teams across geographies and sectors, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders from diverse sectors.
• Confidence presenting to partners, donors or investors.
• A team player, someone who is open and who is able and willing to deliver beyond their personal brief.
• Resilience, enthusiasm, energy and drive with a commitment to Save the Children's vision and values.
• A commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in local communities. The Reconnection Team

Working alongside the Sub Regional Rough Sleeping Team as part of an evolving pilot scheme the Reconnection Team work with people who are rough sleeping or placed in temporary ‘off the street’ accommodation by Outreach Workers across six London boroughs. Providing information, advocacy and practical, person-centred support they empower clients to take the necessary steps toward resettlement, enabling them to reconnect with their local area and access the services they need to resettle successfully.

The Role

The role involves working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring the effective delivery of services tailored to each individual’s circumstances. Based at the 999 Club but travelling throughout Southeast London, you’ll work with a dynamic team dedicated to ending homelessness and making a tangible difference in people’s lives

This role is part of a pilot scheme being run by the Southeast London Sub-Regional Rough Sleeping Coordinator and provides the opportunity to work in different settings alongside teams from several other organisations from the third sector as well as voluntary and statutory services.

CXK is the lead provider of Personal Careers Guidance to young people in schools and specialist centres across Kent & Medway, where we provide independent Personal Careers Guidance, via our CXK Young Peoples’ Careers Service.

We provide this through a variety of creative and innovative approaches

 

The Team

We are a diverse and welcoming team of advisers, who use a wide variety of creative methods to deliver personalised, client centred, personal careers guidance, ranging from one-to-one sessions through to group guidance, parents and options evenings, as well as focused talks and assemblies. We have minimal admin and keep our clients’ experience central to what we do, providing an inclusive service with individualised action plans, including the use of visual career maps, career cards and white boards, alongside more traditional approaches where appropriate.

We follow the CDI code of ethics and best practice for Action Planning (which names and recognises CXKs innovative work in this area):

The team is led by Chris Targett RCDP, who alongside his work at CXK, is the current Chair of the Careers Writers Association and co-author of the recently released Career Development and Inclusive Practice book, published by Trotman Publishing in partnership with the CDI.

The team is small but impactful. Feedback from our young people, that tell us about what our students valued regards our services:

The Role

The Careers Advisers will cover one or more of the following regions: Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required. 

Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.

You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.

This role leads our communications strategy, creates compelling content, manages digital channels, secures regional and national media coverage for the charity, and supports national campaigns and events. You will have the opportunity to work with our exciting portfolio of corporate and brand partners, co-designing joint campaigns and initiatives, and positioning our communications to generate further support and income.You will also play an important role in our End Hygiene Poverty research and campaign partnership with the charity In Kind Direct. 

Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, the postholder ensures our brand integrity and messaging is clear, ethical and impactful, helping to amplify the voices of those experiencing hygiene poverty and strengthen engagement with volunteers, community partners, supporters and the public who share our mission to end hygiene poverty. It is a varied, creative and meaningful role which sits at the heart of our work to ensure everyone has access to the hygiene essentials they need to feel clean, confident, and connected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Communications Plan and Implementation 

• Develop and implement the annual communications and marketing plan in collaboration with senior leadership. 

• Design communications which meet our objectives, with particular emphasis on raising awareness of hygiene poverty and the charity, securing the support we need and championing and celebrating our partners and stakeholders 

• Ensure communications are accurate, impactful, and aligned with The Hygiene Bank’s mission, values, tone of voice and brand guidelines. 

• Translate complex or sensitive issues related to hygiene poverty into accessible, compelling stories. 

• Provide strategic communications support across teams and projects, including leading on National Hygiene Week, our flagship annual event and our partnerships with leading national brands, such as Boots, Unilever and smol. 

• Provide communications support for our fundraising campaigns and optimise our calls to action across all media. 

• Uphold high ethical and inclusive standards in all messaging and ensure our communications conform with accessibility standards. 

2. Digital Strategy and Implementation 

• Lead digital planning and delivery across our website, email, social media and digital campaigns. 

• Manage digital advertising activity (e.g., paid social, Google Ads), ensuring strong ROI. 

• Lead on the development and maintenance of our website to maximised our impact with audiences, including using SEO and traffic metrics to inform improvements.

• Oversee analytics, reporting and insight‑driven optimisation, using this to guide the work of yourself and the Communications Officer. 

3. Content Creation 

• Produce high quality written, visual and multimedia content for a variety of platforms – including media communications, social media, presentations and speeches and communications collateral to support all our campaigns. 

• Create and update marketing collateral, including leaflets, posters and campaign toolkits. 

• Manage, create and edit supporter newsletters and email communications. 

• Commission and collaborate with designers, photographers and videographers and other external creative resources as required. 

• Develop and hold a library of high-quality creative assets and imagery which support our proposition and share with partners and volunteers as needed. 

4. Ambassadors and Influencers 

•  Build and nurture relationships with ambassadors, influencers and public supporters. 

•  Develop briefs, guidance and campaign plans for influencer activity. 

•  Ensure ambassador messaging aligns with organisational values and priorities. 

•  Identify opportunities to amplify diverse lived experiences and voices. 

5. Events 

• Plan and implement digital and in person events for THB audiences 

• Lead promotional activity for national and regional events, campaigns and awareness moments including those with our brand and corporate partners 

• Support branding and communications needs for in‑person and digital events. 

• Coordinate communications for key campaigns such as National Hygiene Week and major partnership launches. 

• Capture and produce event‑related content (photo, video, social). 

6. External Engagement and media 

• Act as the point person for our collaborative campaign with In Kind Direct (IKD) End Hygiene Poverty, coordinating joint activities and working closely with peers in the charity

An established funding organisation is seeking an experienced Temporary Grants Manager to support a busy international research funding programme during a peak delivery period.
This assignment will focus on the end-to-end management of grants for individual applicants, with particular responsibility for peer review and assessment activity across an international scheme.

We are SIFA Fireside, the support service for any adult in Birmingham that faces homelessness. For 40 years we have supported Birmingham’s most vulnerable people through Homelessness Intervention, Prevention and Recovery services.

The Adult Lead Worker service is based at our main hub in Digbeth but provides city-wide support to adults experiencing multiple disadvantages. This service provides flexible, strengths-based advice and support to people aged 18 years plus who experience two or more of substance use, poor mental health, history of repeat homelessness and offending history. Clients may also be serially excluded from services or be at risk of exclusion from mainstream services.

This is a targeted service that aims to build resilience, improve health and wellbeing and move people towards independent living at an early stage, in order to prevent or delay the need for crisis interventions.

The Lead Workers will also act as a community navigator linking the client into local services and activities, ensuring access to and receipt of necessary care and support that will vary for each client.

1. To ensure that the service operates in a strength-based way, taking a flexible and psychologically informed approach to support.
