Charity People is supporting a well-established UK health charity to recruit a Design Support Temp.
This national charity works to improve health outcomes through research, awareness campaigns and practical support. Their work reaches millions of people across the UK, and their in-house creative team plays a key role in delivering clear, engaging and accessible communications across print and digital channels.

About The role
This is a short-term temporary opportunity to support a busy in-house design team during a period of change. You'll work closely with senior designers to produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets across a wide range of channels.

• Producing print and digital assets in line with established brand guidelines
• Creating social media assets, email banners and website banners
• Adapting and resizing artwork for multiple formats
• Preparing artwork for print (handover only - no printer liaison required)
• Managing multiple projects concurrently using Trello
• Liaising with internal stakeholders once work is approved

About you:

• A confident, hands-on designer able to pick up work quickly
• Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator essential)
• Comfortable working independently with minimal hand-holding
• Experience producing both print and digital assets
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with internal stakeholders
• Able to work at pace in a high-volume environment
• Experience working in a charity or purpose-led organisation (desirable, not essential)
• Background in in-house teams or fast-paced environments
• Light animation skills (very basic transitions only)

Pay and conditions

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To provide administrative support for the timely delivery of project activities, accurate record keeping and robust reporting across a range of CSE projects and initiatives.

• To provide support for the planning, promotion and delivery of training sessions, external workshops and events (both online and in person).

• To play a key role in co-ordinating our support (including grant giving) for community-based organisations, including acting as a key point of contact, recording support, tracking payments, monitoring delivery, and maintaining records.

• To liaise with a range of stakeholders, potentially including community groups, local authorities, town and parish councils, and partners in our youth work initiatives.

• To represent CSE on a range of projects, in external in-person and online meetings and events.

• To support promotion of CSE projects, activities, reports and publications to ensure effective engagement with the target audience.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• 5 GCSEs (including English) at grade A-C (or 4 or above), or equivalent

• Use of MS office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

• Experience with Teams and Zoom for online calls / meetings

• Providing administrative support in an organisation or for a specific activity

• Working on more than one project or set of tasks at once, and being accountable for your time

• Experience of liaising with colleagues and external customer/partners

• Highly organised and able to manage time and a busy workload

The Community, Events and Education team sits within the Mass Engagement department. The team manages a diverse portfolio of marketing, fundraising and engagement activities, ranging from challenge events and the partnership with Glastonbury Festival, to community fundraising and WaterAid’s volunteer Speaker Network.

About the role

The Community, Events and Education Lead is a critical member of WaterAid’s Mass Engagement Department, driving forward both marketing and fundraising from a range of audiences, as well as leading our Special Events and volunteering activities.

It is a broad role that offers the opportunity to reimagine this area and set a new transformational direction for the team. It is an area that has significant opportunities for income growth and requires a Team Lead to focus our efforts on the largest opportunities. Job purpose
Toynbee Hall’s community centre delivers a variety of community projects for people of all ages who live in Tower Hamlets. Scope of role

The Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies UK (CVAA) aims to improve adoption policy and practice across the UK for the benefit of children, challenging the adoption system to deliver for children and work in their best interests. Alongside advocating for system change, CVAA works to support our member voluntary adoption agencies (VAAs) across the four nations of the UK, stimulating innovation and ensuring they stay at the leading edge of practice. The active engagement of members and the building of collaborative alliances with others who seek positive change for children are essential to the effectiveness of our work.

The Head of Policy is a vital member of the small CVAA team, working closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees to champion the voluntary adoption sector and put children at the heart of everything we do. Due to maternity leave we have an exceptional and unique opportunity for someone who shares our passion to change the world for children, to gain valuable experience working at national level with senior stakeholders to contribute to system change, advocating for the power of adoption to change lives.

You will need strong people skills, experience of developing policy in consultation with stakeholders and using data to transform services and strengthen lobbying work. Most of all you need a cast iron commitment to change the world for vulnerable children.

IRC UK 
IRC UK is part of the IRC global network, which has its global headquarters in New York. Our team in the UK works to raise profile, deliver policy and practice change, and increase funding to help restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. The IRC UK has been delivering Resettlement Asylum and Integration (RAI) programmes in the UK since 2021, working in partnership with local councils, providing integration support to resettled refugees across England.

The Purpose of the Role

The Client Voice Officer will support RAI UK’s client engagement and participation agenda, ensuring that refugees and people seeking asylum meaningfully influence programme design, delivery, advocacy, and strategy.

The role will implement client voice related projects and strengthen RAI UK’s client voice systems, including structured feedback mechanisms and the Client Advisory Board (CAB).

The role will support the development of client-led research and evidence generation initiatives to inform programmes and policy positions. The role will also build relationships with migrant-led and grassroots organisations to ensure lived experience meaningfully shapes services, advocacy priorities, and external engagement. This role centres direct lived experience of forced displacement as a form of expertise.

The postholder will report to the Integration Lead Advisor and work in close collaboration with the Head of Programmes, RAI Director, Programme Managers, Senior Programme Development Advisor,  Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer, Senior Programme and Awards Officer, Advocacy and Policy Managers, Communication team and other IRC UK teams.

Key Accountabilities

Project Coordination

· Work in collaboration with the Senior Community Engagement and Volunteer Officer to coordinate a new psychosocial education and photography programme for refugee young people (aged 16–19).

· Support the delivery and facilitation of this programme as required.

· Develop the participant outreach plan and support the day-to-day communication with the participants of the project in coordination with the session facilitators.

· Work in collaboration with the Integration Lead Advisor, Technical Advisor for Women and Child Protection and other relevant programme colleagues to ensure that the project curriculum is adapted and delivered to be contextually appropriate, developmentally suitable, and aligned with RAI UK technical standards, with an emphasis on ensuring client voice is strengthened through a person-centred and strengths-based approach.

· Work with the Safeguarding Advisor to ensure full compliance with safeguarding, consent, data protection, and ethical storytelling requirements throughout project delivery.

· Work in collaboration with the Senior Community Engagement and Volunteer Officer and clients to co-create and coordinate two dissemination events showcasing youth photography and lived experience outputs.

· Ensure robust monitoring of outcomes and timely, high-quality donor reporting in line with IRC and funder requirements.

Community Engagement

· Strengthen and coordinate the Community Advisory Board (CAB).

· Provide support and training to CAB members, including organising external trainings as needed.

· Undertake associated administrative and coordination responsibilities related to client, community and CAB work, including meeting organisation, coordination and record-keeping of travel and expenses logistics, documentation including sensitive data management cross-departmentally including facilitation of DBS checks, client communication, and tracking actions to ensure accountability and follow-through.

· Proactively engage migrant-led and grassroots organisations to share best practices.

· Collaborate with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team to track quantitative outputs and qualitative outcomes of engagement with community, clients and CAB.

· Ensure engagement approaches are accessible and inclusive to reduce barriers to participation.

Client Voice to strengthen Programme Development and Internal Learning

· Develop and implement a Client Voice framework for RAI UK to embed participatory approaches into every stage of programming from design to delivery.

· Embed client voice into early stages of programming, including needs assessments, service design, and proposals.

· Work alongside colleagues to embed client voice and continuously improve participatory engagement approaches across RAI UK programme delivery.

· Contribute to internal and donor monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements.

· Collaborate with the MEL team to design tools to capture client voice in our programming and to measure client influence and participation.

· Pilot innovative approaches and build RAI UK evidence base on client and community participatory engagement.

· Contribute to IRC global client & community engagement communities of practice.

· Support delivery of RAI UK capacity building work, delivering trainings as requested to ensure client and community voice is represented, such as Healing Spaces trainings or employer engagement sessions.

External Communications and Advocacy

· Summarise client and CAB insights into briefings to be used in RAI and cross-departmentally, including by Senior Management Team and IRC UK Board of Trustees.

· Collaborate with Advocacy Manager and Policy Manager to reflect and include client and CAB insights and experiences into policy and advocacy calls for action.

· Support initiatives equipping refugees to share lived experiences in collaboration with Communications team, promoting trauma-informed ethical storytelling aligned with safeguarding principles.

parkrun is looking for a Data Protection Officer to ensure that parkrun processes personal data in a lawful, transparent and secure manner and maintains compliance with applicable data protection laws across the global parkrun movement.

Reporting to the Global Head of Legal and Governance, this role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and promoting good practices across the parkrun global movement. The role will sit within a small Legal and Governance team and provide day-to-day assistance and practical, solution-focused advice across the organisation. 

The Data Protection Officer will act independently in carrying out their statutory responsibilities under applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, and will play a key role in embedding a strong culture of data protection and responsible data use across parkrun’s global operations.

A key focus of the role will be working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to build understanding of data protection requirements, deliver effective training and guidance, and support colleagues to take a practical and pragmatic approach to managing data protection risks in their work.

Main responsibilities:

The Data Protection Officer will support data protection and privacy compliance across the parkrun global movement, including responsibility for the following:

• Acting as parkrun’s Data Protection Officer under applicable data protection legislation, advising the organisation on its legal obligations and monitoring compliance with relevant data protection laws and principles

• Developing, reviewing and maintaining data protection policies, procedures and guidelines for the parkrun global movement

• Monitoring the organisation’s compliance with data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and providing quarterly reports to the Board Governance and Risk Sub-Committee

• Supporting teams in carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and embedding privacy into projects, partnerships and new initiatives

• Developing and maintaining key compliance documentation including a Record of Processing Activities (ROPA)

• Leading the Data Governance Group and developing/progressing the organisation’s Data Protection Action Plan

Womankind Worldwide is a global women’s rights organisation working in partnership with women’s rights movements and organisations to transform the lives of women and girls. Role Purpose:

The Policy and Advocacy team within Womankind influences a transformative, feminist agenda for change in solidarity with movement partners and allies. This role reports to the UK and Global Policy and Advocacy Manager.

This is a full-time UK based role that supports the policy and advocacy team’s efforts from a decolonial feminist lens, in line with Womankind’s 2030 strategy and the Influencing Sub-Strategy. Reporting to the Movement Strengthening and Feminist Funding Policy & Advocacy Manager, the role will engage in Policy and Advocacy operational and management support, contribute to advocacy learning and exchange, knowledge production, coordination of MEL-related outputs, and represent Womankind internally and externally vis-à-vis its advocacy objectives.

Areas of responsibility:

1.Policy and Advocacy Operational and Management Support

• Assists the Policy and Advocacy team to respond to the needs and opportunities in the WRO and feminist movement and feminist funding ecosystem context. This includes mapping the context, conducting research, drafting internal briefing documents, attending in-person meetings with state and civil society actors, and dispatching external communication as appropriate.

• Taking the lead in partner and ally communications in relation to various policy and advocacy opportunities.

• Assisting the Policy and Advocacy Team to complete, file and dispatch finance and administration forms including international transfer forms.

• Supports annual operational and budget planning processes.

2.Policy and Advocacy Governance Support

• Schedules monthly Policy and Advocacy meetings, attend and document the said meetings, on a rotational basis with the other P&A Officer.

• Contribute to reporting processes at Womankind to ensure high quality narrative and financial work plans and reports, grant management, monitoring and evaluation, linking and learning, and financial management - in collaboration with other Womankind colleagues;

Qualification and training:
