JOB PURPOSE This is an exciting senior leadership role with the opportunity to shape how Waverley Abbey tells its story, grows its reach and engages people with its vision. The Head of Marketing and Communications will provide strategic, creative and inspiring leadership across all aspects of marketing, communications, brand and digital engagement. Working across the breadth of Waverley Abbey — including the college, house, House of Prayer, events, hospitality, fundraising and the wider estate — the postholder will develop clear and compelling communication that strengthen our brand trust, reach new audiences and support sustainable revenue growth. This role will ensure that our communications reflect the quality, warmth and bold ambition of Waverley Abbey. You will be a talented and experienced marketing professional, an exceptional leader who mines the gold in others, and an experienced AI champion with a bold vision to play your part to see the Gospel of Jesus transform a generation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Marketing Leadership
> Develop and lead an ambitious, integrated marketing and communications strategy to support and supercharge Waverley Abbey’s vision, organisational priorities and income objectives.
> Translate organisational strategy into clear annual marketing plans, campaigns, priorities and measurable outcomes, and deliver those plans on time every time.
> Work closely with leaders across the college, House of Prayer, house and estate, hospitality, events, fundraising and other areas to understand their audiences and develop effective marketing responses.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team driving Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking and stewardship. You will be responsible for the stewardship of varied corporate accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent account management. Some accounts raising six figure sums.

Responsibilities
Finance & Board Administration
Financial Oversight: Manage invoice creation, process team expenses, have a good understanding of our overall budget, and pull monthly budget reports from Sage for budget holders.
Reporting: Prepare core financial reports for the board (budget vs. actuals, projections, cash flow charts) and support fundraising financial queries.
Board Support: Coordinate quarterly board meetings, manage agendas/slides, take action notes (utilising AI tools), and track the risk and action logs.
Operations, HR & Governance
HR Support: Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, set up equipment, update personnel databases, and prep monthly payroll, working together with our People & Culture team.

Ability to maintain meticulous data integrity in our CRM for programme and fundraising activities.
Prepared to embrace being a ‘Digital Champion’, helping team members to learn and embrace platforms we use such as Wrike / Hubspot / Gemini.
Organised and able to hold us to strict legislative timelines or important annual dates (e.g., filing of accounts / updating Companies House records).

About the role:
The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Operations Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet. Rainbow Trust operates a fleet of approximately seventy vehicles situated across our nine regional teams. It is vitally important that our Family Support Workers have a reliable vehicle for attending family visits and transporting families to hospital. You will manage and successfully deliver key events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as third party and DIY challenge fundraising. We are looking for someone who enjoys building interpersonal relationships with both funders and supporters and team-mates, is skilled at communicating through writing, can turn detailed information into a clear and compelling case for support, and is organised enough to manage several deadlines at once. You will already have experience of trusts fundraising or bid writing. Most importantly, you will be thoughtful, curious and collaborative, be aligned with Boaz’s values and our commitment to the dignity and rights of people seeking sanctuary.

The Witness Service provides free,independent support to anywitnessgiving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales-both for the prosecution and thedefence. Our trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence. The Witness Service also supports bereaved familymembers,friends and family who areaccompanyingwitnesses in court.
