• Confidence using CRM systems, data and reporting tools
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Sensitivity and empathy when working with donors and bereaved families
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations and data protection requirements

A relevant fundraising or marketing qualification is desirable but not essential.

About the role

Reporting in to the Church Engagement & Fundraising Advisor, the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer will empower people and amplifying change by proactively identifying opportunities to inspire and equip a defined set of churches, groups, specialist volunteers,
and individuals.

The post-holder will foster relationships built on trust and openness, collaborating both across and outside the organisation to drive meaningful impact in fundraising and campaigning activities.

Some of the main areas of responsibilities of the Church Engagement & Fundraising Officer include:

• Develop and manage Christian Aid’s relationships with a defined group of key churches and Christian Aid groups through face-to-face and online engagement.
• Maximise the involvement of churches and groups as agents of change in alignment with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
• Proactively identify and engage churches that have not previously supported Christian Aid, building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective churches to Give, Act, and Pray.
• Build and nurture meaningful existing relationships with churches and groups to ensure alignment with Christian Aid’s values and goals.
• Actively promote Christian Aid’s presence and profile by delivering impactful contributions, such as speaking at events, attending festivals, participating in meetings, and utilising communication channels.
• Adapt engagement based on the insights gained from stakeholders to consistently achieve departmental and team targets.
• Supervise and support volunteers, ensuring they are effectively developed and equipped to fulfil Christian Aid’s objectives.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of all activities involving supporters and volunteers, utilising the CRM supporter database.
• Use collected data and insights to inform priorities and drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
• Consistently deliver high-impact outputs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and striving to maximise the impact of Christian Aid’s work.

About you

Who we are looking for:

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of church audiences across all denominations.
• Experience of mentoring volunteers to add capacity, skills and aptitude to empower and support them.
• Detailed knowledge of the principles of good donor management or customer care, and understanding of the principles of relationship building.
• Developed communication skills to inspire others to take action and use their skills and resources to fundraise and donate.
• Developed communication skills to communicate complex messages creatively and effectively to diverse audiences.
• An ability to analyse and interpret information and data to prioritise work and achieve results.
• Organisational skills to work under pressure and manage competing priorities to deliver multiple concurrent activities.
• The ability to travel frequently to locations, including some evenings and weekends.

• Knowledge of current fundraising legislation and good practice.
• Knowledge of relevant church networks and denominational structures.
• Ability to effectively portray development messages in a theological context.

• Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies
• Experience of working in an income processing role, preferably within a fundraising environment

• IT literate – proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases (preferably Care or similar)

Community Fundraiser (Covering North Liverpool, Southport, Knowsley & St Helens)

As part of our community team, you will place our supporters at the heart of everything you do by cultivating and stewarding relationships to provide a first-class experience. You are outgoing, independent, able to work instinctively, and confident in making approaches to garner new support.  You will have the ability to translate our story to develop and inspire our volunteers and engage with a wide range of community contacts and high street corporates. The Role

The CEO will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and cultural leadership for Veterans With Dogs. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the CEO will oversee the delivery of the charity’s mission, ensure operational excellence, develop our long-term strategy, and foster a values-led and high-performing team.

This is a hands-on, multi-dimensional leadership role, ideal for a calm, pragmatic, and inspiring individual with experience of organisational stabilisation, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable growth. You will build strong relationships with the team and stakeholders, maintaining a visible and engaged leadership presence both in person and remotely.

This is a genuinely part-time role with a focused and manageable scope, supported by an engaged Board of Trustees and a committed team. The role is designed to be sustainable within the allocated hours.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the development and delivery of an interim plan and longer-term organisational strategy

EACS is an established voluntary sector provider of 1:1 low-cost counselling and psychotherapy to people living in Ealing.EACS serves a very diverse local population whose mental health needs often fall outside of NHS talking therapy; or where people may want a different space from the statutory services.We often support people who bring complex histories, needing more in-depth support over a longer period.

The role: Part-time Director

We are recruiting a Director to lead and oversee the strategic, operational, financial, stakeholder and personnel functions of EACS, who would enjoy a hands-on role working with a small part-time staff team, supporting a medium-sized organisation.

The role requires a broad skillset and brings a balance of engaging with internal day-to-day functions; and external collaboration borne out of a thorough grasp of all aspects of service-delivery and the culture of EACS.An understanding of the voluntary sector is important.

The role will bring a particular focus on long-term sustainability, financial resilience and increasing our visibility and reach, while continuing to maintain operational excellence and high-quality, compassionate service-delivery.

You will be joining a hard-working, collaborative staff team that has flourished within a supportive, non-hierarchical structure but where lines of responsibility are clear.

Key components of the role:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction while maintaining a strong operational ‘grip’

Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience working in mental health; and current or previous management experience within the charity sector or other mission-driven organisation. 

Those with a background in the commercial sector who would value the opportunity to work within the voluntary sector, and who can demonstrate they have the skillset, qualities, attitude and values which underpin the role are also very welcome to apply.A qualified psychotherapist or counsellor would be highly desirable but is not essential.

Digital Fundraising Officer - 12-month Maternity Cover

The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model. Following ten years of rapid growth driven primarily through lottery acquisition, the organisation is now evolving its approach to strengthen supporter engagement, improve retention and maximise fundraising performance across a wider range of income streams.

This role will play an important part in that transition. As the Foundation launches a new website, develops its use of Salesforce and strengthens its supporter communications, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help deliver effective digital fundraising and engagement activity across multiple channels. The postholder will support campaign delivery, manage digital content and platforms, and use data and insight to improve performance and supporter experience.

Principal Duties

The main duties of the Digital Fundraising Officer are:

· To plan, create and deliver fundraising, supporter engagement and stewardship communications across digital channels including email, website and social media

· To manage content across the Veterans' Foundation website, ensuring it remains accurate, engaging, accessible and aligned to fundraising and organisational priorities

About the role

The Community Link Worker will play a key role in supporting individuals who are economically inactive due to musculoskeletal issues and/or mental health needs, and with a desire to return to or get into work. The postholder will build strong relationships with local services, employment teams, health professionals and community organisations to enable clients to reintegrate into the workforce and improve their overall wellbeing.
