This four-year role, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, sits at the heart of the Small and Mighty (SaM) infrastructure support programme, delivered by a partnership of Community First Oxfordshire, OCVA, Oxford Community Action, Charity Mentors and Volunteer Link-Up, working directly with grassroots voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups. You’ll help organisations navigate challenges, build capacity and connect with others through outreach clinics, tailored training and collaborative spaces. Alongside staff within partner organisations and the existing CFO and OCVA team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Oxfordshire’s community sector for the long term.

Main Purpose of Job

We are seeking a part-time Communications and Impact Officer to help us promote volunteering opportunities and communicate the impact of our work across Kensington & Chelsea.

This role will lead on impact communications, storytelling, and digital content, ensuring that funders, partners, and the public clearly understand the difference volunteering makes in our community.

You will create engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, VCKC’s website, impact reports, case studies, and funding communications. You will also support colleagues in communicating the impact of their programmes and promoting them effectively by turning data and evidence into compelling narratives, case studies, and marketing materials.

Key duties

• Create engaging communications and digital content to promote volunteering opportunities

• Produce impact reports, case studies, funder updates, and website content

• Manage and grow engagement across social media and VCKC’s website

• Translate data and evaluation insights into clear, accessible communications

• Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and storytelling across the organisation

About You.

About the Role.  

We are investing in our Fundraising and Development team to deliver an ambitious 5-year fundraising strategy. The Trusts and Philanthropy Manager is pivotal in securing philanthropic support from trusts and foundations, legacies, major donors, and corporate partners.

 
Over the strategy period you will be responsible for developing annual trust and grant income to £500,000+, by securing grants of five figures and above and gaining multi-year donations.Using your experience in creating strong cases for support, including unrestricted costs, and pipeline development, you will work with two part-time colleagues to increase annual income from major donors, legacies and corporate partners to £250,000+ (excluding exceptional legacy gifts). 

With curiosity, you will identify funding opportunities and reach new audiences. You will thrive on building strong, long-lasting relationships, cultivating donors through verbal and written communications, and managing stewardship events.

As a senior manager, you will have budget responsibility, report regularly, and mitigate under performance.You will ensure joined-up planning and delivery, developing fundraising relationships across income streams, and you will enjoy line management, collaborating with others, and leading project groups to deliver targets on deadlines. 

A typical week is expected to include at least 2 days from our Wolseley Head Office, 1-2days in Staffordshire to secure new support and meet donors, the remaining time worked remotely, with flexibility as required.

The Legacy Officer plays a vital role in securing the long-term future of the charity by administering, promoting, and stewarding the charity’s legacy programme, our largest income stream. You will support parishes and diocesan colleagues in building a culture of generosity and sustainable giving. Your key responsibilities will include:

About Us

Beginning Again is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation set up to promote the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders in order to reduce rates of re-offending and to contribute to the creation of safer communities.

It seeks to achieve its objectives primarily by providing mentoring, advice, and opportunities for gaining work experience in an outdoor setting as part of a team.

Role Purpose

This is a new, permanent role in Cumbria to implement the charity’s rehabilitation and resettlement plans to help reduce re-offending. The work we are undertaking, primarily horticultural, is currently focussed in the North West of the county but we wish to expand to other areas. The post holder will be expected to find new projects, suitable offenders and volunteers and to manage the Operations Officer. Assessing and managing risk is a crucial part of this role. Principal responsibilities and duties

Budget Management

• With the Head of Comms & Individual Giving, set annual budgets and programmes of activity, actively monitoring performance against these and adapting approach as necessary
• Plan, monitor and control expenditure as appropriate and manage income against set budget, KPIs; providing regular revised projections and narrative for the Senior Leadership Team and trustees as required
• Analyse individual giving performance, reporting as required and using the results to improve practice, including evaluation of cost effectiveness and sustainability

Communicating and building relationships

• Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with individual donors to maintain their engagement and support and ensure a stable and growing donor base
• Create compelling fundraising materials and appeals targeted at individual donors

Data management

• Utilise the charity database (RE NXT) to track donor interactions, manage gift processing and generate reports for analysis and decision making
• Work with the Finance Team, Data & Insight Officer and Supporter Care Officer to ensure accurate data recording
• Use data to identify areas of prospective growth and build plans to deliver these
• Adopt a data-led fundraising approach, segmenting data and using supporter journeys to maintain engagement and speak to people about the right products for them
• Monitor donor attrition and implement measures to mitigate disengagement

You bring a mix of strategic thinking and practical delivery, with experience developing community programmes and supporting volunteers to thrive. You are organised, collaborative and confident managing staff, volunteers and partnerships.

You are comfortable working in a busy, community-led environment, balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term development. Most importantly, you share our commitment to inclusion, participation and community voice, and are excited about helping Time & Talents grow its impact as we begin delivering our new organisational strategy.

This role is 22.5 hours per week, with flexibility for regular evening and occasional weekend working.

As Operations Manager, you’ll lead our day-to-day operations, manage and support staff, and ensure we deliver high-quality, needs-led services. You’ll help drive strategy, maintain partnerships across statutory and voluntary sectors, and contribute to fundraising initiatives that sustain and grow our impact.

Operational Manager
Location: Welwyn Garden City with travel around Hertfordshire (own transport required)             
Hours / salary: 30 hours / week. Full Time Equivalent Salary £35,000 p.a.
Pension: Viewpoint offers a defined contribution pension scheme. Contribution levels are based on Total Gross Salary Employer 5%, Employee 3%. Participation in the scheme will commence after an initial 3 month probationary period.
Annual leave:  25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays. Holiday entitlement will start to accrue after a satisfactory six month probationary period.

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to support the Chief Executive in delivering our strategy, managing staff, and ensuring operational excellence. This role is key to maintaining and growing Viewpoint’s impact across Hertfordshire, promoting user involvement, and fostering strong relationships with statutory, voluntary, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and compliance standards are met.

• Supervise and support staff, promoting professional development and wellbeing.

• Contribute to financial management, including budgeting and annual reporting.

• Promote Viewpoint’s work across Hertfordshire, building partnerships and increasing visibility.

• Support fundraising initiatives to sustain and expand our services.

• Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and recording of project outcomes.

• Stay up-to-date with national and local mental health policies, initiatives, and best practice.
