What you'll do:
* Lead on fulfilling our pipeline of potential grant, trust, foundation and corporate opportunities
* Lead on funding applications that support Look Ahead's social inclusion priorities around:
o Homes and spaces
o Health and wellbeing
o Skills, learning and work

* Lead on communicating fundraising impact, outcomes, successes and stories, working with communications colleagues

About you:
You will be highly organised, confident working with budgets and multiple stakeholders, and motivated by social impact.
You will have a minimum of 2-3 years working in fundraising, social value or bid writing.
You'll have experience in fundraising, grants, partnerships or social value delivery, with strong research, writing and coordination skills, and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
You will be an excellent bid writer with the ability to translate service need and customer aspirations into compelling, winning bids.
You may have experience of raising funds for housing associations, social landlords or organisations that are not registered charities but have charitable status or are community interest companies.
This role would suit someone looking to step into a varied, impact focused position.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
BENEFICIARIES:

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. Location:

About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Philanthropy and Relationships Manager to lead the development of our major donor programme. Building on recent strategic recommendations, you will develop and deliver a sustainable fundraising programme that grows support from mid-level and major donors.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and colleagues across the organisation, you will identify, cultivate and steward high-value supporters, creating compelling opportunities for them to invest in Kids' mission. You will play a vital role in securing significant gifts and developing long-term partnerships that help children and young people with SEND achieve their full potential.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a portfolio of supporters while helping to create a culture of philanthropy across the organisation.

Our income from Major Giving is growing rapidly, and we've started to deliver exclusive and high-impact events. We have the internal buy-in, a committed group of highly-networked supporters keen to drive our plans forward and a Board of Trustees ready to support in any way they can. We now need the right person to step in and make this happen.
You'll be our lead for all philanthropy events and you'll need to have proven experience delivering high-value, income-generating events and strong project management skills to keep these on track. A key part of your role will also be in writing reports, building relationships and keeping donors and event attendees engaged for the long-run.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who has strong experience of raising money in Northern Ireland. This is a relationship-led role that would be ideal for someone who loves working with people and understands network mapping to maximise connection to cause to accelerate income growth. You will have experience of creating strategy, winning new business, and be happiest spending significant time out and about meeting people. While you will be based in Northern Ireland with strong connection to other colleagues based in and out of the Belfast office, this role is part of the Public Fundraising team who are based across England and you'll have regular contact with colleagues in the corporate fundraising and trusts teams.

This is a new role for the charity, and it gives someone the opportunity to shape this area of work and lead on the income opportunities in Northern Ireland. But you won’t be starting from nothing; our Northern Ireland based staff and volunteer group have strong networks and brilliant ideas for supporting your success. You’ll also have support from the wider Public Fundraising team as well as the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. There is so much potential in this area and we’re looking for someone who is excited and has the skills to turn that potential into a strategy for success. And this work has never been more crucial; Arthritis UK Northern Ireland have recently published a landmark report calling for immediate action to tackle the growing musculoskeletal (MSK) health crisis in Northern Ireland, where people are waiting in pain for years to access a diagnosis and life changing surgery.
