About the Role 

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to shape and lead the Foundation’s national public affairs and influencing work during a period of maternity cover, maintaining momentum and driving meaningful change in policy and practice. 

As Head of Public Affairs, you will set direction for influencing activity across England and Wales, ensuring it is aligned to organisational priorities and continues to deliver impact. You will lead engagement with senior policymakers and political processes, acting as a credible and visible representative of the Foundation. 

Working closely with colleagues, you will ensure that influencing activity remains informed by local insight and translated into clear national priorities. You will also contribute to organisational leadership, supporting strategic direction while leading a high-performing public affairs team through this period. 

About You 

We’re looking for an experienced and credible leader with a strong background in public affairs, policy, or influencing. You will bring a track record of delivering impact at national or regional level, alongside a strong understanding of the UK political landscape. 

You will combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, with excellent relationship-building skills and experience of engaging senior stakeholders. We’re looking for a Communications Officer with experience in marketing and communications who will be part of a high-paced communications team working to engage with Christians and churches in London and beyond.

The successful candidate will:

Oversee the full production cycle of the quarterly Together prayer guide

• Together is LCM’s quarterly prayer guide, sent to thousands of supporters and used daily within the mission. It is a key point of connection between supporters and missionaries, shaping how people pray for gospel work across London.

Plan and oversee the weekly LCM online prayer meetings

• Every Tuesday evening, supporters from across the UK and beyond meet on Zoom to hear from a missionary and pray for gospel work. These online meetings have become a valued community, especially for those who cannot easily meet missionaries in person.

Support missionaries in engaging their supporters more effectively

• Missionaries rely on communities of Christians who pray, encourage, and give. Their LCM web pages help supporters understand their ministry and stay connected. The Communications Officer helps ensure these profiles are compelling, accurate, and regularly refreshed, supporting missionaries in presenting their work clearly and confidently.

Create fresh content for LCM’s communications channels

• LCM provides practical, frontline insights to equip Christians in sharing their faith, especially with marginalised communities. Throughout the year, the Communications Officer contributes written content — producing blogs, stories, and practical guidance that support and encourage believers, alongside social media content that helps extend reach.

Lead occasional cross team communications projects

• The Communications Team supports the wider organisation, regularly producing promotional materials for teams such as Training, Church Partnerships, and Supporter Partnerships.

Contribute creative ideas to shape communications and marketing content

• The Communications and Marketing Team is collaborative, creative, and committed to inspiring Christians across the UK! The Communications Officer contributes actively to idea generation — taking part in brainstorms, workshops, and planning sessions to help develop fresh, engaging approaches for external audiences.

The successful candidate will be a committed, prayerful evangelical Christian, with:

• At least 2 years' experience in a communications or marketing role (ideally with churches or church-based charities), delivering a range of integrated marketing and communications activities to engage different audiences.
• Strong grasp of branding principles and techniques and how to apply these in communications and marketing work.
• Ability to work proactively using own initiative, prioritise work and meet deadlines, with well-developed time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to write and produce engaging communications for a range of channels and audiences.
• Experience of evaluating communications or marketing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate with a wide range of people.
• Flexible approach and skilled at working in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple priorities.

This is a part-time role (0.4 FTE) with an expectation to work 2 days per week (16 hours per week), and a minimum of 1-day in the office per week. The position is a maternity cover position and will be offered on the basis of a 12-month fixed-tern contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will drive sustainable income growth through regular giving, appeals and lottery programmes generating £6–£7 million annually. You will lead multi‑channel campaigns, oversee supporter care, insight and marketing, and develop high‑performing teams to strengthen supporter relationships and enhance the LNAA brand. This permanent, full‑time role is based at our HQ and Airbase in Lincolnshire and plays a vital role in supporting our life‑saving service.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a senior management role, in-depth knowledge of running regular giving, lottery and appeals fundraising programmes, significant experience in running multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive income growth, understanding of CRM Systems and experience of building supporter or customer journeys informed by data and insight.

This role is based at our Headquarters in Lincoln, with the option of hybrid working after a probationary period, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

With nationally recognised, award-winning partnerships as our platform, matched with a record-high brand sentiment rating, a highly prominent cause and a marketplace looking for long-term strategic partnerships, we are building the team infrastructure to maximise our strong position through the launch of two developed functions – Account Development and Business Development. 

What the job involves 

You’ll lead our business development strategy for corporate partnerships, focusing on securing high-value, purpose-driven relationships with long-term potential (typically 6–8 figure), and building a robust pipeline to deliver sustainable income growth. 

• Own and deliver the business development plan, targeting major prospects and flagship partnerships with transformational potential. 

• Identify, prioritise and cultivate opportunities across key sectors (including sport and health), shifting activity from short-term, transactional asks to insight-led, multi-year partnerships. 

• Shape and test compelling funding propositions, working with internal experts (including Communications, Black Health Equity, Research, Health Services, and Equity & Improvement) to build integrated partnership offers. 

• Lead proposal development end-to-end: briefing colleagues, coordinating inputs, writing and reviewing pitches, and ensuring submissions are high quality, compelling and on time. 

• Take overall accountability for the business development pipeline: keeping it strategically aligned, properly valued, actively progressed and accurately forecast. 

• Improve performance through better pipeline discipline: growing value and volume at each stage, increasing conversion, and reducing lead times from opportunity identification to proposal submission. 

• Line manage and develop a team of three experienced Business Development Managers (including sector/specialist roles), setting clear objectives and coaching for confident, high-performance delivery. 

• Lead and support negotiations with senior stakeholders, ensuring new partnerships protect and enhance our brand, values and reputation. 

• Work closely with partnership colleagues to transition newly secured partners into account development so relationships are onboarded smoothly and set up to scale. 

What we want from you 

You’re a strategic, commercially minded new business leader who can spot and shape big opportunities, influence at senior levels, and convert complex partnership conversations into high-value, multi-year income. 

• Significant experience securing new, high-value corporate partnerships (typically 6–8 figure) in a commercial organisation, charity and/or agency environment. 

• A strong track record of delivering income through new business acquisition, with credible examples of taking prospects from first contact through to signed agreement. 

• Confidence developing high-value propositions and partnership packages that work for both the organisation and the partner. 

• Excellent pipeline management skills, with experience improving conversion rates, forecasting and proposal turnaround times. 

• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex internal decision-making. 

• Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, set clear expectations and build a high-performing specialist team. 

• A values-led approach and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, with the judgement to ensure partnerships align with and strengthen our brand. 

• Desirable: experience in sport, health, brand-led or ESG-focused partnerships, and/or developing transformational 7–8 figure partnerships.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.  We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

To ensure that Scotty’s understands and demonstrates the impact of its work — through high-quality research, meaningful measurement, and clear reporting. You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness.  

This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do.  

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Impact Measurement  

• Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes.  

• Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change.  

• Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services.  

• Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use, making effective use of Scotty’s CRM.  

Research & Insight  

• Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops.  

• Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies.  

• Design and deliver surveys to beneficiaries and the wider bereaved military community  

• Produce evidence to support service development, strategic decisions, influence national policy, and funding bids.  

• Lead our existing advisory group (for children and young people) and establish new groups as required (e.g. for adult services).  

• Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of the charity’s focus on understanding the need.  

• Ensure that Scotty’s have access to the most up to date research within the bereavement, military, Children & Young People and Family Support sectors. 

Communication of Impact  

• Create clear, accessible insight reports and data summaries for internal and external use  

• Lead the delivery of the annual Impact Report (content, structure, coordination with teams).  

• Develop quarterly insight packs for funders and stakeholders, with engaging visuals and stories.  

• Work with the Outreach Squad to ensure impact is integrated into campaigns and storytelling.  

Learning & Collaboration  

• Act as the internal ‘voice of insight’ – bringing beneficiary perspective and data into key conversations.  

• Contribute to team training on evaluation, feedback collection, and outcomes thinking.  

• Participate in cross-functional planning, especially with the Service Delivery and Outreach Squads.  

Policy (Light Touch)  

• Track key developments in bereavement, the Armed Forces, and children, young people and families policy  

• Produce brief summaries or ‘position snapshots’ where relevant to Scotty’s mission  

• Build relationships with other research and impact professionals in the sector  

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Develop a deep understanding of our current Success Measures, Impact measurements and Theory of Change.  

• Reviewing research and data produced by the charity and related external research previously published.  

• Understand the data structure and reporting capabilities of Salesforce (CRM).  

• Understand existing commitments (e.g. funder report, impact reports etc).  

• Taken ownership of our 2026 Community-wide survey (project will be handed over upon start).  

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Audit current data quality and gaps across the F-Team Programmes.  

• Worked with the Families Team to develop the first adult lived experience advisory group.   

• Reached out to relevant impact and research groups to introduce yourself, particularly those attached the military or bereavement charitable sectors.  

• Identified 1-2 relevant conferences or forums for Scotty’s to present at.  

• Build ideas, working with the Head of Service, that can help teams improve current Success Measures and Impact measurements. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Held at least 1 adult lived experience advisory group session.  

• Created and shared the first quarterly Impact Review for internal use.   

• Fully taken accountability for impact reporting and research projects within the charity and able to demonstrate a clear plan of action for the rest of the year.  

• Proposed an outline for the Annual Family Feedback Survey in September.  

• Start to co-ordinate the 2026 Impact Report 

About You 

Must-Have  

Proven experience in research and impact evaluation, ideally in the charity or public sector  

Strong skills in data collection, survey design, and analysis  

Excellent written communication and reporting skills  

Able to translate data into real-world insight  

Experience of CRM databases and producing reports from them 

Knowledge and experience of the principles of involving those with lived experience, including co-design and co-production 

Nice-to-Have  

Experience working with or around the Armed Forces community

Head of Insight and Impact is an exciting new leadership role for Home-Start UK at a critical time as we develop and prepare to launch our new, federation-wide strategy in early 2027. Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Lead the development of a shared, federation-wide approach to impact measurement, transforming how we understand, evidence and communicate the difference that Home-Start makes to babies, children and families.
• Develop and embed data systems, tools and capabilities at Home-Start UK and across our federation, aligning with and enabling delivery of our new strategy.
• Design and lead a consistent approach to monitoring and evaluating the support we provide at Home-Start UK to our federation, ensuring outcomes and learning are captured and shared.
• Lead Home-Start UK’s Impact Team and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and with local Home-Start teams, leveraging collective skills and expertise.
• In this busy and varied role, you will put insight and impact at the heart of our work. In a typical day you could be working with our data analyst to visualise and present the results of our latest National Data Return to the Executive Leadership Team, running a feedback session with local Home-Start teams piloting new outcome measures, and/or ensuring colleagues in our Fundraising Team have the insight they need for proposal development.

Ultimately, your efforts will help ensure that our movement can reach and support more families with babies and children facing their toughest times.

Sue Ryder is looking for a Digital Fundraising Manager to lead the planning and delivery of innovative digital fundraising activities that grow our supporter base and maximise income.

In this new role, you will develop and optimise multichannel fundraising campaigns across digital platforms while embedding a culture of test, learn and continuous optimisation. Working extensively with colleagues in both our fundraising and digital teams, you will ensure digital channels effectively engage supporters and drive donations.

About you:

• Strong communication, relationship, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Experience working with CMS (Wagtail preferable) and a good understanding of donations platforms (iRaiser and Access preferable).
• Knowledge of budgets and experience in reporting financial/KPI performance against targets

Essential Criteria

• Project and stakeholder management. Experience in managing parallel workstreams, multiple priorities, and complex stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrable experience of developing digital fundraising strategies and implementation plans to meet targets and KPIs in a role with substantial responsibility for driving supporter growth using a variety of digital channels.
• A proven track record of planning and delivering multichannel digital fundraising campaigns within the charity or not-for-profit sector, including but not limited, to activity across paid social media (Meta, TikTok), email, PPC, display and emerging channels. Experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager, as well as other native platform analytical tools for tracking, reporting and assisting optimisation.
• Proven knowledge and use of digital marketing tools, including email marketing and automation platforms (DotDigital would be advantageous).
• Demonstratable experience of developing paid social media campaign tracking and an understanding of the changing landscape in social media i.e. current Meta restrictions

Our Events & Communications Senior Coordinator role sits across all three of our garden sites, supporting our income generating private venue hire as well as our community facing workshops and event programme. Working closely with all parts of the organisation, this person helps to tell the story of the charity through our social media, website, newsletter and other channels.

Job Purpose: To promote the New Story Garden, Floating Garden and Paper Garden in King’s Cross and Canada Water as event spaces for private and commercial use. To be responsible for delivering the annual events plan and associated budget in order to generate a profit to be reinvested into our community and youth programmes and build of community gardens. To organise and run events in the spaces and manage a team of people where needed depending on the size of the events. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The role has 2 main strands:

1. VENUE HIRE & EVENTS Communicating venue hire and supporting partnerships with corporates and individuals to aid fundraising, and leading on the facilitation of those events

Development and strategic

• Work with the Global Generation team to deliver communication strategy highlighting the achievements and objectives of the organisation and building our brand
• Contribute to existing vision, business plan and implementation for venue hire and events at Global Generation
• Jointly responsible for ensuring that venue hire and the events programme makes a profit, working towards an agreed target

Events Planning & Delivery

• Develop, promote and deliver a programme of events in our garden sites, emphasising the uniqueness of each site, as well as assist with larger fundraising events
• Customer relations: First point of contact for new bookings and enquiries via phone and email ; Conduct site visits for potential clients
• Financial & event administration: Draw up quotes for hire costs, process and approve invoices & payments, manage events budgets, track spending and income, manage contracting, scheduling, menus, brochures and terms and conditions (parts to be carried out by Office Assistant)

Partnerships and relationships

• Actively maintain relationships and networks with individuals, organisations and developers
• Understand, value and work together with the GG team to ensure that there is a good balance between commercial priorities and community priorities, to avoid clashing with or limiting the use of spaces for educational and community events. Where possible add value by merging commercial and community.

Communications and Creative Campaigns

• Support delivery of existing communications strategy across the organisation, including monthly newsletter, regular social media schedule, practical copyediting, typesetting and design support for annual outputs.
• Create and deliver creative communication materials and publications for use in the media and online that help bring Global Generation’s work to life
• Utilise existing branding guidelines and templates to create consistent social graphics, newsletter headers and venue hire documents
