- Support the Casework Services Manager and Head of Welfare in better understanding the needs of the beneficiaries in your area to inform the commissioning of specialist services

- Work in close collaboration with other providers of welfare support services within the local area, developing an understanding of each other’s services to facilitate appropriate referrals and support

The role is primarily homebased and will have regular travel around Scotlandarea for meetings and visiting beneficiaries, therefore you will need to live in a location that allows reasonable travel around this area. There will also be occasional travel nationally to attend training or meetings.

A valid UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this role. The successful applicant will require an Enhanced DBS check to be undertaken as part of the pre employment checks process.

You will be an excellent bid writer with the ability to translate service need and customer aspirations into compelling, winning bids.
You may have experience of raising funds for housing associations, social landlords or organisations that are not registered charities but have charitable status or are community interest companies.

The Payroll Manager works with Payroll Assistant and other key stakeholders across departments to create automated process, ensure appropriate controls are in place, problem solve payroll and pension queries, and to make sure our systems are working for the organisation.

The Payroll Manager is responsible for preparing payroll outputs and reports for review; ensuring that final authorisation, sign-off and release of payroll payments are forwarded timely to senior members of the Finance and People & Culture teams, in line with agreed controls and delegated authorities. The Payroll Manager escalates exceptions, narrative for variances, policy deviations and high-risk items for decision and approval.

You will also lead and develop a team of Acquisition Managers and Officers, creating clarity, supporting high performance and embedding new ways of working across the team. International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.

As Nepal’s longest serving international NGO they continue to have ambitious plans. It is an exciting time to join INF as they enter a bold new strategic phase for 2026 to 2031.

The most disadvantaged communities in Nepal face a lack of access to healthcare, often walking for days to their nearest health post, or being unable to afford even basic treatment.

Kopila, who was diagnosed with leprosy several years ago, is a patient at INF’s Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara, Nepal.

We are looking for a Supporter Engagement Officer to join INF’s small, passionate UK team. Financial control responsibility for accurate, complete, Charity SORP compliant balances in the balance sheet. Review of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations, completeness and of income and expenditure lines and controls accounts. This includes ownership of fixed assets register, KPIs for debtor and creditors aged balances, correct processing of taxes (PAYE/NI and VAT) and banking administration.

Responsible for administering the Procurement Policy and Delegation of Authority. Manage and delegate the financial systems. This includes all aspects of systems management, continuous development and full utilisation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) cloud-based software. Lead and support system-led financial and procedural controls to elevate current practices to meet best practices in accounting and reporting as per IFRS102 and Charity SORP regulatory standards. Business partner across internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met. Achieve high level of assurance and integrity in reports including interrogation and correction as required. Support variance analysis and commentaries on all levels of reporting.

Support finance colleagues in delivery of overall Finance objectives when required i.e. absence cover and deputise for the Head of Finance.

We’re looking for an experienced trade union organiser to lead campaigns, grow our membership, support activists and deliver outstanding representation.

The role

Our 1,200 staff work across 12 UK regions and our national centre in London. Regional offices support the work of local branches, helping to represent, recruit, organise and retain members, as well as making key contributions in areas such as campaigning, strategies for negotiation and bargaining, and actions against discrimination.

As a Regional Organiser, you’ll be playing a hands on, day to day leadership role, as well as acting as an advocate of the union. Guiding, supporting and developing local branches and activists to ensure the strongest possible workplace organisation, you’ll identify activist training and development needs, provide coaching and mentoring to stewards and branch officers, and manage a small team of area/local organisers. Additionally, you will lead negotiations, represent members individually and collectively, and help branches to develop effective systems and processes for handling casework.

The person

What we’re looking for...

• An understanding of our movement, its pressures and drivers, with a passion for equality.

• Ability to provide advice and guidance on the effective organisation of key branch duties (eg maintaining membership density, activist base enhancement, supporting employers with major restructuring, maintaining confidence in union ability to influence outcomes, oversight of case work and reducing response times).

• Good knowledge of key employment law, including developing case law and upcoming changes that may affect members.

• Good understanding of the political landscape and how this might impact our approach.

• Ability to manage a team of staff, with a willingness to collaborate and to lead by example.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with proven ability to manage high level negotiations and representation of cases in challenging situations.

• Ability to build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, ability to influence and engage at all levels eg activists, democratic bodies/committees.

• Strategic project management experience, including budget management. Ability to develop strategies and solutions to solve complex problems.

This is a field based role and you will need to be able to travel in and around the South West region, including to our regional offices in Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Poole, as required and occasionally to London for training, meetings or other purposes. The South West region covers a large area from Wiltshire to Cornwall.  However, for the foreseeable future we expect this post to be based in the Bristol office and will be supporting our branches in the north of the region (Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire).
