We're looking for an organised, compassionate and proactive Fundraising Assistant to join our Legacy & In Memory Team and play a vital role in ensuring our supporters receive exceptional stewardship throughout their journey with Samaritans.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting with the development of campaigns and appeals.
• Assisting the delivery of inspiring supporter journeys for individual supporters, including thanking and stewardship processes.
• Coordinating supporter communications and follow data processes to support the programme and ensure consistency.
• Coordinating team financial procedures.

• Great communication and organisational skills
• Confidence using IT software including Microsoft Office.
• Experience of serving customers and/or supporters.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and managing financial processes would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
• Knowledge of any of the following areas would be beneficial but training will be provided: fundraising, marketing, gifts in wills and in-memory giving.

The Fundraising Officer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising activities and events. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in line with the Central London Samaritans' fundraising strategy. Responsibilities include engaging with individual donors, businesses, and community partners to secure financial support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships, Head of Branch Operations and Branch Director: Identify specific programs and funding priorities and organise targeted fundraising campaigns and events.
• Plan and Coordinate Fundraising Events and Campaigns: Oversee the planning and coordination of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
• Track and Process Pledges: Monitor, track, and process pledges made at events, ensuring records are regularly updated.
• Manage Online Donations: Oversee online donation activities, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring relevant departments and donors are informed.
• Identify Funding Opportunities: Seek local and national funding opportunities and contribute to the development of the organisation's fundraising strategy.
• Manage Fundraising Income: Maintain reports, track donations, handle donor correspondence, and evaluate the success of fundraising activities.
• Identify Partnership Opportunities: Look for partnership opportunities for joint fundraising campaigns to expand the donor base.
• Represent Central London Samaritans: Positively represent the organisation in all aspects of work, adhering to its values.

ATTRIBUTES

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Fundraising Experience: Preferably, a demonstrable track record of fundraising or related activities

Hours of work:

The basic hours are 35 hours per week spread over five working days. Within these hours there may be need to work some evenings and weekend days, so flexibility is essential. The core responsibilities should be carried out during weekdays. The amount of out of hours work will be agreed on an ongoing basis.

Time off in lieu will be allowed in agreement with the Head of Branch Operations and in line with the staff handbook and the European Working Time Directive.

Limitations:

The post holder will be required to work within the rules and regulations of Samaritans and accept the authority of the Director and the Chair of the branch’s Board of Trustees, who have discretion to delegate authority to the post holder and to withdraw it.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Pathway Manager to lead our accommodation and outreach services for young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We're seeking a confident manager with experience leading support services, safeguarding vulnerable young people, managing risk, and delivering high-quality, compliant services. Key deliverables:

• You will hold specific responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of the environment for clients, staff, visitors and volunteers through regular risk assessment, health and safety checks and reporting in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy.

• You will liaise with Depaul’s internal departments including Finance, HR, Quality and Compliance, Fundraising, Communications and Business Development as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the service.

• You will deploy and supervise the work of the volunteers who add value to the work that we do

• You will have specific responsibilities to ensure budgets are set as directed by the Executive Director of Finance and Resources, and is managed throughout the year by working with the finance team, and using its systems and processes.

• You will ensure the highest standards of support to young people is provided and that housing management is effective, and you will work to KPI targets in these areas.

• You will manage excellent local relationships, including regular meetings with commissioners, stakeholders and delivery partners such as Prime contractor and other service providers for homelessness services.

• You will undertake further duties as commensurate to the role, in line with Depaul Policies and Procedures and as identified by your line manager.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Nature and Society Advocacy Manager to join our policy team. This exciting and important new role will lead a high-performing team to shape and deliver advocacy strategies that maximise the Woodland Trust’s influence on UK national and local policy, driving nature recovery and access to trees for all. 

Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and supporters, you will develop evidence-based, practical policy solutions and identify new opportunities to influence decision-makers across key areas including nature recovery, land use, planning, infrastructure, ecosystems, access to nature, and health and wellbeing. 

This role is advertised as full-time, 37.5 hours per week, however we would consider applications from those wanting reduced hours at 30 per week. 

The Role: 

• Lead and develop the Nature and Society Advocacy team, identifying capability gaps and providing coaching, direction and support to deliver effective policy advocacy. 
• Build strong cross-organisational relationships to secure coordinated support for advocacy activities and ensure senior leaders and colleagues are effectively briefed. 
• Provide expert advice on UK and international policy developments to senior stakeholders, enabling consistent, evidence-based advocacy, communications and campaigns. 
• Develop and maintain influential relationships with government, parliamentarians, NGOs, businesses, academics, media and other key stakeholders to advance advocacy objectives. 
• Represent the Woodland Trust externally at high-level forums and with key audiences to strengthen the organisation’s influence and achieve policy outcomes. 
• Contribute to the strategic development of the Trust’s policy advocacy work and lead the development and promotion of policy positions through stakeholder engagement and media activity. 
• Commission and apply policy research, and provide specialist input to reports, consultation responses, briefings and other advocacy materials. 
• Oversee the effective delivery of advocacy projects through budget management, monitoring and evaluation, and continuous learning to maintain high-quality, up-to-date policy expertise.

The Candidate: 

• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, managing people, projects and multiple workstreams. 
• Expertise in budget management, policy research and the delivery of evidence-based advocacy programmes. 
• Significant experience in policy advocacy across nature recovery, land use and planning, and access to nature. 
• Proven ability to develop, negotiate and secure policy solutions that deliver positive outcomes for nature and society. 
• Strong track record of building and influencing senior-level internal and external stakeholder relationships. 
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and present complex issues clearly across a range of channels and media. 
• Experience designing and implementing theory of change, monitoring, evaluation and continuous learning frameworks. 
• Degree-level qualification in conservation, ecology, geography, land management, environmental or biological sciences, with a strong understanding of UK environmental and social policy, legislation, and evidence analysis.

The role

The donor experience & stewardship manager will report to the head of fundraising operations & strategy.

We are seeking a creative and driven donor experience manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will lead on creating and delivering a gold-standard experience for major donors supporting the Royal Free Charity, showcasing the impact their support has across our hospital sites. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring continued, uplifted support for the charity.

You will play an important role within our Fundraising Operations team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity, after our silent phase capital campaign launch. Your role will have a varied workload, supporting both core fundraising and campaign stewardship. The role will offer significant scope for development, giving you the opportunity to develop your skillset in a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team.

The team

Our dynamic fundraising department generated c.£4m through donations in 2025/26, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises three teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.

· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.

· Our fundraising operations team provides operational support for our fundraising and the wider charity through the provision of data and systems support, prospect research, stewardship, gift processing, reporting and governance. We underpin the work of the entire department.

About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleeping Outreach & Hub Service works across streets, transport hubs and a central support hub to ensure that no one is left facing rough sleeping alone. This is an integrated, borough-wide service focused on early engagement, reducing harm and supporting people to move away from the streets towards safety, accommodation and longer-term stability.

As an Outreach Worker, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence for people sleeping rough or at risk of rough sleeping. Working flexibly across street outreach and hub-based support on a rota basis, you’ll build meaningful relationships, carry out trauma-aware assessments and coordinate practical support that helps people take their next steps.

You’ll work within a 'No Wrong Door' approach, supporting people wherever and however they engage. That might mean meeting someone early in the morning on outreach, supporting them to access the hub later that day, or working alongside partners to remove barriers that have kept them excluded in the past.

This is a role with variety, challenge and real impact. You’ll respond to complex situations, manage risk thoughtfully, and support people through moments of crisis and change. The work can be unpredictable and includes early, late and weekend shifts as part of a 7-day rota – but you won’t be doing it alone. About the Organisation
