Blood Cancer UK is looking for a Direct Marketing Manager to deliver innovative, insight-led direct marketing campaigns that grow supporter engagement and maximize income. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team and help shape digital fundraising products and campaigns that make a real difference to people affected by blood cancer.

Based in London with hybrid working options (2–4 days per month in the office may increase dependent on business needs) this role offers hands-on campaign delivery, opportunities to develop new fundraising products, and the chance to contribute to strategic digital acquisition. About the role:

This is frontline leadership at its most real. As Team Managers in Camden’s Rough Sleeping Outreach Service, you’ll lead from the front of a service that meets people where they are — on the streets, in hotspots and through the hub — building trust, responding quickly and helping people move towards safety and stability.

You’ll be holding a fast-moving, complex service together day to day. That means overseeing outreach activity, shaping how the team responds to changing demand, and making sure people aren’t passed around but supported through a joined-up, No Wrong Door approach. You’ll guide staff through high-risk and high-pressure situations, keeping practice psychologically informed, trauma-informed and focused on what actually works for people experiencing multiple disadvantage. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in coordinating Camden’s response to severe weather, working with partners to act quickly when it matters most.

Partnerships and Best Practice Lead

Too many young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) face a sharp drop in support as they transition into adulthood. This role sits within an ambitious new programme, Ending the Cliff Edge, designed to change that.

As Partnerships and Best Practice Lead, you will play a central role in building a national, cross-sector alliance of young people, families, practitioners, organisations and service providers. Together, this alliance will drive meaningful reform and create better pathways into adulthood for disabled young people.

This is an opportunity to help shape a new initiative from the ground up—spreading best practice, testing innovative approaches, and building strong evidence of what works.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a broad collaborative partnership of cross‑sector organisations, providers, and experts to achieve collective ambition of driving improvement in transitions support.
• Refine, capture and share best‑practice models for supporting disabled young people into adulthood, ensuring they are evidence‑informed and accessible.
• Support partner organisations to design, adapt and deliver pilots that test innovative approaches and generate strong evidence of impact.

About You

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Delivery / Programme Operations Manager who thrives on delivering efficient and pragmatic processes, procedures and systems to support the impactful delivery of our growing suite of Financial Education and Wellbeing Workshops and Programmes. You will help us get stuff done! And deliver important functions and projects yourself.

As we grow the charity, it is ever more crucial that we break down silos and duplication between our two main delivery teams (Children & Young People and Adults). Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.

The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.  We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness.  

This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do.  

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Impact Measurement  

• Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes.  

• Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change.  

• Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services.  

• Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use, making effective use of Scotty’s CRM.  

Research & Insight  

• Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops.  

• Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies.

• Track key developments in bereavement, the Armed Forces, and children, young people and families policy

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Develop a deep understanding of our current Success Measures, Impact measurements and Theory of Change.  

• Reviewing research and data produced by the charity and related external research previously published.  

• Understand the data structure and reporting capabilities of Salesforce (CRM).  

• Understand existing commitments (e.g. funder report, impact reports etc).  

• Taken ownership of our 2026 Community-wide survey (project will be handed over upon start).  

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Audit current data quality and gaps across the F-Team Programmes.  

• Worked with the Families Team to develop the first adult lived experience advisory group.   

• Reached out to relevant impact and research groups to introduce yourself, particularly those attached the military or bereavement charitable sectors.  

• Identified 1-2 relevant conferences or forums for Scotty’s to present at.  

• Build ideas, working with the Head of Service, that can help teams improve current Success Measures and Impact measurements. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Held at least 1 adult lived experience advisory group session.  

• Created and shared the first quarterly Impact Review for internal use.   

• Fully taken accountability for impact reporting and research projects within the charity and able to demonstrate a clear plan of action for the rest of the year.  

• Proposed an outline for the Annual Family Feedback Survey in September.  

• Start to co-ordinate the 2026 Impact Report 

About You 

Must-Have  

Proven experience in research and impact evaluation, ideally in the charity or public sector  

Strong skills in data collection, survey design, and analysis  

Excellent written communication and reporting skills  

Able to translate data into real-world insight  

Experience of CRM databases and producing reports from them 

Knowledge and experience of the principles of involving those with lived experience, including co-design and co-production 

Nice-to-Have  

Experience working with or around the Armed Forces community  

Understanding of trauma-informed or bereavement support practices  

Experience producing Impact Reports or funding insight packs  

Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM data tools  

Some knowledge of public policy or third sector trends

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to help bring our mission and impact to life.

Reporting to the Head of Communications & Transformation, you’ll lead on high-quality, engaging communications that support our programmes, partnerships and organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and delivering social media content and managing day-to-day channels
• Producing compelling written, visual and video content, including impact case studies
• Copywriting for our website, email campaigns and publications
