About the role:

In our Women’s Respite Service in Camden, you’ll be working with women who have faced abuse, exploitation and homelessness, often after systems have let them down. You’ll be part of a space that feels different. A space where women are listened to, where their experiences are understood, and where they can begin to rebuild a sense of control over their lives.

No two days will look the same. One moment you might be de-escalating a crisis, the next you’re advocating with services, or sitting alongside someone as they begin to make sense of what they’ve been through. You’ll use your understanding of trauma, gender informed practice and the realities of violence against women and girls to shape how support is delivered, making sure every interaction is grounded in safety, dignity and respect.

You’ll hold a small but complex caseload, working intensively with women to build trust, navigate risk and move towards stability and independence. You won’t give up easily. You’ll stay curious, creative and persistent, even when progress feels slow or uncertain.

As a senior in the team, your impact goes further. You’ll lead by example, guiding colleagues through complex situations and helping to embed a way of working that truly recognises what women have experienced and what they need to move forward. You’ll help shape a service that doesn’t just respond to crisis, but creates real, lasting change.

This role is to help shape, inspire and lead a team as well as positively impact and make a difference to the lives of the people we support. 

Working with individuals with learning disabilities we are a busy 8 bed residential service. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, to adapt quickly and lead a diverse team in different and challenging situations.

We are looking for someone who is organised, pro-active, can multi-task and work on their own initiative, proficient in IT systems (or quick learner!), as well as working in a person-centred way.

The successful Service Coordinator will include overseeing care packages for the people we support (liaising with professionals and families, creating and updating support plans and risk assessments, etc), line managing staff (including but not limited to supervisions, role modelling, wellbeing check-ins, following policies and protocols, etc,).

You would be working as part of a small team where good verbal and written communication is essential. Other essential skills include the capacity to work within professional boundaries, yet meet individuals with empathy, and the ability to have difficult conversations while creating good working relationships with colleagues.

The position is full time, worked over 5 days and will require you to work regular weekends. You will be based at Crantock Drive, however an element of the position will require you to be able to get to other locations for training, meetings, etc.

Experience in a leadership role is not essential; if you have the skills identified within our advert to bring to the post, you will be considered. Support and training will be available.

You will be responsible for managing new / current corporate partner organisations to maximise product donations in line with our ambitious five-year strategy. You will be responsible for developing mutually beneficial relationships based on understanding of the “why” and matching that with the benefits of working with In Kind Direct. You will possess commercial hunger, drive, and a desire to deliver results against clear KPI’s. 

Crucially, you will have experience building new partnerships with organisations in several key categories for which you will have ownership. You will be aware of the prospective organisations’ internal and external business drivers, understand their KPI’s and know how to build propositions that excite them. You will be able to demonstrate how you have delivered results within this environment. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Partner Management: 

• Accountability for the value distributed, engagement, frequency of donation, campaign participation, financial contributions and relevant KPIs of partner portfolio. 
• Protect, nurture and grow relationships with a defined number of existing corporate partners (retail and non-retail), developing persuasive and tailored proposals, progress reports and analysis. 
• Support the shift from surplus donations to planned donations which could be through retailer/sales activations
• Use a tiered approach to prioritise and build deeper relationships, shifting from reactive to proactive planning, and develop joint business plans with priority partners. 
• Work closely with the Marketing and Charity network team to maximise corporate involvement and engagement in the events and content programme. 
• Work with several cross functional teams as required, from ecomm, finance, charity network and operations and customer service teams. 
• Negotiate contracts with corporate partners

 
Business Development 

• To research and identify suitable prospective corporate partners for securing donations of product in line with the charity and network-user needs. 
• Creativity to propose new ideas, and propositions to drive value for In Kind Direct and its network. 
• Creatively utilise In Kind Direct Campaigns, network feedback, research and data points to unlock new conversations, including retailer activations

 
Presentation and Analysis 

• Produce and develop compelling proposals and presentations for a wide range of corporate partnership audiences, from staff to senior executives. 
• Maintain accurate records, analysis & reporting of activity on in-house CRM system. 
• Maintain a strong external profile as an ambassador for the charity, whilst keeping up to date with developments in the Corporate and Charity Sector. 
• Work closely with Head of Corporate Partnerships & Head of Business Development to ensure robust forecasting of corporate accounts including accurate maintenance of product donation and corporate financial pipelines

 
To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: 

• Relevant commercial experience in sales, account management or relationship management
• Proven ability to deliver results against KPIs and targets
• Experience building strong, collaborative partnerships, including joint planning and delivery against shared objectives

We are recruiting a Queer Space Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Greenwich’s Queer Space. Queer Space is for LGBTQIA+ individuals (18+) who live or have a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health through engaging with peers.

As this service is peer-led, we are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual, with lived experience of LGBTQIA+ communities and mental health challenges, to coordinate the programme. This will include developing the service in line with service users' needs, facilitating the fortnightly sessions, and leading on project management and administration. Alongside this, we would like the Coordinator to recruit and supervise peer support volunteers to support with group facilitation.

You will have experience in group development, facilitation, and volunteer management, and an excellent understanding of service user engagement, particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. You will be highly organised and proficient with case management tasks and project management administration.

Groups will be held at the Forum at Greenwich community centre and will take place twice a month, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. 

The role is for two 7.5 hour days per month, until 31 March 2027.

The Role

The Research Policy and Partnerships Officer monitors UK research policy and governance developments, synthesises evidence and supports preparation of clear internal briefings, policy statements and consultation responses.

Reporting to the Research Policy and Partnerships Manager, the role helps ensure the Association’s research portfolio and the Research Academy remain well aligned to national frameworks and governance standards, and that lived experience is appropriately reflected in system facing outputs.

The role also supports the Research Policy and Partnerships Manager in building and maintain partnerships with research funders, medical research charities, academic institutions and health system leaders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct structured horizon scanning across NIHR, UKRI, REF, AMRC guidance and other charity funders to identify opportunities.
• Maintain a stakeholder and policy activity map; coordinate inputs for meetings with key partners, funders/sector bodies.
• Collate and integrate lived experience evidence in policy work (with Involvement colleagues).
• Support partnerships with research funders, medical research charities, academic institutions and health system leaders, coordinating meetings, shared resources and monitoring commitments and agreements

You will:

• Be educated to degree level in a science, health, social science or related discipline
• Have experience of collaborative working with senior internal and external stakeholders, supporting partnership building in research, clinical and/or voluntary sectors

The Felix Project and FareShare have recently merged to form the UK's largest food redistribution charity. Its vision is a UK where good food is never wasted, and nobody goes hungry.

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives.

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job  

The Quality and Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our systems by carrying out testing activity for enhancements across Salesforce, Dynamics and Business Central. The role supports the smooth delivery of changes by combining structured testing with targeted service support, including triage of incoming issues and resolution of tickets.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• reating test plans based on user requirements with the Service Manager to enable testing to be done by the wider business.
• Create clear documentation regarding test outcomes, learnings from the enhancements and suggestions to improve them moving forward.
• Work proactively with the business to understand key systems and how they work.
• Be an internal point of contact between the business and our external IT provider by assisting in approval, information gathering to ensure smooth service.
• Support the Service Manager to ensure that tickets are managed and resolved within a timely manner.
• Monitor recurring issues and share insights that help improve system quality and inform future enhancements.
• Work with the business and the Service desk manager to understand prioritisation of work and assist in working out return on investment of required work.

About the Service 

The Multiple Disadvantage role is aimed at providing specialist support services to women living in refuge with multiple needs, who have experienced domestic, or sexual violence and who have mental illness or use substances problematically. You will liaise with partner agencies ensuring services delivered are of the highest standard in line with the organisation aims and objectives.

About the Role 

You'll be working with women in refuge across two London boroughs if applying for the 37.5hrs creating tailored support plans to address their immediate practical and emotional needs. This includes conducting risk assessments and safety plans, helping with benefits and budgeting, and exploring pathways for resettlement. You'll also promote social inclusion, encourage independence, and help women build resilience. Ultimately, you'll be creating a support network and enabling engagement with other services.

About You 

You have hands-on experience in specialist support services, working directly with women and families facing multiple challenges. Your case work has focused on offering proactive and emotional support to women recovering from domestic abuse. You are adept at collaborating with various agencies, always approaching these partnerships with a professional and proactive attitude.

Job Purpose:

The post’s primary focus is to provide specialist education advice primarily by telephone and email, to parent carers with disabled children in the UK. The post holder will be working on the Contact national helpline service. Service hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm.

Main Duties:

To respond professionally and with empathy to incoming calls, emails, web form and social media enquiries on SEND and related education issues.

To deal effectively with enquiries by offering specialist education advice, information and relevant signposting.

To provide, information and signposting on the wider concerns of families with disabled children including health and social care.

To build positive working relationships with colleagues, contributing to a culture of mutual respect, trust, and shared responsibility.

To work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing and supporting colleagues to deliver a reliable and responsive helpline service.

To respect diverse experiences and perspectives within the team and contribute constructively to problem‑solving and decision‑making.

To enter accurate enquiry data on the Contact database in a timely manner ensuring appropriate follow up actions to calls and accurate written notes.

To keep up to date on law and guidance relevant to education in England and to be aware of education law relating to Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

To communicate, be flexible and responsive, with team members, to ensure coverage of the helpline rota.

To ensure the helpline operates in accordance with confidentiality, safeguarding, privacy and data-protection policies and procedures.

To provide a high-quality service, with commitment to ongoing service development, improvement and good practice.

 General duties

In common with all Contact staff, the post holder will be expected to work in accordance with the aims of Contact and to observe the policy and procedures set out by the directors of the charity.

The post holder will be expected to assist with any reasonable duty at the request of the line manager for the post.

Staff will be expected to attend and participate in Contact staff meetings and the staff annual conference.

Staff will be expected to attend training events relevant to their specific responsibilities.
