This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible to lead this team of marketeers, media and communication specialists, working in partnership with all levels of the Army Cadets organisation.

We are looking for a marketing professional to:

· Actively maintain high levels of public awareness of the Army Cadets, its aims and activities, in support of the attracting more cadets and suitable adult volunteers to the organisation.

· Demonstrate the value and relevance of the Army Cadets to help retain and extend the current level of financial and other support from Defence, local communities and key stakeholders.

· Deliver effective and timely national external communications through a range of channels to promote the aims and activities of the Army Cadets.

· Drive effective internal communications to members of the Army Cadets to support the planning and delivery of cadet activity.

· Provide support and expert guidance to those delivering external and internal communications at the national, regional and local levels in the Army Cadets.

· Modernise the Army Cadets communications offerings to ensure keep up with consistent updates in the media & marketing space.

Essential Skills

· A recognised qualification or proven success in communications and / or marketing.

· Hands on digital marketing / communications experience

· Experience of PR and communicating with the media to generate positive coverage for the Army Cadets.

· The ability to work effectively as part of a broader team within a complex, multi-site organisation.

The Role of Director of Property

Effective management of clergy housing and glebe assets is critical to supporting mission and ministry across the Diocese which covers Coventry, Warwickshire and part of Solihull.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Purpose 

We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.

Areas of work and responsibility

• Administrative Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
• Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
• Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.
• Provide administrative support for governance processes such as the Annual Financial Audit, Trustee Board meetings, the Charity Commission and Companies House submissions.
• Provide administrative support to the organising and running fundraising activities and events.
• Administrative support and coordination for the annual planning of Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications programmes. 
• Organise, provide administrative support, and attend as appropriate, weekly operational meetings, monthly Executive meetings, and other project meetings, led by the CEO. Our client, The Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) is an affiliate What Works Centre, and part of the UK Government’s What Works Movement. Their vision is to eliminate equality gaps in higher education (HE). Their mission is to improve lives through evidence-informed practice.

​TASO was set up in 2019 and became an independent charity in April 2021. Their work focuses on the generation, synthesis and dissemination of high-quality evidence about effective practice in widening participation and student outcomes. They primarily focus on developing and disseminating causal evidence.

​Role:

​The Chief Research Officer will ensure the smooth and successful delivery of TASO’s Research & Evaluation programme, with overall responsibility for TASO’s Research and Evaluation budget. This will involve managing the staff involved in these functions to deliver TASO’s research, evaluation, synthesis and evidence mobilisation activities to time and within budget.
 
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the postholder will help shape TASO’s overall strategic direction and translate this into a clear programme of research and evaluation activity. They will lead and manage the teams responsible for research and evaluation to ensure that TASO’s strategies are delivered effectively on time and within budget.
 
The role includes overseeing the delivery of TASO’s research programmes, ensuring compliance, managing research funding rounds, and maintaining strong oversight of subcontracted work. The Chief Research Officer will also oversee the development and implementation of TASO’s evaluation strategy, including the commissioning and monitoring of evaluations and the effective functioning of governance mechanisms such as the Research Sub-committee and Evaluation Advisory Panel.

About the role

The Social Media & Stories Manager provides organisational leadership for the Refugee Council’s social media and storytelling function, ensuring that digital communications inspire action, shift public attitudes, and amplify the voices of people with lived experience. Our Administrative Assistant sits at heart of Trauma Recovery CIC, coordinating client enquiries and referrals, supporting the client facing team and working with our Operations Lead to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

Trauma Recovery CIC’s Administrative Assistant is central to the organisation. The person in this role supports the
people accessing our services, the client facing team to provide the services, and the leadership team to ensure
accurate reporting to understand trends, needs and secure future funding.

They will coordinate referrals, booking initial appointments and sending information by email and post to those
who use the service and the professionals supporting them.

To support the team, they will ensure that the client management system runs smoothly, provide administrative
support and where possible tech support to the client facing team and ensure that records are accurate and up to
date.

To support the leadership team, they may coordinate events, research local services, support with completing
reports and funding applications and day to day ensure that communication between team members is clear.

They will have experience of working within a non-profit organisation.

We are looking for an extraordinary person to become the Service Coordinator of the friendly teams in our Mental Health Supported Living services which are located across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

The successful Service Coordinator(s) will lead the team in enabling individuals with complex mental health needs to create their own developmental programme with the aim of progressing to further independent living. This will include supporting people to develop the strategies that underpin resilience, to learn the responsibilities of citizenship, to acquire practical living skills and establish themselves within the community of their choice.

You will be a creative and inspirational leader with great listening skills who will empower every individual in your team to be their best self at work. You will have an excellent understanding of person-centred approaches and be committed to proactively promoting the psychological and emotional well-being of those you support.

You will work closely with the 2 Service Managers and Service Coordinator who work in the Mental Health Supported Living division to maintain and develop each service as a high-quality provision for the people we are supporting. You will ensure all services remain compliant with the legislation that governs the sector while demonstrating and evidencing that both services provide excellent support for people.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the services which will include planning and managing the rota to ensure that people get the support they need when they need it.
• Guiding the team to co- write and review support and risk management plans, ensuring that the people we support are at the centre of the process.
• Supervising staff, providing regular one to supervisions, organising team meetings, identifying and maximizing opportunities to develop the skills of each individual in the team and ensuring that their training is up to date.
• Participating in referrals and assessments for the service.
• Working within a set budget and monitoring expenditure as appropriate.
• Providing “hands-on” and direct support for the people we support

The successful candidate will:

• Have strong leadership skills, ideally with some management experience.
• Be organised and practical, able to manage your time prioritise work in accordance with the imperatives of the service.
• Be competent in using IT applications, such as rota planning systems, or be able to learn these swiftly.
• Have experience of working in mental health, particularly working with people who have complex mental health needs.
• Be confident in responding to people who are experiencing acute mental illness, in dynamic risk management and developing escalation plans to ensure that people receive the support that they need.
• Have knowledge of mental health systems, processes and best practice with experience of working with trauma informed approaches.
• Be able to work across 7 days and be able to work a variety of shift patterns

The Role

As our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will lead efforts to secure and diversify funding, building a sustainable resource base to support our global mission.

Leading the Fundraising and Business Development Team, you will drive the implementation of our resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on increasing non-ODA income and expanding flexible and programmatic funding.

Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, finance, research and impact teams, you will help close funding gaps by developing strong donor relationships, negotiating funding agreements and shaping compelling funding propositions.

Alongside collaborating with the Director of Fundraising and Communications and supporting engagement with the Board of Trustees, you will manage systems, data and internal processes that strengthen fundraising performance and ensure effective delivery.

Additionally, you will:

- Gather and share intelligence on trends within the funding landscape
- Generate new fundraising ideas and opportunities with existing and new funders
- Support teams to develop fundraising plans, donor scoping and funding bids
- Analyse data to inform fundraising strategies and income generation
- Design and manage internal fundraising support processes and systems
- Oversee the team budget and support staff development and wellbeing

About You

To be considered as our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will need:

- Significant experience leading fundraising functions in an international NGO or charity
- A proven, impressive track record in fundraising
- Experience in partnership and consortium development
- Management experience with the ability to co-ordinate, support, motivate, energise and develop diverse teams
- The ability to design and deliver income-generation strategies across multiple streams
- A strong understanding of the evolving landscape of finance and resource mobilisation for sustainable development
- A strong understanding of policy and research related to sustainable development at an international level, particularly related to Africa, Asia and/or Latin America
- Strong influencing, negotiating, stakeholder engagement and diplomacy skills
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- The willingness and ability to travel internationally

Our 16+ Older Looked After Young People (OLYP), Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) services delivers specialist 24-hour supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team.

As a Supported Housing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring our accommodation is safe, welcoming and secure. You will work closely with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager, while supporting the wider team to deliver consistent, compassionate support.

-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times.

-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:

- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

-- Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations that add value to the core, commissioned service (or have the potential to) attending relevant multi-disciplinary meetings as needed.

-- General: Be a member of the out of hours ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to services in the wider locality.

You will have proven experience in overseeing safeguarding procedures within residential services and will model professional standards, maintain clear boundaries while foster a culture of trust, safety and supportive relationships.

You will have proven experience in social services or a related support focused field and must have a strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and regulatory compliance standards. You will be Educated to A level/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in relevant subjects, or equivalent through relevant CPD training/experience relating to housing, support work, and/or working with young people or adults at risk.
