The opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Finance to join us at this important stage. This is a senior leadership role, working closely with the Director, Director of Commerce and Business Transformation, Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

You will shape financial strategy, support high-level decision-making and ensure the Gallery remains financially sustainable, well-governed and able to deliver its ambitions. The role combines strategic oversight with operational leadership, requiring sound judgement and the ability to work across a complex organisation.

The role
You will lead the Gallery’s financial strategy and planning, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management. You will provide clear financial insight to support senior decision-making and oversee high-quality reporting.

You will ensure strong financial governance and compliance with Charity SORP, manage risk, and lead the annual audit. You will also oversee tax and regulatory matters, including VAT, PAYE and Gift Aid, and manage relationships with auditors, banks and funders.

You will lead and develop the Finance Team, while supporting financial understanding across the organisation. As part of the senior leadership group, you will help shape priorities and ensure resources are aligned to deliver impact.

About you
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with senior-level experience. Experience in the charity or cultural sector is helpful but not essential.

You will bring strong expertise in financial strategy, planning and governance, and be confident advising Boards or Trustees. You will be able to translate complex financial information into clear insight and build effective relationships across the organisation.

Purpose of the job

Responsibilities:

1. Casework – The post-holder will carry a specialist caseload, providing advice and casework covering the full range of debt issues and solutions. This includes but is not limited to, dealing with emergencies, making use of the Breathing Space scheme, making offers of repayment, drafting financial statements, advising on insolvency options and providing budgeting advice. They will ensure that income maximisation is carried out and refer to other in-house advisers or specialist agencies as appropriate.

Advice will be delivered through a variety of channels including face to face (drop-in and appointments), telephone or digital channels and must conform to the Citizens Advice Quality of Advice standards and funder requirements. 2. Administration - they will be responsible for ensuring that an efficient system of administration for all work is in place and that advice is provided in accordance with quality requirements, with cases recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Professional Development - they will be responsible for sharing knowledge and best practice with colleagues to improve the quality of advice and will be expected to keep up to date with relevant legislation, case law, policies and procedures through regular internal and external training. They may be required to provide training to internal staff or external organisations where appropriate.

4. Research & Campaigning – they will assist with research and campaigns work by providing information about clients' circumstances through the appropriate channel, regularly reviewing their work to highlight common or significant issues.

5. External Links – they will develop positive links with external organisations and may represent CASNS at meetings or events.

Qualifications

1. They will be accredited to MaPS Caseworker level or be close to achieving this.

Essential

1. The successful applicant will demonstrate that they understand the aims and principles of CASNS.

Knowledge and Experience

1. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of debt advice and casework.

An internationally recognised cultural organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide clear financial leadership during a critical period of organisational transition and transformation.

This is a high-profile opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who can bring strategic insight across the charity's multiple income streams. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Interim CFO will act as a key strategic adviser to the executive leadership team and Board. JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR is looking for an ambitious and proactive fundraiser to work in a Senior Philanthropy Officer role for up to one year’s maternity cover. This role will manage its own portfolio of low to mid-level trusts and foundations and will play a key role in supporting the Senior Trusts & Foundations Manager on the engagement and stewardship of our high-level partnerships, as well as supporting on the delivery of a high-quality supporter experience.

You will be joining the charity at an exciting moment, becoming part of a small but high performing team with big ambitions. This role is integral to the development of our Trusts and Foundations Programme.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and determined and who enjoys working collaboratively within and across teams, building relationships and inspiring people to support UNHCR’s lifesaving work. You’ll have strong problem solving and communication skills, both written and oral. You’ll be passionate about the refugee cause and UK for UNHCR’s role in supporting refugees around the globe.

Working with our international colleagues, this role will gather information for reports, donor communications and proposals on UNHCR’s key areas of work.

This role will also work across the team to support on growing the trusts and foundations pipeline, through identifying and then building relationships with trusts and foundations aligned with our cause.

Role Responsibilities  

• Work as part of the Private Partnerships and Philanthropy Team (PPH) to develop new opportunities with trusts and foundations in line with UK for UNHCR’s fundraising strategy. This will include supporting and leading initiatives to approach potential supporters.
• Support the development and management of a robust trusts & foundations pipeline and a calendar of opportunities for grant submissions to trusts and foundations.
• Undertake detailed prospect research and identify the most appropriate funding and fundraising opportunities for trusts and foundations.
• Support the development of high-quality concept notes, proposals, reports, and other fundraising products.
• Ensure current partners are stewarded to a high standard
• Support, and at times lead, on cultivation and stewardship events across the PPH team. This could be anything from a webinar to an in-person event for 50+ people.
• Support and lead on the development and execution of strong cultivation and stewardship plans, taking responsibility for keeping these updated and reviewed.
• Help establish an appropriate strategic and tactical response to trust and foundation prospects and supporters in the event of humanitarian emergencies.
• Maintain the Salesforce database with up-to-date and accurate information on trust and foundation prospects and partners.
• Help to raise awareness of, and build vital support for, UK for UNHCR’s unique position to protect refugees and displaced people.

London Landmarks Half Marathon Communications & Engagement Officer

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is looking for a creative, highly organised Communications & Engagement Officer to help shape how we connect with participants, communities and partners. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we look ahead to our 10th anniversary in 2027.

This role is ideal for a strong storyteller who enjoys creating clear, compelling content across multiple channels. You’ll turn ideas into high-quality communications, manage multiple workstreams at pace, and ensure everything is accurate, consistent and on brand. About the role:
