About the role
As Awards Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of award data, timely donor audit financial compliance, and donor confidence. Reporting to the Awards Finance Manager and working alongside 2 other Awards Finance Analysts, you'll be supporting the management of around 400 active awards, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust reconciliations and compliance with donor and audit requirements.
This is a varied role that combines award management knowledge with strong financial analysis and controls. As a Children Sessional Play Worker, you will be involved in the planning and delivery of a variety of sessions and activities for children and young people at the refuge. This includes listening to children’s ideas to design services around their needs, choices, and aspirations. You will work alongside the Family Support Worker, encouraging all children to take part and have as much fun as possible whilst helping to develop children's learning, well-being, and social skills.
About You
You will have experience of working with children and you are passionate about play as well as dedicated to providing a welcoming and safe space for all children - supervising the children and ensuring their safety at all times.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on children as well as practical experience of working with children and within a team. The NEST service provides trauma informed, community-based support to young women and girls aged 14-25 at risk of entering or becoming entrenched in the Criminal Justice System. The role of the NEST Advocate is to provide dedicated one-to-one support to young women and girls, building trusted relationships and coordinating practical support to build their confidence and help stabilise their lives across areas including education, housing, health, employment and interaction with justice services.
As a YWG Senior Advocate you will be responsible for managing a small caseload of young women and girls, while also supervising two YWG Advocates, providing formal and informal supervision and support. This will include oversight of safeguarding for the girls and young women they work with and supporting the quality control of the service, including regular dip-checks and data input.
