The Communications Officer plays a significant role in the support of the delivery of AmplifyChange’s communications strategy. They are key to ensuring that AmplifyChange’s key messages and brand are effectively implemented across all of our communications channels. The Communications Officer will report to and work closely with the Communications Manager and in partnership with other teams to support content development for multiple platforms (AmplifyChange’s main website and AmplifyChange Learn, in particular), social media management, and linking and learning opportunities.

The Communications Officer will have an appetite to creatively profile and showcase the work of AmplifyChange grantee partners and support knowledge sharing opportunities. While AmplifyChange has an established set of communications channels and methodologies to share our work and the work of our grantee partners, fresh ideas and perspectives are welcomed and encouraged. The Communications Officer will be comfortable working independently and taking initiative but there will be support available from the Communications Manager and other teams where required.

AmplifyChange is a bilingual fund, working in English and French. As this role centres on effective communications across our channels to all our grantees in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions, a professional level of written French and comfort speaking the language is essential.

This role would be well suited to someone interested in pursuing a career in communications, content development and/or social media management, who has a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, and/or international development.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Publications and campaigns

• With the Communications Manager, develop content calendars for the year in line with costed workplan
• Support in the creative development and execution of cause day campaigns – e.g., 16 Days to end Violence against Women, International Youth Day, etc.
• Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop blogs, impact reports and other external materials
• Support the development of Grantee Stories and case studies, working with grantee partners to identify and write stories of change
• Provide editing, drafting, and reviewing support for content in line with AmplifyChange’s tone of voice and language
• Support development of Annual Report and other donor reports, where needed

Digital and social media

• Manage the daily oversight of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, LinkedIn)
• Disseminate news and information about AmplifyChange, such as published reports and upcoming funding rounds, through social media channels and Circle (interactive grantee partner platform)
• Create and execute social media campaigns using tools like Canva, including developing and drafting content

Linking and learning

• Provide logistical support to AmplifyChange’s engagement in external events, both online and physical
• Provide support and creative input into the development of learning materials for AmplifyChange Learn, including written, visual and audio
• Work with grantee partners in the development of content for AmplifyChange Learn
• Support the assessment of learning needs for content development, including through analytics tools where useful
• Support dissemination of content through email management platform (Constant Contact)
• Update website data as needed

Support to other teams

• Work with Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to identify and collect data to support website updates, reporting, and impact report development
• Work with Learning and Events Officer to support identification and development of potential learning materials and resources for AmplifyChange Learn and Circle platform
• Support Grants Management and Pamoja teams to identify stories of change and case studies from the overall AmplifyChange grants portfolio

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential: 

• Strong copy-editing, proofing, verbal and written communications skills in English
• Demonstrable experience working with social media platforms and support tools (such as Canva) and creating content for these platforms
• Demonstrable experience with blogging, writing reports or articles aimed at communicating key messages, and/or storytelling
• Professional-level spoken and written French
• Values consistent with the mission of AmplifyChange, including pro-choice on abortion and pro-LGBTIQ rights
• Ability to work flexibly, prioritise tasks and requests from multiple diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those based in other countries
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Desirable: 

• A degree in communications, marketing, or English
• Demonstrable experience with multimedia development, such as videos or podcasts
• Experience using Google Analytics or other analytics tools
• Experience working with or for civil society organisations in Africa or South Asia

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS 

This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Communications Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. Young Citizens is seeking a Business Development and Special Projects Lead to support a critical year of fundraising, income generation and partnership development. Your Role’s Purpose

Year 1 of this role will be focused on business model development, income generation and strategic partnerships. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, you will help shape, test and secure new funding and commercial opportunities that position Young Citizens for long-term sustainability and impact. The special projects element includes supporting the developmental design of our future business model, charity strategy and public affairs work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, creating and working at pace to achieve great results within a small team. You will be rapidly developing propositions, forging partnerships and converting ideas into credible, funded initiatives. You will play a central role in strengthening our relationships with funders, institutions, corporates and sector partners, while supporting wider organisational development projects.

In Year 1, your primary focus will be to:

• Develop and drive income/fundraising with existing channels, including grant funding, partnerships and commercial activity.
• Build a strong pipeline of income opportunities, working closely with the CEO to convert prospects into funding
• Produce high-quality business cases, funding bids, proposals and presentations of our work
• Design and execute new funding models and partnership opportunities alongside the CEO’s updated strategic plan
• Lead staff member for strategic engagement with funders, corporates, policymakers and sector stakeholders.

Alongside this, you will contribute to priority special projects that support Young Citizens’ organisational growth and external positioning.

The Bikeability Trust is entering a new exciting phase of our strategy to 2035 to ensure more children can cycle with confidence. We're recruiting a New Partnerships Manager to be responsible for proactively identifying, prospecting, and cultivating leads in key sectors to secure new 5-6 figure, multi-year corporate partnerships with local and national businesses.

What does this role do?

As New Partnerships Manager, you'll:

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target,
• support the Senior New Partnerships Manager in the identification and cultivation of new corporate partnerships, accessing a range of income streams and budget holders,
• support senior team members in attending meetings with potential corporate partners, including preparing relevant briefs in advance,
• prepare relevant and creative applications and proposals for pitches for potential corporate partners,

The Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering Youth Futures Foundation’s Employer Strategy.

Corporate Partnerships Manager

City Year UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager to drive new business and nurture existing corporate relationships.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint an Operations Officer to help build and scale our social enterprise. You will report to the Head of Operations. Operations Officers are a crucial part of our Services Team. You will be the main point of contact for our partner charities, receiving referrals for personalised budgets and processing these on a weekly basis. You’ll be responsible for managing incoming cases, liaising with support workers, providing advice and guidance about each case, light touch financial support, and releasing personalised budgets to clients across our contracts. You’ll work closely with our partners around the UK to ensure our personalised budgets reach as many people as possible and our contracts are a success. 

The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organised, possesses excellent attention to detail, confident in communicating to partners and at ease delivering presentations. We’re looking for people who are proactive, restless for change and want to be part of an innovative solution to ending homelessness for good. 

About Greater Change

Founded in 2018 by Alex McCallion and Jonathan Tan, Greater Change is an innovative social enterprise focused on helping people overcome the financial barriers on their pathway out of homelessness using personalised budgets. We partner with charities and support workers who refer people to us who would benefit from our financial support. The personalised budgets (supported cash transfers) we provide are typically for rent deposits, ID documents, training courses etc.

On average, Greater Change spends £1400 per individual and last year 85% of the people we supported sustained their move into stable housing, saving the public purse over £41,000 per person per annum.

Our goal is ultimately to use personalised budgets as a dignified and effective tool to end homelessness.

Main Responsibilities

1. Manage referrals end to end, including receiving, triaging, and processing cases to ensure timely release of funds to partner organisations.

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on our CRM to track referrals, case progress, and outcomes.

3. Provide financial case planning support for each referral, using a strengths-based approach to support individuals to move away from homelessness.

4. Process weekly payments and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls.

5. Liaise closely with support workers in partner organisations to progress referrals and resolve issues.

6. Onboard, train, and support partner charities, including scoping calls, delivery of training sessions, workshops, and bespoke support and resources.

7. Ensure high-quality partnership management across all contracts, including the development of tailored resources as required.

8. Prepare operational and monitoring reports for partner organisations, lead partners, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy and process.
• Proven partnership-building skills, with the confidence and ability to build new relationships and maintain existing partnerships with charities.
• Confident public speaker, with experience delivering presentations and facilitating onboarding sessions, workshops, online drop-ins, and training sessions.
• Proactive approach to communication, including confidence in picking up the phone, engaging support workers, and visiting partner organisations in person.
• Experience writing reports, collecting and analysing data, and communicating findings to a range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrable passion for, and commitment to, disrupting the current housing system and ending homelessness for good.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience

In addition to the essential skills, we are especially keen to hear from candidates who are able to meet some, or any, of the additional experience requirements below:

• Previous experience working in the housing and/or homelessness sector, either at charities, local authorities or similar.
• Previous experience managing and tracking cases, especially supporting vulnerable clients to reach their goals or a positive outcome. 
• A good understanding of the housing system, homelessness, benefits processes and services which support people who are precariously housed. 
• Strong IT skills in particular G-Suite, Canva and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems, in particular Salesforce.

The Fundraising Officer will drive the growth and diversification of income for both The Police Treatment Centres and The Police Children’s Charity. The role is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a range of fundraising channels—including third-party fundraising, grants and trusts, charity lottery and corporate sponsorship. About the Role

As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will drive Baytree’s corporate fundraising by developing innovative partnership opportunities, nurturing strong relationships, and securing income and strategic support. You will work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Director to shape and deliver the organisation’s corporate partnerships strategy. This is a hands‑on and impact‑driven role for someone who enjoys relationship‑building, strategic thinking, and contributing to a mission supporting women and girls.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Acquisition & Stewardship

• Identify, secure, and grow new corporate partnerships delivering income, pro bono support, gifts‑in‑kind, and strategic value.
• Create compelling pitches, proposals, and case studies.
• Steward existing partners and produce high‑quality impact reports.

Fundraising Campaigns & Events

• Lead the planning and delivery of major fundraising campaigns (e.g., The Big Give, Baytree anniversaries).

Cross‑Team Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams to align partnerships with organisational priorities.
• Coordinate with service delivery to offer opportunities such as career insight days and work experience.
• Partner with the Volunteer Manager to deliver purposeful corporate volunteering.

Responsible for the safe delivery and environment of the Osborne Centre (both Partners and staff) delivering a range of quality services for our Partners (service users) and ensuring that the management systems are in place and operational.

Qualification(s) Level: Applicants with Level(s) 5 Leadership & Management  Social Care/ Education/ Health (particularly with adults with learning disabilities) or similar qualifications (including degree equivalents or better), are especially welcome however we will consider applicants with alternative qualifications and experience subject to expressly agreeing to upskill on the job and provided there is an evidentiary trail that can show evidence of a caring mentality and empathy with our service user group and or in a home care environment or other learning type institution.

Overall purpose:

To manage all aspects of the ‘Operations’ of Osborne Partnership and supporting the strategic development of the organisation alongside the Chief Executive to ensure a  fully functional and operational service for the overall benefit of our Partners (service users) day learning and support development as per the Charities aims and objectives of Education, Skills Attainment, and Employability Skills for adults with learning disabilities.  

To actively train and support Partners to gain independence skills, life skills, and other skills through a ‘mixed ability’ support service that includes supporting the training of Partners through formal qualifications (Entry level NVQ teaching & support), on the job training, and internal qualifications and benchmarks.

To ensure that the service is:

- Properly monitored and utilising an internal database for the recording of information (Storii);

- Delivered on the basis of an agreed organisational and service Scheme of Works/ Service Plan as well as Partner Individual Learning Plans (ILPs);

- Reviewing Partner progress on a quarterly basis showing ‘distance travelled’ by individual Partners;

- Serviced by managed, trained and motivated staff;

- Delivered under the highest standards of health & safety and safeguarding welfare for our Partners.

Role:

To develop, support and deliver the day to day operations of the Osborne Partnership, in partnership with other senior Managers, and Service Managers, with a particular focus on the quality agenda as it relates to Partner services, service development, benchmarking, and external accreditations. The role will ensure that Partner services are engaged in a cycle of continuous review and improvements and providing Service Managers with the tools and support to deliver the highest standards of service through building confidence and expertise, and identifying service and personal development training where appropriate.

Main Duties:

1. To support the development and best practice of all Osborne Partnership service areas to ensure relevant, meaningful, and objective focused delivery for Partners.

2. To work with the relevant Service Managers and Project Supoort Officers (PSOs) to review current service delivery and to provide an objective, supportive, but challenging voice in the development of services.

3. To benchmark Osborne Partnership services and delivery against similar services in the borough and wider afield.

4. Working with other senior managers, identify and action new service areas of delivery commensurate with the Osborne Partnership Memorandum and Articles of Association and subject to Partners consultation and approval.

5. To identify, research, and action plan frontline external accreditations that will provide a objectifiable list of outcomes that will support and benefit Partners; staff development; and the professional standing of the Osborne Partnership.

6. To support senior managers in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as they may relate to updated legislation; new service provision; Partners welfare, safety and development; staff development and benefits; or any other relevant area of service.

7. To line manage (including appraisals) relevant Service Managers as leaders of services ensuring that they understand the concept of continuous improvement and are supporting Project Support Officers (PSOs) to do likewise.

8. To ensure that Service Managers have identified and developed service schemes of work, annual development training plans for Service Managers and their PSOs in line with continuous improvement principles and to ensure best practice activities for Partners.

9. To work with senior managers to identify and action activities/ services/ initiatives/ documents/ plans that will support the on-going professionalisation and modernisation agenda of the Osborne Partnership

10. To actively support other senior managers in the day to day delivery of the Osborne Centre service provision ensuring health and safety at work principles are adhered to; safeguarding of Partners is paramount; that staff are adequately prepped and prepared for delivery of their services; and that a professional service approach is adhered to at all times.

11. To be the primary development Officer of the Storri database as it relates to Osborne Partnership, information gathering (and mindful of GDPR), and Partmner journeys travelled in the service.

12. To identify personal development opportunities and requirements as dictated by the role.

13. Any other reasonable task as defined as a management role and directed from time to time by the Chief Executive. 

14. To undergo training necessary in relation to the requirements of the post.

15. To undertake any other duties consistent with the overall purpose of the post within the competence of the post holder.

The following skills, experience and qualities are required for the position of Operations Manager:

ESSENTIAL

5. A good general education, sufficient to communicate verbally in a clear manner, and to complete monitoring forms and write reports in a clear and concise manner.

DESIRABLE

1. Qualification in Leadership & Management at Level 5 (or above) and willingness to train in other areas relevant to working with vulnerable adults (see below).

2. Ability to break down tasks into achievable steps for an individual with learning difficulties.

3. Training/ qualification in areas relevant to working with vulnerable adults, e.g. Safeguarding, Lifting & Handling, more general Health & Safety, etc.

Youth Hub Lead

We fund and support pioneering early-career scientists around the world, giving them the tools, mentoring and Formula 1-inspired mindset to accelerate breakthroughs. From the UK to the USA, Australia to South Africa, our researchers are rethinking how dementia research is done – applying data science, AI and engineering to neuroscience in bold, collaborative ways.

This role sits within Race Against Dementia’s small, dynamic Operations team, who oversee the charity’s research programmes and internal processes. The team is responsible for managing Race Against Dementia’s research portfolio – from coordinating funding calls and supporting the selection of the projects we fund, to delivering the training and development programme for our researchers.

Purpose of the role

The Research Officer plays a central role in delivering Race Against Dementia’s research activity, helping to strengthen our research programmes and support the researchers we fund. The role combines strong organisational skills with clear science communication: coordinating processes, systems and partnerships to ensure smooth delivery, while translating research progress into accessible updates for internal and external audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

Research administration:

• Manage the administration of all grant calls and related processes.
• Coordinate all incoming communications regarding research matters, ensuring timely, professional responses.
• Maintain team calendars and shared resources to support smooth team operations.
• Set up review sessions with Race Against Dementia Fellows to monitor progress.
• Support preparation of updates and progress reports for charity Trustees, funders and supporters.
• Work with the Research Manager to coordinate training activities for Race Against Dementia researchers.
• Support the planning and delivery of the annual in-person training event for Race Against Dementia researchers.
• Work closely with Race Against Dementia’s research partners and training partners to coordinate joint activities, communication, and ensure smooth delivery of collaborative projects and training activities.
• Undertake research to identify new organisations aligned with our mission.

Science communications

• Track key developments in dementia research and emerging trends in the field.
• Support the creation of research related social media content for the charity’s social media channels.
• Support the development of press materials to announce research updates and milestones.
• Contribute to copywriting and content development for the Race Against Dementia’s website.
• Work with the Research Manager to ensure the wider team is kept up to date with research developments across our network and the wider field.
• Help build and maintain a network of key dementia research stakeholders across academia and charities.

• To attend, where appropriate, local, regional and national meetings/events.
• To maintain a good knowledge of national and local initiatives which are of benefit to Race Against Dementia.
