Working arrangements

The Suicide Bereavement Specialist Manager leads and manages a team of approximately 10–12 Suicide Bereavement Specialists, providing strong and supportive management alongside clear professional accountability and oversight of practice.

Deliver high quality cricket programmes that will empower young people facing inequality to make positive choices, improve their health and wellbeing
Salary: £17,046.54 per annum (This is equivalent to a full-time effective salary of £28,410.90). We are an accredited member of the Living Wage Foundation.
Location: Unseen’s head office in Bristol with ad hoc UK travel (Hybrid approach with some working from home days. A degree of flexibility will be required). Please note this role requires the postholder to attend the Bristol office at least once a week.
Contract type: Permanent – This role is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (funding secured until 2029).
Hours: Part-time – 22.5 hours per week (based on a full-time week of 37.5 hours). Hours to be worked Mon-Friday 9am-5pm, with a requirement to work on Wednesdays.

The Survivor Involvement Coordinator will support the continuous improvement of Unseen’s service delivery and support our research and policy influence work through the facilitation of the Unseen Survivor Consultant group.
You will work closely with Unseen’s Policy & Research team and have regular interactions with staff across Unseen’s wider teams including Business Services, Helpline Services, Support Services, Fundraising, Communications, and Operations. You will also support external researchers and stakeholders to collaborate with the Unseen Survivor Consultants.

The Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Project Development Co‑ordinator working in the North-East / Yorkshire area.
You will play a key role in delivering NEA’s work programme across the region, leading on stakeholder engagement, community outreach and direct support to low‑income and vulnerable households. Travel within the region and occasionally beyond will be required.
This is an exciting opportunity to:
· Lead and deliver impactful projects during a critical time for household energy needs
· Build strong partnerships with local authorities, housing providers and community organisations
· Provide one‑to‑one energy and fuel debt advice to householders
· Deliver group awareness sessions and upskilling activities
· Oversee project outputs, outcomes and reporting to funders
· Support the development of new programmes, including funding proposals and presentations

What you will need to succeed
You will bring:
· Demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in energy efficiency, community development, housing, social policy or related fields
· An understanding of the environmental, social and economic challenges facing deprived communities

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable or disadvantaged households

· Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency (desirable)
This role is ordinarily hybrid, based at NEA’s Newcastle office, but we can offer hybrid or fully remote working depending on your home location. Some national travel will be required from time to time to meet partners and attend events. The successful post holder will also be expected to travel throughout the North East and Yorkshire to meet stakeholders and deliver community outreach activities.
Hybrid and home working arrangements are subject to necessary health and safety and GDPR checks. Post holders must be resident within the UK and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK. Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

· £35,017 to £39,829 per annum (Levels 6-7, Points 23 – 28). New appointments will usually begin at the starting point of the scale.

Young Carers Support and Development Worker

Full time (35 hours per week)
The role:
You will work across three key age groups, 5–11, 12–16 and 16-25, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed as well as being required to plan and facilitate a weekly After School club for ages 5-11 and 12-16. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers and Young Adult Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers.
Skills and experience:
The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational and communication skills, be confident organising trips and activities for children and experience working with children. They will be able to manage conflicting demands with tight deadlines, be a key team player and be committed to working with Young Carers and volunteers.
They will have excellent IT skills and be able to adapt to providing services both face to face and via virtual platforms, whilst maintaining a consistent service for Carers.
