About the Role

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, insurance, uni money and much more. Children and young people love having the chance to talk about money, ask questions and think about what they are going to do with theirs!

We are looking to recruit a member of staff to help carry out the day-to-day management of the Workshop content, resources and delivery through our freelance trainer network, as well as deliver some Workshops directly to children and young people themselves. The applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring The Money Charity’s Financial Education work is carried out efficiently and to the best standards, with opportunity for in-role development and professional growth. 

We are looking for somebody with the drive and initiative to take this area of work forward as we seek to grow our delivery levels and reach in 2027 and 2028. The applicant should have fantastic presentational skills, enjoy being creative, and be confident in a classroom environment. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing children and young people with life skills, as well as supporting the charity’s aims and objectives. The applicant must be able to work under pressure, deliver tasks to an agreed timescale and have the ability to manage their own workload, as well as working as part of our small, supportive team.

This varied role will provide an excellent opportunity for the applicant to influence and deliver our flagship, evidence-based programme with national reach, whilst also being able to enjoy the buzz of being in the classroom regularly themselves.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Information and Education Manager to lead our patient information and education work, ensuring people affected by pulmonary fibrosis can access clear, accurate, trusted and accessible information when they need it most.

This is a strategic and hands-on role. You will shape APF’s information and education offer across digital, print and live formats, develop and improve patient information, lead a review of our website content, and ensure our resources remain evidence-based, accessible and shaped by lived experience.

You will also oversee our education programme and line manage our Education and Events Co-ordinator, helping us deliver high-quality events and education that respond to the needs of people affected by pulmonary fibrosis.

We are looking for someone with strong experience in health information, patient education or health content. You will be an excellent writer and editor, able to make complex information clear and accessible, with the strategic thinking and project management skills to turn insight and evidence into practical improvements.

You'll deliver persuasive verbal and written representations on their behalf, collaborate with a wide variety of professionals, and take directed actions to address clients' issues. Independent Advocate Requirements:

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships. 

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.   

Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role

The Development Director (Philanthropy) provides strategic leadership across Impetus’ philanthropy and stewardship portfolio, with responsibility for relationship management, renewal, growth and selected new business activity. The postholder will work with high-value funders, including corporate partners, trusts and foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.

In 25/26, the Philanthropy and Partnerships team generated £11m in philanthropic income, alongside £2.8m in pro bono contributions. The Development Director will play a key role in delivering Impetus’ growth ambitions, supporting the increase in philanthropic income to £14m by 2029. 

Working closely with the Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the role will translate the fundraising strategy into clear stewardship, renewal, relationship-growth and selected new business plans, ensuring strong donor retention, high-quality engagement and sustainable growth in high-value income.

Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the postholder will oversee the donor lifecycle across the philanthropy portfolio, with particular focus on strategic stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and the effective transition of selected prospects into long-term donor relationships. They will personally lead and support significant six and seven-figure donor relationships and selected funding opportunities, while working with colleagues to ensure the philanthropy pipeline, stewardship plans and account management disciplines are strong.

Working collaboratively across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team and with colleagues across the organisation, the Development Director will ensure a joined-up approach to donor stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and selected donor acquisition, maximising income, partnership value and long-term impact within the agreed fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Management & Growth

• Own and oversee strategically significant donor and partner relationships at six and seven-figure levels, ensuring high levels of retention, satisfaction, trust, income growth and long-term value.
• Set and embed best practice stewardship standards, ensuring donors receive timely, consistent, high-quality and relevant engagement and communications throughout their relationship with Impetus.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth transition between new business, and long-term stewardship.
• Ensure account plans for priority donors and partners include clear renewal and growth pathways; engagement and risk-management plans.
• Act as senior relationship owner where required, modelling strong stewardship and coaching the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to navigate complex or sensitive relationships.

New Business: Pipeline & Conversion 

• Personally lead on select six and seven-figure level priority prospects and strategic funding opportunities, managing the full fundraising cycle from qualification to close.
• Work with trustees, senior volunteers and networks to support warm introductions, relationship development and follow-up, in line with agreed new business and stewardship priorities.
• Work with colleagues to translate Impetus’ impact, evidence base and venture philanthropy model into compelling propositions for donors, prospects and priority audiences.

Performance and KPI Reporting

• Accountable for ensuring effective implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of fundraising performance frameworks, KPIs and reporting disciplines.
• Use performance data and insight to improve team effectiveness, inform portfolio planning and resource recommendations, and identify opportunities for retention, renewal and growth.
• Oversee philanthropy portfolio data quality, reporting and forecasting, ensuring robust systems and processes.
• Ensure robust systems, processes and performance disciplines are in place to support delivery of agreed philanthropy portfolio objectives and wider fundraising goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and evidence-led decision-making across the philanthropy portfolio and direct team.

Donor Communications

• Provide strategic oversight of donor communications for the philanthropy portfolio, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, timely and aligned to Impetus’ voice, values and evidence base.
• Work with Communications and Philanthropy colleagues to design and continuously improve philanthropic communications, including cases for support, proposals, pitches, stewardship materials and donor updates.

Leadership and Team Performance

• Line manage and develop the Head of Philanthropy, providing direction, coaching and performance oversight within agreed strategy and priorities.
• Develop the Head of Philanthropy as the operational lead for stewardship, ensuring capability, succession and high performance across their team.
• Set clear objectives and success measures for stewardship, renewal, relationship growth and portfolio delivery, aligned to Impetus’ wider income strategy.
• Build and sustain an inclusive, evidence-led and high-performing culture across the philanthropy portfolio, balancing pace and ambition with quality, learning and collaboration.
• Build fundraising and stewardship capability across the team through coaching and consistent, fair and high-quality performance management, including objective-setting, feedback and development planning.

Pro Bono, Events, Volunteering & Partnership Value

• Ensure engagement opportunities, including volunteering, pro bono and events, strengthen donor relationships, partnership value and long-term income growth through strong collaboration with colleagues.

Operational Excellence, Governance & Risk

• Ensure philanthropy and selected new business activity complies with due diligence, gift acceptance and risk management requirements.
• Oversee accurate philanthropy pipeline reporting, forecasting and performance tracking, using Salesforce and other systems to ensure insight informs portfolio planning and decision-making.
• Work with Finance and Operations to ensure income is contracted, invoiced, and reported accurately and on time in line with financial controls.
• Identify and escalate strategic, financial or reputational risks associated with donors, prospects and partnerships.

Cross-Organisational Leadership & Representation

• Act as a senior ambassador for Impetus, representing the organisation credibly with new donors, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, income planning, and senior leadership discussions.
• Lead philanthropic work on Impetus funds including identifying funding opportunities and risks; shaping prospect pipelines; contributing to cases for support and donor presentations; and develop fund stewardship.
• Champion collaboration across the Philanthropy team, ensuring opportunities are shared, relationships are well managed and expertise is used to maximise income and impact.
• Model Impetus’ values, evidence-led approach and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion across the philanthropy portfolio.

Strategic Leadership

• Work in partnership with the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships to contribute to the fundraising strategy.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans, objectives and delivery, ensuring stewardship, renewal and relationship growth contribute to organisational priorities, income targets and long-term growth ambitions.
• Provide strategic oversight of philanthropy portfolio forecasting, budgeting input, pipeline performance and resource recommendations, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and escalated proactively.

Essential:

Fundraising & new business leadership

• Significant experience in major donor and/or corporate fundraising at six and seven-figure gift level, with a strong track record of securing new income and managing complex partnerships.
• Ability to lead and personally deliver the full fundraising cycle, from prospecting and cultivation through to solicitation, negotiation, and close.
• Proven experience of building, managing, and converting a new business pipeline, balancing ambition with delivery.

The Opportunity

ESCIP is a one-year proof of concept designed to strengthen how community experience and VCSE intelligence inform local decision-making. It connects voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations with health, local authority and wider partners, creating stronger two-way feedback between communities and decision-makers.

This is not primarily an administrative post. You will build trusted relationships, coordinate a new quarterly forum, develop practical ways to gather and synthesise intelligence, and demonstrate how insight has influenced priorities and action. Because the programme is new, you will have genuine scope to shape how it works.

What You Will Achieve

Over the first 12 months, you will:

• Establish a quarterly East Surrey VCSE and Community Forum.
• Build trusted relationships with diverse VCSE organisations, including smaller groups and under-represented communities.
• Develop and test practical two-way feedback mechanisms between communities, VCSE partners and system leaders.
• Map intelligence sources and introduce consistent approaches to gathering and synthesising insight.
• Produce concise briefings highlighting emerging themes and implications for decision-makers.
• Maintain strategic relationships across health, local government, housing and neighbourhood partners.
• Support independent evaluation and contribute to the case for Year 2.

Working Arrangements

Who Are We Looking For? 

We are seeking an experienced Associate Trainer to deliver high-quality training and workshops across Northern Ireland on behalf of Ygam as and when required. Although remote working, they would need to be living in NI for travel and delivery purposes. This position is offered on a self-employed associate basis (contract for services). The post holder will facilitate engaging learning experiences, maintain high standards of safeguarding and quality assurance, and contribute to Ygam's mission by helping professionals understand and respond to gaming and gambling-related harms affecting children and young people.

Main Role and Responsibilities

The Assistant Finance and Operations Manager is a new role for The Christie Charity (Charity) and a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to work for a fast moving, growing organisation. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take ownership in the finance team for day-to-day transactional processing for The Christie Charity group. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop an understanding of charity and commercial finance. You will play a key role in supporting robust financial controls across the Charity group.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day transactional activity undertaken by the Finance Officers, including purchase-to-pay, supplier payments, accounts receivable, banking, income reconciliation, corporate credit cards and other routine financial processes. The postholder will ensure work is completed accurately and within required timescales, review key reconciliations and outstanding items, and provide support and guidance to the Finance Officers where issues arise. They will remain actively involved in transactional processing where required, particularly in relation to more complex matters, periods of high workload and the transition of activities into the Charity.

The postholder will act as the first point of escalation for transactional matters which cannot be readily resolved by the Finance Officers and as a key point of contact for routine finance queries from external third parties. The Assistant Finance and Operations Manager will be an important day-to-day user of the Charity's finance and purchase-to-pay systems and will take a lead operational role in ensuring these systems are used consistently and effectively. The Community Education and Prevention Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Community Education and Prevention work, shaping how we deliver prevention, engagement and survivor participation across London in response to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

As Community Education and Prevention Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team working across community outreach, prevention education and survivor involvement. You will ensure all work is grounded in Black feminist, intersectional, trauma-informed and anti-racist practice, and that survivor experience is central to how programmes are designed, delivered and developed.

You will oversee a portfolio of work delivered across key partnerships, including initiatives focused on Black and Global Majority young women, pan-London sexual violence prevention collaboration, and WGN’s wider survivor participation and engagement activity.

Job purpose

The PSA is a membership body with over 1000 members. The Membership & Programmes Officer is a key and multi-faceted role within in a small but dynamic team.

You will be responsibe for overseeing all aspects of the PSA membership. This will include communicating with current and prospective members, encouraging them to take up the full range of membership benefits and to participate in association activities so that they enjoy a high-quality member experience. Your role includes three core areas outlined below. These are three distinct but interlinked areas of responsibility which will involve working with/alongside other members of the team, and which will be guided by the direction of the Membership, Events & Programmes Manager.

Main responsibilities

Membership

1. The principal contact for all membership services

• As principal membership officer, you will be responsible for dealing with current and prospective members: managing membership registrations, renewals, queries re payments and general membership enquiries. This will include responding to communications from members and non-members within 48 hours of receipt
• You will be responsible for updating and managing the membership database (Oomi); producing membership data, and troubleshooting any joining/renewing issues for members
• You will be responsible for ensuring a successful member journey throughout sign-up, engagement, and renewals. Understanding, and reviewing, the member journey across our different platforms to ensure a smooth and consistent process is achieved
• You will be responsible for creating and sending the monthly membership e-newsletter (using our mailing platform, Brevo)
• You will be responsible for collating and reconciling membership data, including data cleansing  and other tasks as advised by the Head of Membership, Events & Communications or the Head of Operations & Finance
• You will work closely with the PSA Finance Officer to ensure all processes for receiving membership subscriptions are effective and accurate, including online membership payments by credit card and Direct Debits

Specialist Groups and Networks

2. To support our specialist groups and member networks

• The PSA currently has 48 unique specialist groups that represent key subject/policy areas within political studies. The PSA also has two member networks dedicated to Early Career academics and those engaged in Teaching and Learning. As Membership & Programmes Officer you will be the primary contact for specialist groups, and will be responsible for:
• Managing the specialist groups inbox and ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner, and consulting with colleagues on queries/actions where necessary
• Supporting specialist groups with their PSA website pages and access to their CRM database portal, in line with the guidelines provided, and creating/updating guidelines where necessary.
• Supporting the creation of new specialist groups, briefing group convenors ensuring they have the guidance and support needed to fulfil their role
• Supporting the Teaching and Learning, and Early Career networks by assisting with network communications, newsletters and network data where/when necessary. The networks are overseen by the Membership, Events & Programmes Manager

PSA Programmes

3. To support PSA annual programmes which include the PSA annual international conference, PSA prizes and other member-orientated activities throughout the year.

• Each year the PSA awards a number of prestigous prizes to PSA members by way of recognising and rewarding excellence and impact across Political Studies. You will be responsible for supporting the Membership, Events & Programmes Manager with delivery of the PSA’s prizes, including collating submissions and and producing prize winners’ certificates
• You may be asked to support other longstanding PSA programme initiatives such as the House of Commons Internship opportunity, Teachers CPD event at Parliament and the PSA Student Blogs competition
• Supporting other programmes to develop membership benefits and growth, such as schools/teachers innitiatives as/when required

The PSA Annual Conference

• The PSA organises and delivers a large scale international academic conference, which usually attracts 800 – 1000 delegates. The next annual conference will be taking place at the University of Hull from 22 – 24 March 2027. Because of the scale of this event, and the size of the team, all members are expected to be involved in aspects of confrence planning and delivery, including attending the event itself.

Specific tasks regarding the PSA Annual Conference may include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the annual conference, which can include: responding to delegate enquiries, sharing information with delegates, reconciling accepted presenters and registrations, assisting with exhibitor communications, producing relevant data, assisting with venue planning and logistics and playing a key role within the team on-site for the three day conference
• Supporting colleagues with communications to specialist groups regarding their role at annual conference, particularly around their proposed AGMs

• Overseeing delegate badges – collating data and liaising with suppliers and courriers. Supporting conference registration and checking registration data, particularly in relation to membersip discounts
• Assisting with the production of online conference information and the delegate guide

The new KidsCan Connect programme aims to create moments of connection for children experiencing cancer and their families. The main areas of activity will be:

Community Programme - The Community Programme will provide accessible, inclusive activities for children, young people, and their families. The focus is on delivering a varied, geographically distributed calendar of events which will support families to develop networks of others with lived experience.

Hospital Activity Programme - The Hospital Activity Programme aims to enhance the inpatient experience through structured, co-created activities that support wellbeing and creativity. Starting at Manchester Children’s Hospital, and developed with NHS Staff, this programme will aim to make children and families’ time on the wards more pleasant.

Future flagship event - There are plans for a flagship event in the future (2027 onwards), which would form a core component of the programme. The Flagship Event is envisioned as a multi day, campus based gathering that brings families together for celebration, learning, creativity, and support.

The KidsCan Connect Lead will work closely with the Charity Manager in order to establish this exciting programme, organise and run activities and to create new ways to support young people and their families. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following a stroke.

The service aims to identify and provide key worker support to meet the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway. Providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

The Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About you:

You will:

• Have a background in a caring and/or charity profession supporting people with disabilities.
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve joint ambitions.
• Have experience of working with people who may have additional communication support needs.
• Be proficient in using Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel and experience using IT systems to record and maintain beneficiary data.

This role requires extensive travel across the Isle of Wight to visit people at home and in community settings. Travel to the mainland will also be required for regular team meetings and other work-related meetings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.

As Nepal’s longest serving international NGO they continue to have ambitious plans. It is an exciting time to join INF as they enter a bold new strategic phase for 2026 to 2031.

The most disadvantaged communities in Nepal face a lack of access to healthcare, often walking for days to their nearest health post, or being unable to afford even basic treatment.

Kopila, who was diagnosed with leprosy several years ago, is a patient at INF’s Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara, Nepal.

We are looking for a Trusts Officer to join their small, passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure INF UK’s key supporters feel valued and connected with the charity. In partnership with Nepali organisations you will support marginalised people to overcome the barriers they face due to issues such as disability, poverty, gender or caste.

The Role

As Trusts Officer you will report directly to the Philanthropy and Trusts Manager, supporting them to deliver the highest level of stewardship to donors.

As part of the Fundraising and Communications team, you will make an important contribution towards the development of income from major donors and trusts and foundations.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Write engaging, high quality, tailored applications and funder reports.
• Research trust, foundation and grant-giving prospects to develop a prospect pipeline.
• Ensure key supporters feel valued and connected with the charity.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, administration and budgets.

The Person

We are looking for someone who aligns with INF’s values and is passionately committed to their cause. You must be creative, compassionate and empathetic.

This role requires exceptional organisation and the ability to work proactively with initiative. As a small team being approachable, supportive and working collaboratively is key. Proven experience of building successful relationships both internally and externally is also vital, as well as exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Prior experience in trusts fundraising would be advantageous, however an understanding of how your skills and experience would be transferable in the role would also be considered.

A new senior post in the Development Team, the Head of Trusts & Foundations will be responsible for cultivating and growing income from both private and statutory funding bodies, implementing and delivering a new strategy for this vital income stream for the theatre, maintaining and growing our income in exciting, innovative, and strategic ways through high-quality, persuasive applications, alongside stewarding existing relationships to ensure the highest level of care for those already supporting us.

As Head of Trusts & Foundations, you will play a vital role in securing income towards these projects (currently over £300,000 is generated through Trust & Foundation revenue), driven by a strategic insight into this income stream and the opportunities our work presents. In this role, you will be central to ensuring revenue targets are met each year, elevating our income, in addition creating a pipeline of Capital prospects with a view to the theatre undertaking significant essential works over the next 3 years.
