CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
CoppaFeel! is seeking an inspiring and strategic Fundraising Director to lead our fundraising activity and help to drive the next phase of our growth.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy, ensuring a strong, diverse and sustainable income portfolio that enables us to reach more people and move closer to a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed early. Leading and supporting a newly formed but high performing team, you’ll oversee new business development, high value corporate partnerships and outstanding stewardship of our supporters. Working closely with the CEO and colleagues across the organisation you’ll set ambitious targets, identify opportunities for growth and champion long term, values aligned partnerships.
CoppaFeel! has experienced a period of exceptional financial growth, increasing income from £1.6m to £7m in 5 years, driven in large part by the success of our partnership with Asda. This has placed the organisation in a strong and exciting position with the opportunity to build for the long term, diversify our income, and significantly increase our impact.
The Fundraising Director will provide bold, strategic leadership to shape the next phase of CoppaFeel!’s growth, evolving our fundraising model, reducing reliance on any single income stream and ensuring long term sustainability. This role is about setting vision, unlocking opportunity and embedding fundraising as a strategic, organisation wide function. While oversight of day to day fundraising performance remains important, this role is fundamentally future focused building resilience and driving innovation.
This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in our offices based in London Bridge. This role sits within our Senior Management Team and reports into the CEO.
Duties and responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Work as part of the CoppaFeel! SMT shaping the organisational strategy, culture and cross departmental ways of working
- Set and lead an ambitious, multi year fundraising vision aligned to CoppaFeel!’s organisational strategy and impact goals
- Develop and support the Fundraising Team in the delivery of the fundraising strategy to ensure long term sustainability and maximum impact
- Provide strong, clear and consistent leadership through a period of growth, transformation and increasing complexity
- Champion innovation, testing and learning across all fundraising streams to unlock new opportunities and audiences
- Work collaboratively across all departments to ensure that fundraising is integrated across the organisation and aligned with our organisational delivery
Governance
- Work closely with the SMT to develop strategic recommendations for the Board of Trustees and support effective governance
- Development of the 3 year budget, including regular reforecasting and longer term projections to inform investment and growth decisions
- Analyse and monitor the ROI of across all income streams, using insight to drive decision making!
- Take on fundraising related governance responsibilities, including attendance at Finance Committee meetings and contributing to the annual report.
- Provide confident, strategic leadership on financial risk, opportunity and sustainability
Fundraising
- Drive the delivery of CoppaFeel!'s growth strategy, including achieving fundraising targets across multiple fundraising streams
- Develop new strategies and adapt existing ones in response to external trends, audience insight and organisational priorities
- Support the Asda partnership at a strategic level, ensuring income is stewarded effectively and impact is clearly reported
- Oversee and empower the Department Heads in the implementation and optimitisation of the fundraising strategy
- Lead the diversification of income, reducing reliance on any single partner or activity and building a resilient, balanced fundraising portfolio Identify and develop fundraising opportunities that are accessible, inclusive and engaging for 18–24-year-olds and priority audiences
Sector representation
- Act as a visible ambassador for CoppaFeel! within the fundraising sector
- Build CoppaFeel!’s fundraising credibility through conference speaking, thought leadership, award entries and sector engagement
General duties of a CoppaFeel! employee
- To work cooperatively, respectfully and effectively with colleagues to ensure CoppaFeel! achieves its annual strategy
- Update database with relevant contacts
- To assist in identifying and highlighting key external trends which are relevant to the Charity’s operation and provide relevant advice
- To participate, as appropriate, in staff forums and meetings

- To be flexible with working hours and be willing to work weekend hours where appropriate (i.e. fundraising events) where time off in lieu will be rewarded

Skills and attributes
Essential
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to represent CoppaFeel! credibly at the highest levels
- Experience operating successfully at a strategic leadership level within a medium sized or large organisation
- A proven, creative and commercial approach to income generation, underpinned by strong market insight
- Strong financial acumen, with confidence in budget management, forecasting and ROI analysis
- Experience reshaping or diversifying a fundraising portfolio
- Experience working closely with and presenting to a Board of Trustees and senior stakeholders

- Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timelines
- Coordinate key grant management processes including: Go/No-Go, due diligence, funding agreement review, grant kick off and grant management meetings, narrative and financial reporting and renewals.
- Deliver compelling, impactful and timely proposals and reports, and broker the relationship between programmes and the funder
- Maintain excellent relationships with funders through timely communications in relation to the work they support

Senior Early Diagnosis Programme Manager
The Senior Early Diagnosis Programme Manager is a key role as we develop and evolve our early diagnosis programmes at Bowel Cancer UK. The role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the charity’s awareness and engagement programmes and the new Bowel Towns programme. This role will manage a multi-disciplinary team delivering programmes that improve cancer awareness, empower communities, and drive earlier diagnosis.
In addition, as the charity’s services lead for Northern Ireland (NI), the post holder will build high-impact partnerships and develop a regional plan to enhance awareness, early detection, and support for people affected by cancer. You’ll work closely with the Head of Services and Support to ensure our early diagnosis services are impactful, inclusive, and evidence-based.

Purpose of the job
This post will form part of Thames21’s Catchment Partnership team. The successful candidate will host/ co-host river catchment partnerships and will be responsible for each partnership’s strategic development and expansion, working towards the successful delivery of the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) to improving rivers.
You will work with multiple stakeholders and communities to manage and deliver river improvement projects across Oxfordshire and the mid-Thames region. This role is instrumental in developing and delivering a suite of projects, from citizen science water quality schemes to river habitat restoration and natural flood management, helping to implement Thames21’s vision and 5-year plan for healthy, thriving rivers across the Thames Basin.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The officer will be expected to deliver across five priority areas:
1. Deliver small-scale river improvement projects
To deliver small-scale natural flood management, invasive species removal and habitat restoration projects, often with the aid of our volunteers and external contractors. You will also co-ordinate our citizen science water quality testing network in the region.
2. Develop diverse, representative, collaborative and delivery focused partnerships
To work autonomously and proactively to seek out and positively engage strategic stakeholders within each catchment area, building the influence and capacity of the Catchment Partnership network to deliver improvements for rivers and local communities. These stakeholders will include (but not limited to) community groups, landowners, eNGOs, local authorities, government agencies, citizen scientists and water companies.
3. Work with partnership networks to identify, develop and fundraise for river catchment improvement projects
To draw on their knowledge of what makes a river catchment healthy to develop ambitious and impactful catchment improvement project proposals that meet the targets of Thames21’s 5-year plan and the relevant catchment plan. Once identified, the successful candidate will be required to work with relevant Thames21 teams and external partners to successfully fundraise for the development and delivery of these projects.
4. Bring together identified projects into detailed, deliverable catchment and sub-catchment plans, monitoring progress against these.
The catchment partnership officer will be responsible for developing deliverable project proposals, catchment and sub catchment plans that draw together projects identified across the catchment/sub-catchment area with landowner and stakeholder support. These plans will clearly articulate priority projects required for delivery to external readers. Where necessary, the catchment partnership officer may be required to support and lead on the delivery of river improvement projects, managing project deadlines and budgets.
5. Break down silos by sharing information and bringing people together; in a way that is catchment wide, cross boundary and across multiple organisations.
The catchment partnership officer will be expected to share knowledge, news, funding opportunities and project progress between stakeholders through meetings, site visits, email newsletters and quarterly meetings of the whole Catchment Partnership (which the Officer will have the responsibility of arranging, coordinating and chairing, including the production of agendas, minutes and actions). The catchment partnership officer will be expected to communicate the work of their catchment partnership networks externally at relevant forums, including the Thames Catchment Forum and strategic community events.

About Chapter One
Chapter One is a small but growing charity, working to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

About the role

Neotree: The Digital Learning Health System
Neotree is an award-winning digital learning health system co-designed with frontline clinicians to end preventable newborn deaths in low-resource settings. Our open-source platform integrates real-time, knowledge-based clinical decision support (CDS), structured data capture, and visual dashboards into routine neonatal care. Currently active in 18 healthcare facilities, Neotree has supported care for 60,000 newborns and trained over 3,000 health workers to date. Neotree is the only platform of its kind with a defined pathway to embed AI-enabled decision support into routine neonatal care in sub-Saharan Africa.
Neotree: The Charity
The UK charity was established by core members of the University College London (UCL) Neotree research project to maximise the impact of their research on the quality of newborn care and newborn mortality. After five years of rapid growth and proven clinical impact, Neotree is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead our next chapter. Having evolved from an innovative research pilot into a multi-country digital health intervention, integrated into routine neonatal care in Malawi and Zimbabwe, Neotree is poised for national-scale rollout and scale up, alongside rigorous ongoing monitoring and evaluation.
The Opportunity: Impact at Scale
By 2030 the ambition is for Neotree to be a fully integrated, sustainable standard of care across Malawi and Zimbabwe, having been handed over to, and owned by, their respective Ministries of Health. The incoming Executive Director will lead this transition, shifting the organisation from a research-led implementation partner to one able to scale up a digital public good (currently a DPGA Nominee with a full submission for DPG designation under review).
While the technological landscape, and specific delivery modules, will evolve, the Executive Director will ensure Neotree remains a safe, cost-effective, equitable, and evidence-based system that is successfully embedded within national digital health infrastructures.
The Executive Director's success will be measured collaboratively, focusing on KPIs related to impact and sustainability, and they will work alongside experienced clinical, technical, and academic leads.

4.3. Tech Strategy & Interoperability: Lead the development and execution of Neotree's digital strategy. A key focus will be driving the roadmap for system interoperability to ensure Neotree is a future-proofed platform. 4.4. Fundraising Strategy: Design and deliver a diverse fundraising strategy that further moves the organisation toward financial resilience and reduced dependence on major academic grants.

The new Executive Director will focus on the following key priorities during their initial 12-18 months:
1. Successful Project Delivery & Ministry of Health Partnerships. Ensure successful delivery of the projects currently in flight, in both Malawi and Zimbabwe. This includes partnerships with the Ministries of Health in both countries to build and hand over neonatal modules in their EHR systems based on Neotree, and support their successful rollout.
2. Strategic Plan Development. Develop a 3-5 year plan with the Board, academic partners, and wider project team to build on our existing foundation to expand Neotree – including addressing research gaps, using AI to improve clinical decision support, and finding ways to expand the adoption of the technology in Zimbabwe, Malawi, and beyond. Sustainability is a core part of that strategy.
3. Strategic Plan Execution. Execute on that plan, including securing funding, building partnerships, and further developing the Neotree team.

The Role
As CEO, you will lead the UK team of Together We Learn and work in close partnership with the Ethiopian team, providing guidance and support to enable them to deliver programmes to a high standard. You will provide overall leadership for the charity, with responsibility for fundraising and stakeholder engagement, oversight of programmes, and management of finance and operations.
The annual turnover of Together We Learn is £350,000, and you will be responsible for line managing two staff in the UK and occasional interns, as well as supporting our Ethiopian partner, who has 15 programme and 8 support staff working across two regional offices: Gondar in the Amhara region and Addis Ababa in the Oromia region. The charity is managed by an experienced board of 5 trustees who meet quarterly and provide ad hoc support in their professional areas of expertise.
The charity is in a stable position with funds secured for the current year and a fundraising plan in place for the year ahead. You will have a detailed handover to enable you to carry out the varied functions required by the role and will be supported in these by the Programmes Manager and Sponsorship Coordinator. You will report to the board on a quarterly basis.
Our current three-year strategy focuses on building the capacity of our Ethiopian partner so that they can take a greater role in leading the organisation. This runs through our approach in all aspects of our work, and specific targets have been identified to help us achieve this goal over the strategic period. About You
We’re looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with a strong grasp of individual giving and a collaborative approach. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience delivering successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns in the charity sector
- Strong skills in supporter stewardship and donor retention
- Experience of managing budgets, teams and external suppliers
- A creative, data-driven approach to growing income
- Excellent communication skills

Global Disciples International is a rapidly growing mission movement that equips clusters of local churches—primarily in Africa, Asia, and Latin America—to train local believers as disciple-makers, enabling them to share the Gospel, multiply disciples, and plant sustainable churches within their cultures among least-reached people groups.

With bold missional ambition to significantly increase in scale, Global Disciples is intentionally transitioning from a predominantly US-headquartered model to a more decentralised, globally dispersed structure that empowers regional and national leadership, fosters local ownership, and aligns with its commitment to indigenous, culturally relevant mission. We currently have hubs in Africa, Asia and Lancaster, Pennsylvania and are looking at expanding our presence in Europe and Asia.
In this dynamic season of accelerated growth and structural evolution, the organisation is seeking a strategic CFO to serve as a key financial architect—engineering optimal financial infrastructure, systems, and processes that provide robust support, ensure efficiency and compliance across borders, and enable sustainable scaling to fulfil the ministry's God-given vision for greater global impact.
You will be someone with a proven track record in a senior financial leadership role in an international organisation, preferably within a ministry or mission context, and with experience overseeing additional areas like IT in entities of comparable complexity and scale. You will be a mission-aligned finance leader with a deep understanding of financial management and financial engineering, enabling you to strategically shape how Global Disciples maximises its global impact. You will have an open and servant-hearted leadership style with a natural ability to build and maintain strong, cross-cultural relationships. You will be passionate about our vision to train up disciple-makers to take the Gospel to the least-reached around the world.
We envisage the Chief Financial Officer being based in either one of our hubs in Europe, Africa or Asia.
