Brief role description:
The Head of International Growth is a new strategic leadership role that will enable parkrun to unlock dynamic, sustainable growth across some of key geographies — currently Europe, Africa, and America, though these may evolve over time. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Global Heads of Commercial, Legal and Governance and Event Delivery and Volunteering, the successful candidate will lead the development and execution of parkrun’s international growth strategy. Main responsibilities:
Strategic Influence & Stature: Drive the overall presence, reputation, and stature of parkrun across North America, Europe and Africa. Revenue Generation & Sustainability: Working with the Global Commercial team, design and execute commercial revenue strategies tailored to North America, Europe and Africa. People Leadership & Staff Performance: Line manage, mentor, and hold Country Managers and Regional Managers accountable across target countries. Foster a culture of high performance, professional growth, and strategic and values alignment across remote international teams.

Desirable experience requirements:

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Events team in a newly created management role, building on four years of significant growth and success across our mass participation programme.
As Mass Participation Event Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the programme while driving continued growth in income, participation and supporter engagement. You will have responsibility for the development, performance and delivery of the mass participation portfolio, working closely with the Head of Fundraising (Community & Events) to grow income, participation and engagement.
Alongside this overall responsibility, you will have direct ownership of your own area of the portfolio, including the Great North Run, Berlin Marathon, Chicago Marathon, Cape Town Marathon and our wider challenges programme. You will manage these events from recruitment and participant onboarding through to fundraising, event-day delivery and post-event stewardship, while supporting the Head of Fundraising (C&E) with our flagship London Marathon.
You will also line manage the Events Junior Officer, who will have direct responsibility for their own allocated events. You will provide leadership, direction and support to ensure their events are delivered successfully and contribute to the wider mass participation goals.
This is a senior, hands-on role. You will be expected to lead the development of the overall programme while remaining directly involved in the day-to-day delivery of your own events. This includes recruiting and stewarding participants, developing campaigns, managing budgets and suppliers, speaking directly with supporters and being hands-on at events.
Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Fitness Centre Manager is a role that is largely based on site (80:20 split) and the post holder will work a minimum of 14 hours per week at front of house, leading delivery. ROLE PURPOSE:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Are you looking to join an in-house Brand and Content team? This role would suit someone who's keen to work across all areas of the organisation, championing brand guidelines and managing and delivering a wide range of creative projects under the ShelterBox brand.
You must be able to edit video and have a good knowledge graphic design and brand. It is a requirement of this role to have a working knowledge of Premier Pro, After Effects, Indesign and Illustrator, with experience across Adobe Creative Suite. You'll also be able to demonstrate great copywriting skills and have excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will have experience in practical photography and film.
You will need to be able to plan and lead a shoot and confidently pick up a camera and capture ShelterBox footage and interviews in the UK and in the countries where we work. This role will, at times, be required to deploy in both major disasters and pro-active content trips - gathering content themselves and supporting external freelancers.

About the role
At the RSPCA Finchley Branch, we are seeking a practical and organised Branch Manager to support the delivery and development of our local animal welfare services and the oversight of our retail operations through the line management of Shop Managers.
This is a strategic role with a hands-on focus on operational delivery, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across animal welfare, retail operations through the line management of Shop Managers and volunteer activity. In this role, you will
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of animal welfare outcomes across the branch, ensuring animals are safely supported from intake through to rehoming, while also supporting the RSPCA Inspectorate. Alongside this, you will oversee day-to-day branch operations, including managing a small team of staff and volunteers, overseeing the performance of the branch’s retail activity through the line management of Shop Managers to contribute to sustainable income.
Working with the Chair and the relevant Trustee portfolio lead, including the Treasurer, to ensure financial oversight, governance and compliance and to deliver the agreed objectives, and working with veterinary partners, staff and volunteers, other RSPCA branches as well as other charities, you will ensure that services are delivered consistently, responsibly and in line with the branch’s priorities.

Consultant opportunity: developing our long-term vision and strategy
Now in its 75th anniversary year, World Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced consultant(s) to co-ordinate the development of its Physio 2040 long-term aspirational vision and a five-year strategic plan (2027-32) that operationalises it.
This is a two-part but interlinked assignment.
