About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fundraising CRM Manager to lead the development and management of our fundraising CRM and donor engagement systems. This is a pivotal role at an exciting moment of growth, ensuring our CRM is used strategically to strengthen donor relationships, improve fundraising performance, and support income growth across our international network.
Working closely with the Fundraising Director, you will oversee day‑to‑day CRM management, donor stewardship (up to £5,000), prospect research, reporting, and support for campaigns and events. You will also provide insight and data that underpin high‑value fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management & Development
- Lead the daily administration and development of the fundraising CRM (Salesforce or Beacon).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with data protection standards.
- Build donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve retention and engagement.
- Produce regular insight reports, dashboards and monthly financial tracking.
- Work with the Digital Officer to drive system improvements and train colleagues in CRM use.
Donor Stewardship & Fundraising Support
- Deliver excellent donor care, ensuring timely acknowledgements, updates and impact reporting.
- Steward donors giving up to £5,000, nurturing long‑term relationships.
- Support the delivery of digital, regular giving and peer‑to‑peer fundraising campaigns.
- Develop donor journeys that build loyalty to the St John mission.

Prospect Research & Reporting
- Research and profile new donors, trusts and partners across the global St John network.
- Provide monthly income and pledge tracking reports.
- Manage the fundraising pipeline, forecasting income and identifying growth opportunities.

Donor Growth & Global Engagement
- Develop strategies to grow the donor base, with a focus on gifts under £5,000.
- Use global awareness moments (e.g. St John Day, World First Aid Day) to acquire and retain supporters.
- Evaluate campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Support for High‑Value Fundraising
- Provide data insights, research and CRM support for major donor cultivation.

Person Specification
Essential
- At least 3 years’ experience in fundraising, CRM management or donor development.
- Proven experience managing a fundraising CRM (Salesforce, Beacon or similar).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate data into insight.
- Understanding of donor care and stewardship principles.
- Experience cultivating and securing gifts from individual donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a donor‑centred approach.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused and confident managing multiple priorities.

About the role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two years support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP, including individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. We’re looking for a strategic and people‑focused leader to head up our Supporter Operations and Insights team. A newly expanded team, this senior role will ensure our supporters receive an outstanding experience, while overseeing supporter operations, supplier management, data quality and insights. You’ll work closely with Fundraising and Finance colleagues to ensure income is processed accurately; deliver insights that drive decision‑making; and ensure operations are compliant and effective.

What is the role about?
This role leads the teams that look after our supporters behind the scenes and on the front line. You’ll make sure every supporter has a positive experience, that donations are handled accurately, and that we use data and insight to continuously improve how we work.
What will you be responsible for?
You’ll lead supporter care, operations and the performance and insights teams, manage key suppliers, work closely with Finance on income reconciliation, and turn data into insight that shapes fundraising decisions. You won’t manage the CRM system itself, but you’ll work closely with the CRM Technical lead and Head of Data and Insights to ensure supporter needs are met as we continue to embed a new CRM.

You will manage our brilliant team across our Finance and Infrastructure team with a focus on strong financial management together with those underpinning arrangement on which our work is build from ICT, Health and Safety and how we harness data and insight. With both internal and external focus the role will lead on our financial management and helping our organisation to make every penny entrusted to us count as we develop, manage and realise our financial goals and the difference the enable Age UK York to make in supporting older people and those around them across York.
You will provide leadership across our organisation as a member of our Senior Leadership Team and work closely with our Board of Trustees.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· Ability to prepare, manage, monitor and report on budgets.

· Experience of supporting the development and delivery of high quality services through financial management and support to operational colleagues.
