Job summary

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to create, deliver and analyse integrated marketing plans that utilise the full marketing mix to extend the reach and maximize the sales of BookTrust’s traded reading programmes to schools.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for using data and insight to develop and deliver marketing activity to support a wide range of BookTrust campaigns, events and initiatives to meet our ambitious targets. You’ll establish an ongoing evaluation process and utilise sector and customer insight to continually improve our marketing. 

Experience of working across multiple campaigns in an agile way and prioritising your workload effectively is essential. 

The ideal candidate will have a breadth of marketing skills and experience and a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the charity to deliver marketing campaigns and activity to a consistently high standard. 

The successful candidate must have at least three years of marketing experience, have previously worked in a B2B, traded and/or commercial marketing role at a similar level including people management experience.

We’re looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager to play a leading role in developing and delivering strategic stakeholder engagement activity at Leeds Beckett University. Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. About the role

MAP is looking for a professional institutional funding manager with vast experience in securing bilateral and multilateral grant and a track record of achieving income targets. As the Head of Institutional Funding, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of MAP's institutional funding strategy. Your responsibilities will include establishing and nurturing relationships with key institutional donors such as UN agencies, FCDO, SIDA, and Irish Aid, as well as crafting compelling project proposals and ensuring compliance with all contractual and reporting requirements.

You will have extensive experience in securing grants from institutional donors, particularly in emergency response, relief, and rehabilitation projects. You will demonstrate a track record of success in developing institutional donor funding strategies and managing funded projects, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The Senior Support Worker is the lead practitioner within their designated intensive support  domestic abuse refuge, providing day-to-day operational oversight and support to staff, volunteers and bank staff. 

Working closely with the Refuge Manager and Deputy Refuge Manager, the postholder ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse. The role acts as the main point of continuity within the refuge, supporting staff induction, maintaining standards of practice, and contributing to a safe, stable and supportive environment.

Job Description

The Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) will play a crucial role in realising our ambitious plans as a charity. The postholder will be a member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), along with the CEO, Director of Development, Director of Programmes and Director of Fundraising and Communications. The DFO role is responsible for overseeing the financial health, operational effectiveness, and organisational infrastructure of the charity, ensures that the charity operates efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with all regulatory and fiduciary requirements. This role blends strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational management and is critical to enabling the charity to achieve its charitable programme as well as provide long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Management

• Provide strategic financial leadership, including long-range financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop and manage the organisation’s annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Manage the accounting functions, including payroll and pension, and month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare and present timely, accurate financial reports to the SLT, Finance and Investment Sub- Committee, and Board of Trustees.
• Monitor cash flow, reserves, and investments to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, funder requirements, and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Operations & Organisational Management

• Research, identify, and prioritise potential grant and trust funding opportunities aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives.
• Prepare and submit high-quality, persuasive funding applications and supporting documentation.

To be successful, you will need or need to be:

• Proven experience in prospect research, writing, and securing grants within the charity or non-profit sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cases for support and build relationships with funders.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Demonstrable experience of building, improving, or maintaining grant tracking systems or processes.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on funding outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Confident using digital tools and CRM systems to support grant management and reporting.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a passion for the charity’s mission.

We are looking for a Partnerships Engagement Officer to join us at this exciting stage in Settle’s development. Over the next few years, we aim to significantly grow the number of young people we are working with while maintaining the quality and impact of our programme. The Partnerships Engagement Officer will join the Business Development Team, reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager. You will be integral to helping us to grow our reach so that we can work with more care-experienced young people across London. 

The successful candidate will nurture and strengthen our existing partnerships to maximise referral numbers. The core of the role will be to build strong formal and informal relationships with partners and increase awareness and a deeper understanding of Settle’s work. You will make regular in-person visits to Local Authority, Housing Association and charity referral partners across London to promote the Settle programme and ensure our offer is well understood and uptake is maximised.  Ideally, you will spend some of your time working from partner offices. 

With some experience of working for or with local authorities, housing associations or charities, you enjoy working collaboratively to improve processes and widen access to opportunities in order to create better outcomes for young people. This role will suit someone who can work independently and appreciates variety in their work: one day you might enjoy a lively conversation with a group of social workers and another you will delve into the data to produce informative reports for partners.

The Commercial & Events Manager will line manage front of house and hospitality staff, foster a positive and values-led team culture, and lead relationships with café and bar partners to ensure a joined-up, high-quality experience for everyone who comes through Joy’s doors.

As a key presence within the building, you will oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of events, taking responsibility for visitor experience and acting as the lead point of contact on event days. You will play a central role in shaping and delivering Joy’s commercial events programme, helping to build a vibrant, inclusive and financially sustainable offer across the building. Working at the intersection of culture, community and commerce, you will develop a compelling programme of events and hospitality activity that supports Joy’s ethos while contributing to its long-term sustainability.

About the Role

As Programme Coordinator for Money Heroes, you’ll play a pivotal role in our flagship primary programme, helping children develop financial capability.

You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Money Heroes team to:

• Coordinate teacher training events and programme delivery
• Support marketing, promotion, and social media campaigns
• Coordinate content development and website updates
• Help monitor and evaluate programme impact
• Provide high-level customer service to teachers, educators, and YE colleagues

• Collaborate with the Marketing team and Programme Manager to support the growth and visibility of the programme, including contributing to marketing communications and coordinating activity to maintain engagement.

• This is a hybrid role based in London or Oxford, with a minimum of 8 office days per month
• The contract runs until December 2027

We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations fundraiser to join our team at Power2, a fast growing and energetic youth charity.

You will lead on fundraising from Trusts and Foundations and be responsible for relationships, applications and reporting to major Trust and Foundation funders. You’ll lead internal processes for prospect research and have oversight of a growing portfolio of potential and existing donors. You will ensure a consistent pipeline of applications to meet your performance indicators and collate information from across the organisation to produce funder reports.

 You will have significant and demonstrable experience of fundraising from major Trusts and Foundations. You will have excellent project management skills, be skilled at writing compelling funding bids, be highly numerate and a great team player and collaborator. Previous experience or interest in the youth or education charity sector would be an advantage.

We operate hybrid working, and this role can be based at either our North-West (Ashton-under-Lyne) or London office, with at least two days working in the office per week. We offer flexibility as to when the role’s hours are worked, and exact working patterns can be discussed at interview.
