About the role

As Grants Engagement Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Trust, ensuring that grants are effectively managed from initial contact through to award and evaluation. You will work closely with Trustees, preparing papers for meetings, providing updates, and supporting informed decision-making. A key part of the role will involve building and nurturing relationships with a wide range of partners, from community groups to charities and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted and supportive point of contact.

You will take a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, researching potential partners and developing a strong pipeline of projects aligned to the Trust’s priorities. Through early conversations and ongoing collaboration, you will help shape ideas into deliverable projects, offering guidance and working in partnership to co-design initiatives that can deliver meaningful impact. You will also maintain contact with funded projects, to ensure they are supported and to measure and report on outcomes, helping to build a clear picture of the Trust’s impact and ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Alongside this, you will play a central role in ensuring the Trust operates to a high standard of governance and best practice. This includes keeping processes under review, supporting due diligence and risk management, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the evolving grant-making landscape. You will also contribute to raising the profile of the Trust, both within the wider organisation and in local communities, acting as an ambassador for its work alongside trustees.

Hours

This is a permanent, part-time role working 2 days per week. We offer flexibility in how these hours are worked to support a positive work–life balance; however, there will be a need to align working days with key Trust activities, including trustee meetings and stakeholder engagement.

Occasional evening and weekend work will be required, for example to attend community events or meetings.

Given the nature of the role, some flexibility around working patterns and availability will be important, along with a willingness to travel within Derbyshire and occasionally further afield as required.

About you

We are looking for someone who combines strong organisational skills with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. You will be comfortable working with a wide range of people, able to interpret complex information including financial details, and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Experience in grant-making, philanthropy, or a related field is important, alongside an understanding of charity governance and a genuine interest in supporting communities to thrive.

Knowledge of the Derbyshire landscape and its opportunities and challenges would be particularly valuable.

Job Purpose

Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, and we are looking to recruit 2 new Women’s Support Workers. Taking a woman-centred approach, your role will be to provide phone-based holistic support for women with complex needs who want support or to exit the sex industry.

We are looking for someone with energy, motivation and experience of working with vulnerable adults; someone who a highly developed sense of self-awareness who can work in a gender and trauma informed way.

This role will be part of a small team of support workers, and a service manager, who deliver a call and email-based case work system. You will have frontline experience of working with individuals who experience multiple disadvantage. This might be in the VAWG sector, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health or counselling or direct experience of women in the sex industry. About Beyond the Streets

Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience of partnering with women in the sex industry, to see them safe from coercion, violence and abuse. Every day in this role is different, but at the heart of it is one thing: helping people feel safer, more stable and more in control of their lives.

As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll support people living across Westminster to sustain their tenancies, navigate challenges and build the confidence and skills needed to live independently. You’ll work alongside people facing homelessness, isolation, poor mental or physical health, domestic abuse, substance use and other forms of multiple disadvantage, providing practical and emotionally intelligent support that meets people where they are.

This is a role built on relationships. You’ll work closely with clients in their homes and communities, creating support plans that feel realistic, empowering and genuinely person-centred. Whether you’re helping someone manage rent arrears, reconnect with services, settle into a new home or take steps towards work, training or improved wellbeing, your support will help people move forward in meaningful and lasting ways.

You’ll be part of Westminster Floating Support, a fast-paced and supportive service funded by Westminster City Council, delivering housing-related support to people in all types of accommodation across the borough. Working as part of a collaborative and psychologically informed team, you’ll build strong partnerships with local services and agencies to make sure clients receive joined-up, holistic support.

The postholder will primarily support women using our services, including clients who, due to trauma, safeguarding, privacy and engagement needs, will only accept support from women workers. The role may also involve supporting clients of any gender as part of wider service delivery.

About you:

• You bring experience supporting people facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, mental ill health, substance use, domestic abuse or social isolation, and know how to build trusting relationships that help people feel heard, respected and supported
• You feel confident helping people navigate the practical challenges that can put a tenancy at risk, from budgeting and benefits to rent arrears, housing options and building everyday independent living skills
• You work in a psychologically informed, strengths-based way, understanding how to motivate and empower people to move towards greater stability, confidence and independence at their own pace
• You’re able to balance empathy with professional curiosity, using support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding practice to provide safe, thoughtful and person-centred support
• You’re organised, proactive and able to manage a varied caseload while working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes

Role purpose 

To lead the creation, development and optimisation of high-quality, audience-targeted content that supports marketing campaigns, strengthens brand awareness, and enhances engagement across a growing and increasingly diverse range of stakeholders. 

The role will address current capacity gaps within the Marketing and Communications team by generating, repurposing and managing multimedia content that supports programme promotion, brand storytelling and organisational positioning.

• Repurpose content into multiple formats for use across channels (social, email, web, campaigns etc.)
• Ensure content is effectively reused to maximise reach and value
• Maintain a pipeline of diverse content to support audience segmentation

Content Creation and Development: 

• Develop multi-format content (video, written, visual, digital) tailored to different audiences and sectors 
• Generate evergreen content that can be reused and adapted across campaigns and channels 
• Produce content that supports strategic content aims 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to generate authentic, impactful content
• Facilitate user-generated content, including youth voice and partner contributions

Insight and Continuous Improvement:

Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced face-to-face fundraising Manager with Festivals and Events experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about both performance and purpose. You’ll lead, coach and inspire teams on the ground at some of the UK’s most vibrant festivals and events, while also playing a key role in shaping the future of our F2F programme—contributing ideas, improving ways of working, and driving innovation across delivery, training and operations. Salary: £41,902.62 - £51,214.32 per annum | Salary is offered in line with our pay framework and typically starts at the entry point of the band. Salary increases are considered annually and are subject to our appraisal and performance review process.

Job Purpose:

Manage the on-site delivery of MSF UK’s Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising activity across Festivals and Events, ensuring high-performing, safe and professional fundraising operations that maximise income and public engagement.

Provide day-to-day management and development of Team Leaders, Fundraisers and Coordinator-level roles, driving performance through coaching, monitoring and clear accountability against targets.

Coordinate and deliver on-site operational and logistics activity across up to 60 festivals and events annually, working in close partnership with the Logistics Manager, who is responsible for logistics planning and infrastructure.

Act as the most senior on-site representative for MSF, ensuring all festival and event activity runs smoothly, maintaining strong relationships with event organisers, suppliers and stakeholders, and ensuring a high-quality, self-sufficient operational presence.

Work closely with the F2F Programme Lead and wider F2F management team to deliver the Festivals and Events plan, contribute to programme development and support the ongoing growth of the events portfolio.

Support the recruitment, onboarding and effective deployment of F2F agency workers and MSF UK staff, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver high-quality fundraising and meet performance expectations.

Take responsibility for on-site operational planning, including rota management and oversight of timesheet accuracy, ensuring effective resource allocation across activity.

Ensure all team activity adheres to MSF’s standards for behaviour, safeguarding, safety and compliance, creating a positive and professional working environment.

Outside of festival periods, take responsibility for the delivery of Private Sites activity, maintaining the same standards of leadership, performance and target achievement. The role is accountable for delivering annual Festivals and Events income targets and contributes to the overall success of the Face-to-Face programme.
