What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team that delivers high-quality training, conferences, and events for mental health professionals. Our Training Team is a group of 30-40 people, with dedicated sub-teams covering with a dedicated specialistic training, conferences and events.  

You will work closely in a team of six on MBT/SCM training courses. You will lead on your own workstream and operate with a good level of independence, while staying connected through weekly team meetings and ongoing communication via Teams.

The role is fast‑paced and admin‑focused, supporting the smooth delivery of online training for mental health professionals. Most of your time will be spent coordinating courses of 20–50 attendees, handling logistics, responding to queries, and supporting stakeholders.

Over time, we’re looking for someone who can confidently manage training activities end‑to‑end, streamline processes, and share learning and best practice across the team as we continually improve how we work.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for an administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centred environment, bringing strong organisation and experience in coordinating training while delivering an excellent experience for everyone involved.

• Experience coordinating projects or events in a busy, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities confidently.

• Clear, professional communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with colleagues at all levels as well as external partners, trainers and participants.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, whilst also collaborating well as part of a supportive team.
• Confident IT capability, including Microsoft Office, online platforms such as Zoom, and familiarity with database systems (e.g., Salesforce)

Key details

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week): Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. Flexibility to support training, conferences and events outside of these hours required.

Salary: £31,366 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.

Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

About the Position…

Our Senior Residential Manager and Responsible Individual supports the Head of Service in the delivery of the Trusts residential services for cared for children. You will oversee several services that provide support to vulnerable young people, working across a range of differing needs.

• Line-manage and support children’s residential registered managers to ensure high‑quality person‑centred care across all services.
• Ensure all registered children’s homes comply with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures, with effective systems supporting staff in delivering care.
• Act as the Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes or services.
• Lead quality‑assurance processes to maintain good or outstanding practice and clearly evidence outcomes for children.
• Ensure registered managers promote and safeguard the welfare and well‑being of children in residential care.
• Work with our People and Culture team to improve staff recruitment and retention, supporting managers with staffing matters including disciplinary, capability, practice concerns, and internal investigations.
• Promote the trust’s residential services externally, develop relationships with external stakeholders, support referrals and placements, and participate in relevant conferences and events.

About the you…

Do you have the following skills and experience,

• Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare of equivalent 
• Significant Children’s Residential experience as a Registered Manager or suitable equivalent, experienced in promoting high quality children’s residential services.
• Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and OFSTED inspection requirements.
• Extensive experience leading high-quality residential services for young people with complex social or health needs, understanding care planning, transitions, and leaving care.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with local authority officers and commissioners.
• Knowledge of leadership and management principles, including managing change and managing of service budgets, including income and expenditure.
• An analytical approach to report writing, continuing improvement of services and measurement of care outcomes.
• A full current driving licence – mileage will be paid at 45p per mile

2.Contribute to a refuge environment that is compassionate, equitable, and grounded in integrity -where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported.
3.Manage Safeguarding across the service, complying with internal and external policy and legislation, authorise adult and child referrals maintaining a trauma-informed, non-judgemental stance that prioritises dignity and safety
4.Provide line management to Team Leaders and Support Workers in line with Cyfannol’s policies and values, leading recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and development in an inclusive and engaging way.

You'll support the Estates Manager in maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented school environment. The role includes carrying out caretaking, cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, assisting with site security and supporting the smooth running of school activities and events.

What you will do:

• Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.

Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

This ISAC role is set within the Wiltshire Domestic Abuse service, providing specialist stalking advice, consultancy and support to high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking across Wiltshire. You will be working in a multiagency environment including police, other statutory bodies and third sector organisations to respond to and safeguard high risk victims, bridging gaps in their support.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with high risk victims of domestic abuse stalking, providing a targeted service, promoting safety as the central issue and thus reducing the risk of serious harm or death.
• To provide this service both at time of crisis and in longer term e.g. safety planning, risk assessing advocacy, support through the criminal justice/civil legal process and liaison with other statutory and voluntary agencies.
• Complete specialist risk assessments (SASH and DASH).
• Manage a caseload ensuring each person receives the appropriate service individual to their risk and needs.
• Provide proactive, trauma responsive and holistic support, with a focus on increasing safety and reducing risk.
• Work with criminal justice agencies as well as a variety of partners including Victim Support, Children’s Social Care and Housing, to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk.
• Provide specialist advocacy to victims going through the criminal justice process.
• Attend Multi Agency meetings (Stalking Clinic) and Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) meetings as required.
• Give information and support to those experiencing stalking, enabling and empowering them to make positive choices about options available to them and assist them in regaining control of their lives.
• Support other agencies in the identification and referral of stalking issues via promotion of service and institutional advocacy.
• Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on stalking.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services works in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all.
• Support colleagues and Head of Service to monitor data and report on quality outcomes.

About this role: Based in Higher Openshaw, East Manchester, Justlife currently works across Manchester and Tameside providing one-to-one key work support to empower vulnerable adults housed in temporary accommodation (TA) to move towards more secure housing, independent living and improved health and wellbeing. The role of Specialist Support Worker involves playing an active part in the Specialist Support Team by supporting a caseload of clients that are experiencing housing vulnerability and taking part in regular outreach visits to TA’s across Greater Manchester on the Justlife minibus. The role requires the use of specialist knowledge and relationship skills to support clients with varying degrees of mental and physical health, addiction and trauma related issues to engage with health services and to access suitable housing solutions. The Specialist Support Worker is also expected to develop good working relationships with TA Landlords and Managers recognising the important role that they play in ensuring that their tenants experience of TA is as positive as possible. This will include advocacy in registering them for medical services and accompanying them to appointments, assisting them in addressing all aspects of physical and mental health and addiction needs, as well as advocating for them to get access to suitable housing and social security benefits. The role is dependent on excellent communication and collaborative working with colleagues and a variety of partners and professionals, including the Probation Service, local council services and other third sector organisations. The role requires a high degree of motivation in addition to creativity and flexibility to support people with multiple and compound needs. With a passion to work collaboratively with others for the good of our clients, and with experience of working in a related field in a voluntary or paid capacity. A high degree of emotional intelligence is required to support clients, many of whom have complex emotional needs, with backgrounds of trauma, neglect, abuse and involvement in the criminal justice system. In a role of this nature you will experience a range of emotions from joy to grief and as such it requires a high degree of resilience and self-awareness to cope with the emotional demands of the role.
