About the role

Reporting in to the Individual Giving Lead, the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will drive the strategy and execution of Christian Aid’s individual giving acquisition efforts, ensuring high impact campaigns like Christian Aid Week, Christmas and Emergency Appeals effectively attract new supporters. Through compelling messaging and innovative approaches, foster long-term, sustainable relationships,
optimising channels, products, and engagement strategies to maximise supporter growth.

The post-holder will lead on Regular Giving acquisition recruitment across multiple channels to grow lifetime giving and increasing the Christian Aid supporter base. They will be leading a team of two Individual Giving Acquisition Officers and collaborating with senior leadership, manage budgets, forecast the performance of campaigns and ensure cost-effective delivery, all while championing the ‘Believe in the Possible’ proposition to inspire and engage the next generation of supporters.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer includes:

• Lead the development and execution of the Individual Giving acquisition strategy, leveraging on key appeals like Christian Aid Week and Christmas to recruit and engage new supporters.
• Empower people and amplify change, optimise acquisition channels, refine messaging, and test new products to attract and retain both one-off and regular givers, ensuring long-term growth and engagement.
• Prioritise and lead the Regular giving recruitment strategy across multiple channels, supporting our ambition to build back and grow recruitment and supporters lifetime value.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless and effective campaign delivery, maximising impact across multiple platforms.
• Analyse supporter data, providing actionable insights that enhance campaign effectiveness and engagement, continually refining approaches for greater success.
• Manage and mentor Individual Giving Acquisition Officers, fostering professional growth and driving performance within the team.
• Contribute to the broader Individual Giving strategy, cultivating an ambitious team culture that embraces innovation and excellence.

Job Description

The communications officer is responsible for the consistent, day-to-day delivery of internal and external communications that convey JRCT’s mission and priorities and support the work of the people and organisations we fund. 

The focus of this role is delivery of our communications. You will be reliable and skilled, taking ownership of work that keeps our communications running smoothly - producing high-quality content, handling our social media presence, maintaining our website, and delivering our newsletters. You will bring creativity and flair to your communications, knowing when to inform and when to engage and finding the right tone for different audiences and channels. 

You will work independently on routine tasks while contributing thoughtfully to wider projects.

4. DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

4.1 Content creation and storytelling 

• Create, edit, and produce high-quality written and digital content, including news pieces, case studies, and multimedia materials, ensuring all messaging is clear, consistent, and reflective of our mission and values across all channels 

• Partner with grant holders to develop case studies, quotes, and materials that reflect their voice and perspective 

• Actively amplify the work of grant holders, identifying opportunities to showcase their voices, expertise, and learning 

• Maintain and develop content, including sourcing images and writing copy for our website and reports, and assist with site refreshes. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure JRCT’s learning is translated and shared in accessible, meaningful terms 

• Design, compile, and write external newsletters 

4.2  Social media and digital engagement 

• Run our social media accounts day-to-day, including monitoring, scheduling, and creating engaging posts 

• Produce design-led assets and infographics using Canva or similar tools 

• Maintain and grow social media presence, sharing news from grant holders and JRCT 

• Research peer digital content and stay updated on social media trends 

• Monitor and analyse web and social media performance to evaluate and refine approach 

4.3  Internal communications and administration 

• Work with the head of communications to deliver internal communications, including updates, newsletters, and intranet content 

• Complete administrative tasks to regularly maintain and update digital resources in compliance with GDPR guidelines, including social media lists, website, image library, and newsletter mailing lists 

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the communications and engagement strategy, and assist with projects such as brand work and website redesign as they arise

ROLE SUMMARY

This is the lead communications role at Youth Leads UK - the person who holds our voice, shapes our stories, and makes sure the world hears what our young people are doing and why it matters.

Working closely with the CEO and eventually supported by two Youth Content Creators, you will own the communications and engagement function across all channels and audiences. You will set the tone, maintain the brand, lead our campaigns, and ensure everything we put out reflects who we are and what we stand for.
 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Strategy and brand

• Own the Youth Leads UK communications strategy, ensuring our channels, campaigns, and content are coherent, consistent, and purposeful
• Act as the guardian of our brand — maintaining voice, tone, and visual identity across everything we produce
• Work closely with the CEO to align communications activity with organisational priorities and the Generation:NOW strategy
• Analyse performance across channels and use insight to inform what we do next

Campaigns and content

• Lead the development and delivery of youth-led campaigns on issues that matter to our communities - from mental health and civic participation to cost of living and representation
• Oversee the planning and production of Youth Leads Magazine - three editions per year, created by and for young people
• Lead on long-form and strategic content including press releases, impact reports, website articles, and stakeholder communications
• Set the brief for social media content and oversee delivery by the Youth Content Creators, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand alignment
• Manage email communications including newsletters and stakeholder updates

Developing young people

The Nazareth Trust is one of Scotland’s oldest and largest Christian charities, employing over 900 people in Nazareth, Israel, through its hospital, nursing college, biblical tourism operation, and international volunteer programme.

We are seeking a driven Marketing and Communications Officer with significant initiative and ability to influence through social digital content production.

In this role, you will execute the strategic direction of our communications, by expanding our reach through engaging, persuasive content. Using data analysis, the successful candidate will enhance engagement with the Nazareth Trust’s key audiences on our TNT supporter database.

You will support the Marketing and Communications Manager by researching and leveraging compelling stories that will engage and inspire activism and giving from our existing supporter database.  

An ability to develop working relationships and inspire confidence is essential. Similarly, an ability to research new media outlets. The successful candidate will be proactive in their approach working within an intercultural context where initiative will be required.

This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-focused and committed to meeting tight deadlines and expected outputs. She/he will be able to produce material which requires little or no further editing.

As part of a small UK office, the successful candidate will also provide additional and varied support as required by the Marketing and Communications Manager.

The Nazareth Trust is a Christian organisation. Summary of Role

The Head of Business Operations will play a key leadership role within The Brain Charity, leading and overseeing the effective and safe delivery of a range of business and operational activities. This includes responsibility for premises management, health and safety, data protection compliance, ICT systems, and operational services such as room hire and café provision.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and senior colleagues, the role will ensure that systems, processes and services run efficiently, meet regulatory requirements, and support the charity’s wider objectives. • Ensure the safe, secure and continuous operation of the charity’s premises, including oversight of access arrangements, security controls, and incident response.
• Ensure Health & Safety and food safety policies are in place, effectively implemented, embedded into day-to-day operations, and consistently monitored to maintain full compliance across all operational activities.
• Ensure statutory checks, monitoring activities and remedial actions are completed, documented and reviewed in line with regulatory requirements.

ICT, Digital & Systems Oversight

Key responsibilities

Data management and quality

• Manage and maintain organisational data, ensuring records are accurate, consistent, up to date and fit for purpose.

About The Role
Would you like to play a key part in influencing national decisionmakers across Wales, England and Northern Ireland to drive major, positive change in the dementia policy space? Then this could be the role for you. 
Sitting within Alzheimer’s Society’s National Influencing team, as our new National Influencing Officer you would be instrumental in delivering innovative, engaging, collaborative, and evidence-based influencing work. You’d be ensuring that political and health system stakeholders are acting on the biggest issues affecting people living with dementia, working closely with other teams to drive work that is integrated locally and nationally. 
While this role is predominantly focused on delivering national influencing activity in Wales, you’ll also be part of a fluid and flexible team that operates across boundaries and supports with our political work in England and Northern Ireland. 
This is an exciting time for dementia policy in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We have the chance to ensure that governments are prioritising dementia and the needs of all those affected by the condition. Our National Influencing Officer will be at the forefront of taking on this vitally important challenge.

Every day, people affected by dementia tell us what matters most to them. We listen, learn, and use what they share, alongside evidence and research, to influence real change. 
What would it take to make sure those voices are truly heard by the people making decisions? 
As our National Influencing Officer, you will help make sure those voices are heard by the people making decisions. Working across Wales and as part of a three nations team, you will build relationships with politicians, decision makers and health leaders to help improve support and services for people affected by dementia.  
In this role, you will: 

- Lead or support political engagement across Wales and potentially other UK nations, using your knowledge of parliamentary structures and influencing routes to drive change. 
- Provide oversight and coordination of political monitoring and stakeholder engagement activity. 
- Plan and deliver impactful public affairs (or similar) events, including parliamentary receptions, breakfast meetings, roundtables, and party conference activity. 
- Translate evidence-based policy positions into compelling and effective influencing strategies that achieve real-world impact. 
- Build delivery plans focused on meaningful outcomes and measure their success through evaluation and learning. 
- Produce high-quality, accessible content to inform and engage stakeholders, using strong presentational and communication skills. 

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative Corporate Services team, where you will play a central role in supporting governance activity, organisational projects, and key stakeholder engagement. • Salary: £34,000-36,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Location: Central London
• Working Pattern: Full time, 35 hours per week
• Working arrangements: Hybrid
• Contract: Permanent
• Start date: From 13th July 2026 (or shortly thereafter – shorter notice periods are strongly preferred).

About the Role

As Governance Officer, you will support a wide range of governance activities, working closely with senior stakeholders including trustees, committees, and internal teams.
 
You will contribute to the smooth running of key governance processes, while also playing an active role in supporting strategic projects and organisational initiatives.
 
This role is ideal if you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working in a collaborative environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail will be highly valued.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance meetings, including preparing papers, managing invitations, and taking accurate minutes
• Support major governance activities such as board meetings, elections, annual general meetings, and trustee recruitment
• Maintain governance records, track attendance and oversee administrative processes
• Support governance-focused projects and internal audits
• Manage administration of the organisational project portfolio, including reporting and progress tracking
• Provide wider support to the Corporate Services team, including event coordination

 
 
Skills / Experience Required

• Experience of providing Governance administration support
• Background providing governance secretarial support for Boards and Trustees
• Familiar with elections process in a membership body
• Experience of minute taking and coordinating meetings
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
