As our Senior Activity Coordinator, you'll play a leading role in shaping and delivering inspiring short breaks, weekend clubs and holiday programmes for neurodivergent children and young people aged 5 to 25.
Working closely with the Hub & Short Breaks Manager, you'll help create safe, inclusive and engaging experiences that reflect the interests, aspirations and individual needs of the young people we support. From developing new activities and mentoring volunteers to supporting programme delivery and service improvements, you'll help shape a service where every young person feels valued, included and able to thrive.

The Role

The Person
We are looking for someone that has exceptional communications skills, is passionate, enthusiastic and has the ability to develop relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. You must be confident presenting to community groups and networking with professionals.
Previous experience of delivering income in a fundraising role across community, events, corporate or volunteer-led activity would be advantageous. You must be sensitive and empathetic to working in a hospice environment, and any knowledge or understanding of In-Memory and Legacy giving would be desirable.
You must be able to work flexibly including occasional evening and weekends as required.

Here's what the team will be looking for

Philanthropy, which covers Trusts & Foundations, Major Donors and Mid-Value Donors , is pivotal to Noah’s Ark – typically accounting for around 46% of the charity’s overall income. In real terms, that is c. £2.2m of our £4.7m fundraising target for 2026-27. This role also has a lead role in managing our Philantropy & Corproate Board of influential volunteers that support our philanthropy programme. The Head of Philanthropy will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to dedicate time and attention to a strong portfolio of donors, and will contribute to the wider development of fundraising and communications strategies through senior team forum and all-staff forums.
