About the Role

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, insurance, uni money and much more. Children and young people love having the chance to talk about money, ask questions and think about what they are going to do with theirs!

We are looking to recruit a member of staff to help carry out the day-to-day management of the Workshop content, resources and delivery through our freelance trainer network, as well as deliver some Workshops directly to children and young people themselves. The applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring The Money Charity’s Financial Education work is carried out efficiently and to the best standards, with opportunity for in-role development and professional growth. 

We are looking for somebody with the drive and initiative to take this area of work forward as we seek to grow our delivery levels and reach in 2027 and 2028. The applicant should have fantastic presentational skills, enjoy being creative, and be confident in a classroom environment. They should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for providing children and young people with life skills, as well as supporting the charity’s aims and objectives. The applicant must be able to work under pressure, deliver tasks to an agreed timescale and have the ability to manage their own workload, as well as working as part of our small, supportive team.

This varied role will provide an excellent opportunity for the applicant to influence and deliver our flagship, evidence-based programme with national reach, whilst also being able to enjoy the buzz of being in the classroom regularly themselves.

Applicants should have experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs, including mental health issues and substance misuse. You will have experience supporting survivors of Domestic Abuse. Knowledge of safeguarding, welfare benefits, housing legislation, and the ability to accurately record casework using computer systems is essential.

As a Team Leader on our Liverpool Connect to Work programme, you will lead the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred employability service in line with supported employment (SEQF) fidelity models (this role is often referred to as a service manager position).

 This role focuses on enabling people with disabilities, learning difficulties/disabilities, neurodiverse conditions, mental health challenges or individuals from disadvantaged and complex backgrounds to prepare for, secure and sustain meaningful paid employment aligned with their goals, while promoting inclusion, independence and long-term wellbeing.

You will manage and develop a team of Employment Specialists, ensuring excellent service delivery, strong performance and positive participant experiences. The role is to motivate and support a dedicated and professional operational team to deliver a high-quality service in line with SEQF fidelity, drive referrals, support participants to achieve their employment aspirations, meet performance expectations, ensure compliance across all requirements and achieve high levels of service standards and accreditations, while contributing to the wider organisational growth strategy.

• Lead a team to deliver person-centred employability support that helps people achieve sustainable employment, education and training outcomes.

Working in the Citizens UK tradition of broad-based community organising, the Community Organiser will help embed organising across the Cathedral, its parish partnerships and its civic relationships, contributing to the co-creation of Sheffield Citizens Alliance.

Cambridge Sustainable Food CIC (CSF) is a non-profit organisation established in 2018 working to build a fairer, more sustainable food system which supports the community and the environment. We campaign to achieve healthy and sustainable food for everyone; food which is good for our health, the planet, and the local economy. 

The Food Justice Alliance

The Cambridge Food Justice Alliance is a network of local organisations working together to address food insecurity in Cambridge and take strategic, collective action for lasting food justice. The Alliance strengthens connections across the city, supports partners to share knowledge and experience, identifies shared priorities, and coordinates activity to help residents access fair, dignified and sustainable food support. Its work is guided by a steering group with representatives from Cambridge Sustainable Food, Cambridge City Foodbank, Cambridge City Council, Cambridge United Charitable Trust, Abbey People CIO, Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum and Church of the Good Shepherd. The Steering Group shapes key themes, agrees collective actions and identifies the partners best placed to lead specific areas of work. 

This is a coordination and systems leadership role, not a frontline delivery post. The Coordinator will strengthen partnership working, improve communication and shared learning, support resident involvement, and increase the Alliance's influence on policy, funding and system change. The role will help build a stronger, more connected and influential Alliance, enabling collective action to address both the causes and impacts of food insecurity.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Coordination and Development

• Coordinate and facilitate meetings of the Steering Group, wider Alliance and working groups.

• Establish and maintain an annual work plan, monitor progress and support shared accountability.

• Build strong relationships across voluntary, community, statutory, academic and grassroots organisations.

• Support partners to identify shared priorities, reduce duplication and develop collaborative approaches.

Mapping, Insight and Systems Development

• Develop and maintain a clear picture of food-related provision across Cambridge.

• Map support pathways, referral routes, gaps and opportunities.

• Improve understanding of how services connect, including emergency food, community sector provision, public health, advice services and other statutory organisations

Generalist Advice Worker/Advice Session Supervisor or Trainee position

This post is advertised as an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advice Session Supervisor (A.S.S) to consolidate their skills and experience or as a development opportunity for an advisor to train to become an A.S.S within six months of starting in post. The post holder will be required to work across all of our offices and outreaches in Southwark according to operational needs.

To be successful you will need:

• Recent experience of giving advice to the public. This should include having undertaken advice casework.

Reporting to the Advocacy and Complex Needs Manager for the region, key responsibilities will include:

- Complete effective and efficient case management of circa 20 complex beneficiary cases; ensuring case records are maintained, accurate and up to date.

- Complete visits with beneficiaries in their homes to assess need, build and maintain positive, professional relationships, build engagement, review progress and provide practical, person-centred support.

- Work holistically with beneficiaries to explore their full range of needs, identify and agree their priorities, and develop a clear, person-centred support and action plan.
- Provide specialist advice and advocacy, identify appropriate statutory and external services, including mental health, addiction and substance misuse, and housing services, and support beneficiaries with referrals.
- Work collaboratively with beneficiaries and partner agencies to overcome barriers, coordinate support around agreed priorities, and provide practical and motivational support throughout.

Face to face work with beneficiaries is an important part of the role, and the successful candidate will need to be able to travel across the designated area to meet beneficiaries in their homes or other appropriate community locations (travelling within working hours).You must live within the Northumberland & Northern Ireland.Other periodic travel will be required for team meetings.
The successful applicant will require a DBS check at Enhanced level to be undertaken as part of pre-employment checks.

The Woodland Trust is looking for an Engaging Communities Officer - Trees for All at our Hainault Site. As an Engaging Communities Officer, you will support the delivery of the Woodland Trust's Trees for All programme in northeast London as part of the Woodland Trust's Central Region team. Key skills and experience:

The required skills and competencies for this role are:

-Professional qualification in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., psychology, psychotherapy, counselling, systemic therapy or related).

-Current registration with an appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC, UKCP, BACP or equivalent).

-Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision linked to CWP or EMHP practice

-Demonstrable experience providing clinical governance/assurance input (audit, quality improvement, action tracking and practice standards).

-Experience working with children and young people in therapeutic / emotional wellbeing / mental health contexts, with strong safeguarding and clinical risk practice.

-Experience of delivering CBT informed clinical supervision to staff delivering low intensity CBT interventions

It would also be an advantage if you have any of the following skills and competencies:

-Experience leading workstreams and influencing across teams/services; and experience of formal line management (including performance and wellbeing support) for designated staff groups
