London National Park City is looking for a friendly and energetic community organiser to join our small staff team as a Ranger Coordinator. This is a two year contract role for at least four days per week, to support the delivery of our Ranger programme and activities across London.

You will work closely with the Community Director to support the development and confidence of individual Rangers, help deliver our ranger training programme, and support the recruitment and induction of new volunteers into our community, and embody the culture and community that makes our rangers feel supported, connected, and valued.

Key Responsibilities

Community Organising & Ranger Community

• Act as a key point of contact and support for Rangers across London, helping them feel connected to the wider community and to London National Park City while getting to know them and their needs individually. 

• Lead on the assembly of our River Rangers cohort, bringing together new and existing Rangers whose projects are connected to our rivers and waterways, and creating engaging learning experiences for them.

Facilitate training and identify the necessary resources to support Rangers in learning green skills alongside exploring climate justice and community organising. Co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue booking, communications with participants, and preparation of materials.

• Support the gathering and analysis of feedback from programmes to inform ongoing programme development. 

Ranger Recruitment

• Directly support the identification and recruitment of new Rangers, including developing outreach strategies to attract volunteers from all of London's diverse communities. 

• Working with the communications team, contribute to recruitment materials on our website and digital channels.

• Help manage the application and onboarding process for new Ranger recruits, providing a welcoming and smooth experience from enquiry through to induction.

• Actively build relationships with underrepresented communities, community organisations, and local networks who may be interested in joining the Ranger community. 

Programme and Administration

• Maintain up to date records and administration on Rangers and their activities, including maintaining databases, tracking participation, and preparing reports.

• Contribute to the delivery of the Small Grants programme, including supporting Rangers to apply for grants, and design their projects. 

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation, helping to capture stories, data, and outcomes that demonstrate the impact of the Ranger and Small Grants programmes.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world.

This is a contract role ideally full-time or for at least four days per week, initially until June 2028. Salary is dependent on experience and in the range of £32,000 to £36,000 full time. We are open to applications for flexible working arrangements which many of our staff take up.

You will have 25 holiday days allowance per year, pro rated for part-time working.

Following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, we will enrol you in our Nest pension scheme, and will make additional payments of 4% as long as you contribute 4% of your salary each month.

This role involves a mix of remote and in person working with regular travel across London. You must be based in London and be prepared for regular travel.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial accounting, payroll, treasury, taxation and compliance activities across the College and its subsidiary entities. At Single Homeless Project (SHP), this role is a strong starting point if you’re looking to build a career in the sector. You’ll gain exposure to frontline services, develop confidence in managing a busy environment and be supported to grow your skills and progress in a way that works for you.

JOB PURPOSE  

The People and Learning Manager supports the delivery and ongoing development of the organisation’s Learning & Development (L&D) approach, combining practical delivery with scope to shape and improve learning initiatives.

Working closely with the Head of People Services, the postholder will design, deliver and evaluate inclusive and impactful learning programmes that build organisational capability, support leadership development, and enhance the experience of both employees and volunteers. This role also oversees training administration for staff and volunteers, ensuring that all learning activities are well-coordinated, effectively promoted and accurately recorded to support meaningful reporting and continuous improvement. 

Alongside this, the role will contribute to the wider People agenda by embedding learning and development into core HR practices by supporting managers through coaching, contributing to employee relations matters with a developmental lens, and supporting people projects. The role works collaboratively with the People Services team to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach to people development and practices across the organisation.

MAIN DUTIES 

Learning and Development (Staff and Volunteers)  

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve the organisation’s L&D offer for staff and volunteers, aligned with organisational priorities and plans.   

• Design and deliver practical training and guidance to managers on effective people management, building capability across the organisation.  

• Identify learning needs and develop solutions, including designing and facilitating programmes, workshops, and learning resources.   

• Deliver core learning programmes, including management and leadership development, and contribute to organisation-wide learning activity.   

• Design, deliver, and evaluate volunteer training programmes, ensuring volunteers have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to carry out their roles.   

• Develop and embed initiatives such as mentoring, coaching, shadowing, and career development pathways.   

• Manage and develop the organisation’s e-learning platform and learning resources, including supporting rollout and use of the HR system learning module to improve access, tracking, and impact.

Magic Bus is seeking a Global Senior Finance Manager to lead financial management
across each of its Magic Bus Global, UK and Singapore entities (“three Magic Bus
entities”). This is a senior, high-impact role, critical to supporting the organisation’s next
phase of growth and strengthening its global finance function.

Based in the UK and reporting to the Magic Bus UK Board and Executive Director (with
alignment to Magic Bus Global and Singapore leadership), the role operates within an
international development NGO environment. It combines hands-on financial
management with strategic oversight, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and
financial insight across multiple geographies.

The postholder will oversee end-to-end finance operations, manage outsourced
providers (audit, payroll) and play a key role in driving financial sustainability and
performance. In addition, and when the opportunity arises, the postholder will support
the fundraising initiatives of Magic Bus UK and any other Magic Bus entities as
appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership:
- Lead financial management across each of Magic Bus’s Global, UK and
Singapore entities, ensuring consistency, transparency and strong internal
controls.
- Act as the primary finance lead to the Magic Bus UK Board and Executive
Director.
- Strengthen financial policies and processes across all three Magic Bus entities.
- Ensure compliance with UK charity regulations and Companies Act 2006 (as

Qualifications and Experience:
